Yea, I believe it was 13-10. Don't know what happened there, but it seemed throughout the whole year that they weren't as confident.

I guess the Patriots beat the Colts physically in their regular season matchup, but they also won mentally. The mental New England win drained a lot of Indianapolis confidence, which isn't why they performed so well.

Idk, we'll never really know what was up with the Colts this year.
I guess we (as in the Colts) just have to look forward.

I don't think you'll lose any players to retirement. Look forward to the draft (which Indianapolis scouts well in), and hope for no detrimental injuries like you experienced this season.

Oh, and also hope for Dungy's return (a final decision should emerge in the next few days).

I hope so..
That's drving me crazy at night, it'd be a shame to see Dungy leave.
But, that's how it goes.
sad

They need his pretty badly, and so does the NFL in general.

The Colts have good offensive and defensive coordinators, and a good GM. Things probably won't change too much if he decides to step down, but in best case scenario for the Colts, he needs to return. surprised

I know they do, its just, it's Tony Dungy.
One of the greatest coaches ever.
neutral

I would like dungy to leave just because he is an awsome coach who works for the colts

Well, the big game is set. While one team is no surprise, the other is a big surprise.

Who would've thought that the Giants, with an inconsistent QB and without their star TE and #2 RB, would pull off a Steelers-esque run and make it to Glendale? Hard to believe, but they've done it. Now, they have a chance to make history in more ways than one.

1. It's the Super Bowl. Enough said.
2. A second opportunity to knock-off the undefeated Patriots.
3. They've already made some history as, with Peyton last year, the Mannings become the first brothers to start in the Super Bowl in consecutive years.
4. Should the Giants win and Eli is MVP, they will be the first brothers to win Super Bowl MVP titles, let alone in consecutive years.
5. The Giants are only the 3rd team in the Super Bowl era to go on the road for all their games and make it to the Super Bowl (1985 Patriots, 2005 Steelers) and could be the second to win the title.

When all is said and done, Giants have momentum and Patriots have star power. Which one will prevail in Glendale? I don't know and it's going to be a close game, much like the one in Week 17, but my money's on the star power.

Nice facts and predictions.

I actually will predict a lower scoring game. Both defenses of either team have stepped up even more as of recent, and have produced late closings to the games.

But I have to say the Giants will be on top.

I really think NE will play a spread defense, they'll bring the running back out of the back feild and they'll have no problem moving the ball, but i also think NY will have no problem moving it, unless Eli pulls and Eli and is like "Hey i'm a Manning, i can throw it 65 yards whee ".
I think also as long as the Giants don't beat there selves with costly penalties and such, they can, and will win.

i dont think it will be that high scoring in week 16 it was a pretty average game but in the super bowl its more conpetive. i think the patriots will win on a last second FG like always or it can go the other way around but i think you can think the patriots will have a success in the super like always.
