"I-Iruka!" Kiba yelled as he quickly grabbed the other's hand. He tried to pull the other out of the hole but had a bit of difficulty. "Hold on.....Iruka!"

"i dont think i have any intention of letting go!" he called back, grabbing onto Kiba's hend and trying to get figner and toeholds in hte dirt walls to climb up. He slowly started to make it out

Kiba pulled back with all his might. His legs were shaking wanting to give to the other's weight.

Iruka managed to hook his foot on a root and shoved, tumbling himself out of hte hole and onto Kiba as he knocked him down as well. he lay there on his chest, pantong for breath and trying to wrap his mind around the fact that the ground had jsut tried to eat him

Kiba's eyes grew wide as the other fell ontop of him. A smile slowly came to his face. "At least you're out of the hole."

Iruka's hair had come loos and hung about his face as he looked up, givign a slightly crooekd grin as he blushed fetchingly across his scar "The ground tried to eat me, and you joke." He replied with a sigh, smiling slightly himself and not yet realizign that the way they had fallen made for a 'bad' position, at least if anyone jsut walked in it would

Kiba stared at the other's loose hair. He looked to the side as a small blush graced his face. He noticed the position they were in which made his blush grow deeper in color. "Uh....I do joke a lot....but...uh....." He couldn't bring himself to point out the way they looked.

Iruka blinked and in typical Iruka fashing, grew worried. "Are you alright?" Your face is red" he said as he gently placed a hand on the tohers forehead then cuped hsi cheek "were you injured?"

"Uh....n-no...I'm completely fine," Kiba said trying to sound calm and normal. It didn't work considering his voice was revealing how nervous and embarrassed he was feeling.

Iruka heard it and looked even mroe worried. he sat up on his knees and looke down over the others body slwoly ebfore lookign back up at him "did i hurt you when i fell?" he asked, blowign some loose strands back away from hsi face

"You didn't.....you didn't hurt me at all," Kiba quickly replied. His face grew deep from embarrassment as he tried not to think about it at all. He stared at the other's face and hated that Iruka didn't seem to catch on what was going on. He didn't want to be the one to say anything.

iruka suddenly blinekd and bit hsi lwor lip, cheeks pinking as he belatedly caught on. Quickly hopping up he busiesd hiself with examinign hte hole "thats..odd, i dint sence anything was here, did you?" he siad, jsut a little quicker then normal

"Look at hte sides, its all smooth and i cnat the bottom, can you?" he said, forgettign hsi embaresment over hte fact that this wholewas tripping all sorts of warnign bells

Kiba looked over into the dark hole and tried to see the bottom. "I don't see the bottom either. But it can't be that deep. Who would have the time to dig a deep hole?"
