Eyes widened and Emery shivered as Ryo moved his hand up the injured arm. He leant into the touch, and sharply inhaled at the small kiss. Emery looked up at Ryo just a tad bit fearful. The boy was being so forward... though not unwelcomingly so. Butterflies in Emery's stomach became dragonflies as Ryo advanced. No one had ever come onto him like this before.
Emery leaned into the kiss with Ryo's guidance, at first, only gently pressing like Ryo did. Slowly, Emery traced his hands up the older boy's abdomen, grabbing a hold of the shirt at Ryo's chest to pull them closer together.
Briefly, Emery let go of the kiss and nuzzled into Ryo's neck--breathing. Just breathing.
"Thank you," He whispered. "Just...Thank you."

Ryo wasn't trying to hurt Emery in any way, he was being gentle and slow because he didn't think Emery would go for a fast and furious kind of kiss right now. Besides that, Ryo himself wasn't ready for that yet, they had only just confessed their feeling towards each other.
"You're welcome" He couldn't help but smile at the younger boy. Emery was just being so cute.
Ryo wrapped his arms around Emery's neck and very slowly and gently ran his fingers through his golden locks. "And thank you" He whispered as well.
((writing a little, but having it be relivent to the topic and meaning a lot, is FAR better then writing a lot for the sake of writing a lot, rambling, and having it mean nothing))

As Jean stood there, half a step away from full tears, he heard Tai mumble that he wasn't, in fact, lucky. Jean always thought that he was just unlucky because his powers ended other people's lives. But maybe all mutants had rough lives, even if they were harmless. Maybe mutants could be hated just because they were different. Even looking at himself in retrospect, Jean had always feared mutants before he got his powers, just because people told him to. Just because they were not the same.
This sudden epiphany ushered in even more intense emotions, including not only sorrow, but guilt as well. He was once just as bad as everyone else. Prejudiced against all mutants because they were different. This also made him think of his parents. If they knew he was a mutant, would they hate him to? After all, they were the ones who taught Jean to hate mutants in the first place. Did they love him? Or did they love that he was human? But he isn't human. He's a mutant. So they wouldn't love him. They couldn't.
As all these thoughts rushed through his head, more tears flowed from Jean's eyes. In the air around him, static levels began to rise quickly. After Tai felt to his knees before Jean and his hair fell in his face, Jean was distraught that he had provoked such feelings in Tai, when he meant to make him feel better. As Tai's hair began to stand on end, Jean realized what was happening, and he swiftly backed away from Tai, and as he did so, bolts of electricity arched from one part of his body, to another, and then to somewhere else. If he had stayed close to Tai for a moment longer, Tai would be hurt, and probably dead.

Tai had no clue what he was doing... What did he expect? As he sat there, he felt small snaps in the air around him. They kind of shocked him, but it wasn't so bad. Still he didn't know what it was from, until Jean jumped back. Tai looked up to see what had been wrong, when he saw a large 'wave' of light arch over his chest and out of the room. "Wha---" He breathed, his eyes wide open at what he had just witnessed. Tai's heart was racing, he didn't know what to do or what to say. He just sat there. That's what the shocks had been from! He waited a moment, then noticed that they were back. Quickly without thinking, Tai crossed his arms over his chest and curled up into a ball, his eyes were tightly closed. Huge gusts of wind began to circle around him, creating a wall. His hair blew across his face, but his eyes were still tightly closed.
He then felt the shocks die down, and so did the wind. Now there was just small breezes circling around him. He let go of his shoulders and held his hands out in front of him. "What.. Happened..." He whispered to himself, not know where the barrier came from. He then remembered that that had happened to him before, but it someone injured his mother. He still stared at his palms, his whole body was shaking with fear and tears rolled down his cheeks, as they did before.

Jean feared for Tai's life as more and more electricity jumped around Jean's body, and Tai curled up into a ball. Soon, however, Jean saw, felt, and heard wind blowing swiftly around Tai, and was awestruck. That was the first power he had actually seen in another mutant up close. Soon, the static and bolts around him began to decrease, until he was back to normal, along with Tai. "I'm sorry." Jean said, sighing. "My powers get a little out of hand when my emotions do. It's dangerous."

Tai looked up a Jean, fear resided in his pale gray eyes, but not fer of Jean, fear of himself. But when Jean said that his emotion got out of hand, Tai snapped out of it. "Your emotions..." She whispered, starting to wipe his eyes. His face went the same pink colour as before as he looked up at the other. He then quickly nodded, "Sorry for that... I just... I don't know what happened..." He remarked quickly, starting to stand up. He turned towards his bed and lifted his suitcase onto it, struggling a bit, but managing. "I should leave..." He mumbled, as much as he didn't want to say it, it would probably be safer...

Jean wanted to ask Tai to stay, but he knew it would be better if he left. In fact, he needed to end their near friendship now. "Yeah, you should. I mean, you're so pathetic. I had to try so hard not to kill you just now." he said, faking disgust. It killed him inside to be so mean to such a seemingly helpless boy, but it had to be done.

Tai froze. He didn't expect Jean to say that, he...he thought he liked him... She clutched the top of the suitcase and bent over it. He nodded his head, agreeing to what Jean had said. I am pathetic... he thought, remembering all of the things his mother said to him... "I guess I should go rot, just like my mother wanted..." He mumbled, grabbing onto the handle and pulling it off of his bed. He started to walk to the door, then stopped. He wants this... He'll be happier I guess... he thought, then he quickly continued walking to the door.

Jean stayed quiet and resisted every urge to apologize and call Tai back. He felt like his heart suddenly lunged into his stomach and fire took over his chest. As soon as Tai left and closed the door, Jean broke into tears, covering his eyes. 'There goes another friend...' Jean thought as he laid there in tears. He felt horrible...evil, even. How could he do this to ANOTHER person? He was a monster! But would he feel better if they became friends and he killed Tai, as he did his mother? Jean couldn't tell for sure, but he wished he would just die already, but he couldn't kill himself...He didn't have the nerve...He was a coward...

((mikado13: awww. X3 that was so sweet. thankies -hug-))
Emery smiled, and felt little tingly sensations run up and down his body. He felt so good inside.
So this is what it's like to feel limbo... Man...
He smiled himself silly, but suddenly realized that the tingly feeling was getting odd. Emery wiggled his toes a bit and cringed. Ah, that was it.
"Hey, Ryo? As awesome as you are, my leg is starting to go numb from being sat on...So I'm going to have to get up." He smiled again and stuck his tongue out. Gosh, how many times had he smiled just within that minute?

((lycanthropic tendencies: you're welcome, I just do what i can))
Ryo laughed a little and ran his fingers through the boy's golden locks one more time before getting off of him.
"Sorry about that. I get carried away sometimes."
He reached out his hand and smiled. "You need help getting up? Technically it's my fault your leg went numb anyway, so I should help you in return."
Ryo noticed Emery smile a lot more since he'd kissed him. It made him really happy to think he had caused the boy to smile so much.

As soon as Tai closed the door behind it, he leaned his back on it and slid down to he has on the ground. He didn't think that his roommate would be like that... He thought that either he or she would just ignore him, or become friends. But Jean..He..he told Tai so much about, Tai actually started to like someone, which was rare for him, then Jean went and told him he was pathetic and told him that it would be better for him to leave. But he didn't want to... He thought Jean would stop him, but he didn't.
Tai slid his knees up against his chest and wrapped his arms around them, nuzzling his head into his lap. "Pa..theitc..." He breathed, holding in tears as best as he could.

As Jean laid there sobbing, static rose around him again and he could feel more electrical surges coming. He tried with all his might to suppress his powers, but in such an emotional state, he simply couldn't. All he could do was try to let all the built up power out in a controlled way.
Jean held out his hands in front of him, keeping them parallel to each other, about a foot apart, and began to release electricity into the air between them. As he did this, he didn't feel that it was enough, because he could still feel tingles and pinches all over his body, meaning that he was going to start surging soon. In attempt to prevent this, Jean poured out more of his power between his hands, increasing the voltage greatly. The strange crackling, buzzing, and whistling sounds of air-bound electricity filled the room, and it was loud. Jean slowly felt his powers calming, and after about two minutes, stopped what he was doing.

Oliver paused when he heard noises from the room. At first he didn't know what to think, but as the sound got louder he knew that it was electricity. Could Jean be hurt by his own power... well Oliver could, so he came to the conclusion of yes. He quickly stood up and opened the door a bit, peering through the crack. He witnessed Jean letting out his emotions, and didn't know what to think. When he electricity calmed down, his house body went numb and the door suddenly creaked open.

Laughter erupted in fits of giggles from Emery's lips. He was really quite incoherent when he was this happy. But given the situation, it was excusable.
"Nah, I can get up on my own." He pushed himself up, putting all his weight on his left foot.
And fell his a** back down.
"Oww..." he winced, rubbing his rear. "Why'd they have to make the floors so hard?" He pouted a bit and glared at the offending floor. "So, that offer for helping up still on?"
