Kin sighed, "Alright." he closed his eyes again and focused harder, he sent the charka through the calcium and the spikes shot up to be about 3 feet tall, one almost coming up between his father's legs.
"Better." his father said. "Try again."

Kin took a deep breath, he was getting it, but it was harder than it looked. He let out the breath quickly forcing the charka and calcium out again, this time the spikes shot up, being about 10 feet tall some as high as 14 feet. Kin smiled as he looked, his father was gone.
Kin looked a bit shocked and confused.
"Father?"

"Kinimaro." his father's voice came from above.
Kin looked up and his jaw dropped, his father was half inside of the larger spikes.
"This is the other half of the skill, to move through the spikes and attack your opponent if they may have survived."
Kin put his hand on the smooth bone, "But how?"

"Same way you manipulate the bones in your body son." Kimimaro dissapeared into the spike and stepped out at the bottom.
"Go ahead, try it."
Kin took a deep breth, and remebered the basics of their blood line. He put his hand on the bone and pushed, it went in, but then it got stuck.
"EH!" he tried to pull it out.
His father sighed.

Kin relaxed and pulled his hand free.
"You have to make it fluid, its a fluid movement." Kimimaro set his hand on his son's shoulder.
"Right, fluid." Kin put his hands out and stepped into the bone spikes. He emerged at the top.
"Amazing..."
His father nodded.

"Now try to move from one spike to the next, first by jumping and then through the ground." Kimimaro crossed his arms watching his son.
Kin tried to jump, but his foot got caught in the spike and he fell, hanging upside down.
Kimimaro sighed, "Try again."
Kin sighed, embarased.

Kin vanished down into the spike and came out of the top again, this time her leapt to the next one, but hit it, instead of entering it.
Kimimaro rolled his eyes.
"In the spike, not running into it......"
Kim sighed, embarased again.
He vanished into the spike.

Kin reappeared at the top of the spike and jumped to the next one again, landing into the next spike diving half greacefully into it.
"Better." his father said
Kin popped out of the top and looked at his father.
His father gave a small nod of approval.

Kin knew what was next, he didn't know how he was supposed to do it, but he had to do it...
He dove down, following the calcium vien, till it became what seemed to be too small, he came back up and popped half his body out.
"How? The viens are too small..."
"You have to flatten out and ride the calcium vien."

Kin dove down into again, this time when he came to the narrower vien he did what he could to flatten his form out and pass through the vien. He then found a passage that led up. He popped out of the top and looked around.
His father was below him, he gave a small smile and nodded.
"Very good, next is to learn how to use it for combat. Try using the Dance of the Camelia with it."

Kin had to figure out how to do it....
"Use the element of suprise. I'm going to walk about, I want you to charge me from one of those spikes." Kimimaro jumped up and began to walk throught he labyrinth.
Kin dove back into the spike and began to move around, once he was in the small vien he could feel the change in pressure on the ground, guessing where his father was, he shot up from the vien into a spike and leapt from the spike, with one error, he forgot his weapon.

Kimimaro merley stepped away.
"Unarmed?"
Kin sighed, he had shot into the next spike after relizing he had forgot his weapon.
Kimimaro wandered through the spikes waiting.
Kin dashed through the vien, when he found where his father was he shot into the main spike and readied a weapon, he then shot from the spike and lunged at his father.

Kimimaro grabbed the blade.
"Good job. But since I have the same sense as you, I knew where you could come out of."
Kin was leaning half out of ths spike, his own spike protruding from his hand.
"So thats it..."
"Yes, you learned dance of the seedling fern. But son there are still 3 more dances to learn." Kimimaro put his hand on his son's shoulder.
Kin stepped out of the spike, "And I'm ready."

"After that, I think its time for a simpler skill, and one that can be used with the Seedling ferns, this is one of the few distance skills I know." He lifted his hand and pointed it at a tree, from his hand 5 bone tips shot from his finger tips.
Kin's eyes lit up, finnaly a distance skill.
