Akuma rolled her eyes, but smirked at the idea. "Oh ha ha. I wouldn't kid so much about that. You might tempt me..." She said and playfully snapped at the air near Naboroo, but in a way that could be taken as slightly threatening. "You three are already getting on my nerves...."
Haruko half glared at Akuma. She didn't appreciate her attitude, especialy her attitude towards her mate. She turned back to Noryu and smiled. "Well that's good, princess. I shall rest my worries then."

A slight growl was heard from Naboo's throat. He stopped frowning for he had enticed Akuma to react.
Noryu giggled a bit worried, getting comfortable. She started walking forward again.
Nabooro followed and kept an eye on Akuma, staying near his lover.

Akuma rolled her eyes and started to walk even further behind the group, distancing herself physically... and mentally. She needed to calm herself down. If only those two males that adored her were around. She always cheered up around them.
Haruko sighed and wished she could rest her head on Nabooro right now. She didn't want to trouble him since they were both walking however.

For a while Noryu lead the group through bushes and around trees. She hoped they would reach the hills, and soon. She was feeling impatient to save the king and queen's people. How could dragonflies with such love fall under such a curse. Noryu kept taking glances behind her to make sure everyone was still there, and that Akuma wasn't behind her with a malignant intention.
Nabooro followed attentively still. As they got deeper into their voyage he started to talk, to ease the tention. No matter how serious matters may be, Naboo's motto is to make things fun and positive, because life is not meant to dwell. "So, when we find the remede, you guys will see how beautiful our kingdom is, isn't that right Haruko, remember our big hall, and the balcony at the very peak of the palace, where we would look at the dragonflies go to bed as the moon guarded them?"

Haruko smiled a little and nodded her head. With a good description, a story teller could "remember" anything. "Yes... and the field of flowers in front where pups used to come in play in every spring." She sighed as if she was remembering something she regreted losing. "Oh Nabooro... if only things were like that." Haruko was growing tired of walking so much. She felt worn out for some reason.

Nabooro listened to Haruko dreamily. He imagined the flowers, the beautiful colors of the field. The pups, oh how he loved the pups, playing with them, remembering the days when he was a pup. Lost in a daydream his bubble pierced abruptly. He was back into reality but he couldn't remember what it was. "If only...?" He stopped walking and looked at his lover deep into ponderation, then he started to giggle, "Oh my, we've been walking for a while haven't we... wow I was really trully deeply into tis story. Oh Haruko, I hadn't felt so enchanted in a long time." He got closer to his love and nuzzled her, "Thank you" he whispered to her. "Thank you!" He declared to the other two as he got much much closer to his mate.
Noryu stopped and looked backwards blankly. What had just happened she could not guess. Had they finally figured out she had lied all along? The magic was gone and she got a bit shy, "What is happeneing?"

Haruko blinked a few times. Without meaning too she must of shattered the little "dream world" she had created. She nuzzled her mate back, but seemed a little lost in thought. "It's what I seem to do best, Naboo..." She smiled a little and looked over to the pup. She frowned. Noryu probably didn't understand. It was an old habit of Haruko's... to get so into a story that she led others, especially pups, to believe it as if it were real.
Akuma rolled her eyes and sat down next to Noryu. "You don't get it do you? They tricked you for their own amusement as I was trying to tell you. I hate liars like them. You're nothing special, pup. Just another abanded young one, destined to be alone until you can properly defend yourself and prove your worth. Unless you DIE first of course." She narrowed her eyes.

Noryu shivered as she listened to Akuma. "So there is no castle, no people? no nothing?! No love..." The pup felt very awkward. And Akuma called the king and queen liars but she was just as bad...
Nabooro stayed close to his mate but looked down at Noryu. "Oh my it's true, we have engulfed you into our stories... I'm terribly sorry if we have troubled you. I guess you deserve proper introductions... well Akuma, Noryu, my name is Nabooro and I am far from being a king." He grimaced playfully.

Haruko frowned. They had seriously done something wrong. Revealing a long tale such as that always made Haruko nervous since not everyone appreciated being tricked into a fairy land. "No! The one thing that can never be made up is my love for Nabooro. That part was real. More real than anything!" She sighed. "I understand if you don't believe me, but it is true. I don't know how I would be alive without him. I am Haruko by the way.... Story teller."
Akuma laughed and looked down at the pup. "I wouldn't forgive them if I were you. What a mean trick! They gave you hope and happiness only to be crushed. Go on, yell at them. Make them suffer. They deserve all the guilt you can give them."

Noryu was just a pup, but already she had tasted what passion was. She ignored Akuma, wondering what she was so mad about and sighed dreamily. She looked at Haruko and Nabooro, understading finally what had just happened. She curled up inside her chest as though she was backing up to gain speed. She burst out, beaming, "You two have magical powers! You took me somewhere I never even thought of, and all of this was built on a love so strong..." She mumbled the last words looking up to the sky.
Nabooro smiled at his love. This was incredible. She held no grudge over them. Perhaps it was only the fact that she was young and gullible, unlike Akuma. Whatever the reason was, he kept his eyes on Haruko and whispered, "I love you."
Noryu then looked at Akuma, "What do we do now?" She asked, not a morsel of frustration in her voice.

That had been the last straw for Akuma. She was aggravated to the point where biting the kid's tail off didn't seem like a bad idea. A snarl escaped her. "Now? What now? Do what you wish. I'm leaving. Your goody goodness’ sickens me." She snapped her teeth near Naboroo in warning that it wasn't a good idea to stop her. She started to head towards elsewhere, hoping to find either one heck of a good meal or some decent company.
Haruko watched Akuma leave for a moment, but turned her eyes back to Noryu. Honestly, she barely cared that the strangely horned dragonfly was leaving. She wasn't pleasant company. "Noryu, you have a good heart. Thank you for being more understanding than most too..." She smiled at the young dragonfly. She licked her mate's cheek. "I love you too..."

Noryu's face turned into a sour grimace. Akuma scared her a little bit more. Noryu had loved the fantasy though and did not understand why the devil dragonfly was so enraged. "It was fun Haruko. I don't really have much to do being a youngling wandering around the woods. I tend to hide from danger and eat, normally..." She giggled.
Nabooro smiled at Noryu. She was an interesting little pup. She reminded him vaguely of his lover. Then he glanced at the leaving Akuma. Though he did not truly admire her, and thought she was a nuisance to goodness, he wondered if he should really let her walk away like that. He did not want to get into any kind of trouble so he decided to reflect with Haruko. In a whisper he asked her, "Do you think we should let her walk away? We had promised her food, had we not?"

"I'm happy. Stories should be meant to be enjoyed. If you are pleased than Naboroo and I must of told it just right." She nuzzled Naboroo and bit her lip. What if that awful woman did pull something? Haruko didn't like being around her at all, but she didn't want anyone to get hurt. How were they to stop her though? "I don't know. I don't like being mixed up with her in the first place. She probably is sick with us. Our company didn't please her. She is a very different person. It'd be dangerous to go after her. She might actually attack and I don't want you or Noryu getting attacked," She whispered to Naboroo, casting a few glances in the direction Akuma had gone. Haruko shut her eyes as she felt a chill go down her spine."We should be more careful when picking are side characters next time..."
She looked down at Noryu. "Well, I'm always happy to tell a story. Would you like to hear another?"

Nabooro nodded. He was still feeling a little bit bad, but he himself did not want Haruko or Noryu to be harmed. He stared in Akuma's direction then brought his eyes back on Haruko and Noryu.
Noryu looked up at the two adults. She was trying to hear what they were saying. Haruko turned around to ask her if she would like to hear another story. Noryu bit her lip excitedly. She forgot about her anxiety and jumped around, "Oh I would, I would really love it!"

Haruko giggled and sat down. "Alright, Noryu. What kind of stories do you like? I bet I could come up with something for whatever you wish. Nabooro too if he would like to help me." She smiled at her mate and nuzzled him once more, urging him to not worry for now. She wanted to forget about Akuma if possible.
