but cant the chances of it dieing decrease if it has less time left to live?

But wouldn't it still die or run away? How is it possible to get the hatchling either way?

Hi oh wise dragon people
I managed to hatch and raise my first four dragons just fine, but in this last batch of eggs, two of them are soft shelled, and got that way the first time I viewed them! So, I immediately hid them, but now its been a day and a half, and they are still soft shelled if I take them out of the fog. What is happening, and more importantly, what do I do now?

Soft shell is when you have too many clicks compared to views and unique views. Hiding them in the fog is actually making things worse, since you stop getting views and unique views. A good way to both cure them and to help grow them is to just put them into the Egg Sanctuary (without them hiding in fog). Many people (including myself) are able to easily grow dragons just by placing them into the Sanctuary and not putting them anywhere else.

dragwarrior now its a chance it will run away, die, or u get it I don't think it has a chance of dying,but more likely running away.Unless you refresh it,it might die like what used to happen to me.

Sooooo, has anyone heard when the female 2heads will start to show up? Has TJ said? Or are we all just waiting with one another until a set of light blue wings shows up? I know the female on his scroll is grown. I'd sure like to get one of the girls.

Was there a certain time frame we had to name our dragons, or can you do that at any time? I've tried since they were hatchings (they're adults now) and it still says "the ink disappears as you try to write." =/ Am I missing something?

When it says that the ink is disappearing, that means that someone has already used that name for one of their dragons (you can't have two dragons with the same name). So you'll have to come up with a name (or names) that haven't been used yet.
