Boredom again proves fruitful...and I've always like the ideas of Nightmares so I decided to draw one, pointedly for the sake of realtion, it's Malik's Nightmare...who doesn't really...have a name...hm...anyway, the fire on her hooves in this one isn't supposed to be like hoof fluff but just showing it there without motion. Half/fifteen.

Along with doing Nightmare for the first time, Serino got to accompany her in a drawing that demonstrates thier unique qualitites that make them not your ordinary common steeds. Nightmare running with her fire, leaving trails of it and Serino with his wind. Honestly I wanted to do more with this like a firey tornado in thier wake...but my piece of paper was too small. Oh well, turned out nicely anyway. Hour/hour.

Piper's father, Kieran Silvercrest. A moon elf by nature, which explains the blue tints in his skin at his ear tips and fingertips. Now yes, he's very blue but that's his color and it fits him. On his armor, sword, and face it a specific repeating symbol, which is the crest of his home plane. One can definately see where Piper gets her style from, can't they? Hour/hour and a half.

Piper Silverfeather...really is a girl, see? Yeah, anyway what with her getting hitched and all, I had the urge to throw her in a dress. Of coures said dress is elven in nature and shows signs of her favorite color/heritage as well, that being the moons and leaves. The pendant she's wearing is actually a cresent moon and leaf...but the detail got lost and that made me sad. Oh well. My perfectionist self hated this at first because her ears aren't even. But silly perfectionist, they're supposed to be that way. Hour/hour.

Yup, it's Aella, a.k.a. Whirlwind. And you guessed it, she doesn't give up her slave clothes. She stays in those tihngs as much as possible, so she's practically walking around naked (didn't draw it though...gaia is a PG-13 site, remeber? Pff). Why does she do it? Because she's not ashamed of her body, or what happened to her in the Harem. That's why! Hehe. This bowstaff is her favorite weapon, native to her homeland. Origionally, the long wooden stick with hoops and chimes was ment to ward evil spirits off in order to secure a succesful hunt, but Whirlwind likes to put it to other uses.

So what does an aspiring animator do when she is bored in her art history class? (aspireing=not yet in the program) She doodles. And what does she doodle? Bode. Plain and simple, this is me fooling around with Bode's face. Some are cute, a few are pretty ugly, and that one in the bottom right corner scared me. Why are there skulls at the bottom? You're guess is as good as mine.

So now Bode has some new threads, so i thought I'd draw her up. Bit of a colabritive with Frac on this one. And since she was in Piper's room and wearing Piper's tunic (I am assuming ninja ) I put her in a red dress with a feather motif arounf the edges. And yeah...a different design for her face. Hmmm...looks a bit like Rin from Inuyasha, doesn't she?

Ta-dah! It's Tarathiel! Az asked for this one, and I decided to take it into photoshop to see what I could do with it. Starting to wish my comic book had drow in it just so I could use this character design.

Just in case anyone was confused with my little imp descritption, I doodled up a quick pic. Jaun is on the left, witht the blond hair, and Jell on the right as a brunette. Strangley enough (or not so, if you read any of the posts) Jaun is the smart one. Also, notice how Jell isn't wearing any shoes.

Again it's Kieran...and a very small Piper. It's cute beyond all belief and I think a nice contrast to Piper's persona really. Gone from sweet little girl to fiery woman with red streaked hair. Yeah, she's that young...doesn't even have streaks of red yet. Great thing about this one, her ear. There to see and it does indeed have blue on it...nice to be able to express the little trait. Anyway, I babble. Hour/Hour.
