Hey... been at gaia for about a week and I have no idea what I'm doing. But I was invited here, so you all get to suffer my presence. Hahaha. I have a strange sense of humor, and I go by dema. That's about it...

Why are you Pro-Life?: As soon as a person in concieved they are a life. By the time people go to have an abortion, it has been over a month-after just a week the baby has a brain and a heartbeat and after a month it has already formed the human shape with head, hands, feet, etc. There is no doubt that that is a baby that they're killing and i hate it when ppl try to dehumanize it so they can feel no guilt. Also my dad had a friend who died of complications of an abortion. It doesn't just affect the mother-but also her friends and family if things go wrong-and they do a lot of times.
What about physical health to the mother?: That's a hard one and I think it should be left to the parents and no one else to decide. I'd hope that the mother would still try to carry the baby but I could understand if she didn't.
Also it seems like the baby is going to die no matter what and they have a chance to save the mother-i think they should do that.

There was this one lady in our church who the doctors thought would for sure die if she went through with having her baby but she loved it so much she couldn't give it up. So she prayed to the Lord and she ended up delivering her baby and making it through just fine! biggrin

Rape?: Another very hard situation but it's not the baby's fault so i think it should be delivered and then the mom can keep it or give it up for adoption.
Views on the Death Penalty?: sweatdrop since i'm one of those ppl who has trouble swatting a fly it's hard for me to say but in the Bible it does say "Whoever lives by the sword, dies by the sword."

Vegan?: No...aren't they the same thing?
Are there other ways you're pro-life?: As far as animals go? I don't know. It's cruel to abuse animals or even ants with the magnifying glass. I mean, if i find a spider i let it go rather than stomp it...except for the one time I found a black window-then i killed it because those are poisonous. It's good to care about life but you don't want to lean too far one way or the other to teh point where it's rediculous. sweatdrop

Why are you Pro-Life? (Were you adopted, know anyone who had an abortion, etc.): I've been raised as a Christian, but I have always (somehow) surrounded myself with friends that are atheist and/or pro-choice. I get to hear both sides of the argument everyday of my life, even from my own family, and I put together my own opinion when I was very young. Now it strengthens everyday. Abortion is murder. "Thou shalt not murder." Period.
What about physical health to the mother?: I still believe that abortion is wrong, even in this situation, but forcing the mother to give birth at risk of her own life would still be murder on my/our part, so ultimately, it is the mother's decision alone in this case.
Rape?: If you kill your child, just because its biological father raped you, you're just as bad as the father. Rape is disgusting and aweful, but why would you take out your anger at a rapist on a helpless child?
Views on the Death Penalty?: I, personally, don't have any problem with it, IF it is known for ABSOLUTE CERTAIN that the man being put to death is guilty of an absolutely hanous (sp?) crime. If he/she was innocent, may God bless the people who killed that man.
Are you vegetarian?: No, but I think about becoming one everyday. I'm against eating a lot of things (lamb, calf, basically anything that is just a small and defenseless little baby), but I love eating meat...
Vegan?: Considering that I don't know, entirely, what a vegan is, I would have to say no.

Why are you Pro-Life?: Simple reason: Because I believe that a fetus is just as much a person as I am. And if abortion is legal, then so is murder because it's the same bloody thing.
What about physical health to the mother?: The baby still deserves to live. It will still have a father and if not, it'll have family members of the deceased parents or even Godparents.
Rape?: Absolutly not. A child should not be killed due to rape. If the mother does not want the child, at least let it be put up for adoption. It has just as much a right to live as the mother.
Views on the Death Penalty?: I believe that a life penalty is enough.
Are you vegetarian?: Nope. Vegetarians and Vegans alike are not too smart. They say animals deserve to live, yet the machines that are used to harvest their soy food kills millions of innocents such as rabbits.

Why are you Pro-Life? (Were you adopted, know anyone who had an abortion, etc.): I believe that life is formed at conception. Some people say that it's not a real human until it exits the womb, but if it's not a human, what is it? A goat? neutral
What about physical health to the mother?: Sex is not just for pleasure ( whee ), it's also for making kids. And that means being willing to sacrifice your own health to do so. At least, that's the way I see it.
Rape?: I don't want to lessen the pain of a victim of rape, but she should not put the child's hypothetical self-esteem before even its existence. It is better to exist because of rape than to not have existed at all.
Views on the Death Penalty?: I believe it is justified in most cases. As my God sees a death penalty as a legitimate penalty, so do I.

What about physical health to the mother?: If she is in mortal danger, and you can't wait any longer to allow for the viability of the fetus, then I think it's up to the mother.
Rape?: I don't think that's even something valid to consider. Sure, there is trauma involved with rape. But to kill the baby for the sins of the father... No, not valid at all.
Views on the Death Penalty?: There are cases where it's necessary. However, I do think it's used way too much.
