Spritekin Eulalia Danae The orb floated calmly into his grasp, as it whistled up at him, still in a low sad tone. Sections of it broke apart and it looked up at him with a blue tinged light similar to an eye. ((its like R2D2 IN BALL FORM!)) Myke smiles a smile he hadnt in a long time, a smile of kindness. The little mechanical bugger was kinda cute lookin in a orb of metal and bolts sorta way. He wished he could talk to it, cause he had a feeling that although it seemed to be able to see him, it probably could only understand spoken words. But he would try anyway, holding it out in one hand he held his other hand up in a peace sign that was used many years ago. ((totally what I was going for....Yay!)) The ball whirred slightly, a colorful rainbow of lights swirling in the eye to dance around a few minutes before fading once more back to the pale blue. The whole light went black for a second, and then was back, like the ball had taken a moment to blink.

((That would be cool if this thing had like Medical Zappy All fixed lazers that could give back oh say...Myke's voice. yknow. Connect the bond. Robo makin a new friend.)) Myke looks the ball in the eye carefully and wonders a moment....Then starts to sign words with his hands. Can you understand sign language? was the first thing he asked and waited for a responce.

((The thing is super stacked with gadgets and gidgets, so it wouldn't be too unlikely.))
The ball floated free from Myke's hands so he could use both to communicate if necessary. The ball rolled forward and back, simulating the nod of a human head.

((Signing would get a little boring after a little while. This would help quite a bit eventually. But weither or not Myke would spaz as an initial reaction before talking is my concern.))
Myke smiles and makes the hand signs for good and then starts to communicate again. Do you have a name? he asks the robot, even a serial number could be turned into a name or something.

The orb tilted to the left, and the twirled around until the bottom half was showing where "T9-1337" was embedded into the metal. It moved back the eye blinking again.

Myke looks over the name. T9 he thought for a moment and grinned a bit. A serial code was no name for a fine peice of machinery. Myke began to sign again. An intelligent thing like you T9 needs a better name. like TinTim or something.

The orb stood stock still for a moment then echoed a strange sound that sounded very familiar to a loud raspberry.

Myke tilts his head back a bit, the scar on his neck showing a bit as he scratches under his chin. Then begins to sign again. Do you have any ideas on what you want to be called?

Computer techies used that as a little fun joking code back in the day, quickly working the numbers in his head he looks at the orb and grins. You're Leet, like Elite but cooler. he signs nodding.

The orb twirled around and then beeped in approval. That was a name he'd accept well enough. The blue eye blinked, and then the orb tilted it's head as if questioning for Myke's name in return.
