Jaya just listened to all of the talk around her. Even the broken speech by the kits was being absorbed. Once she got the hang of things she would ask more questions. "Sister not like me?" Her tone sounded dissapointed. Maybe this other male she kept hearing could keep up her hope of friendship. As she had hope in Sirius since he was her guardian for the time being. "I like Sirius" she made a humming noise, purring inside her bell making it vibrate against his chest but made no noise.

Sirius chuckled softly to himself, then spoke to the bell Jaya once more. "No, my sister is quite different, she is a bit more forthcoming in some ways. She was also never a bell, that I know of." He smiled to the voice inside his head, "Well, I like you too Jaya, perhaps when you emerge you can meet the rest of us out here in the world."

Jaya had no idea what he meant but didn't want to confuse herself more to ask about it. "I'd like that" she spoke softly and more clearly. In no time at all she seemed to be growing rapidly in speech. Contentment settled over the bell, resting against him.

Sirius found it interesting and curious at the same time, having such an intimate conversation with a voice only he could hear. He decided to make the best of things, "You're welcome to stay with my family until you find your way in the world, perhaps we can help? We're new here as well, but learning."

"Really? That wouldn't be a bother?" The bell asked still concerned over this sister she's yet to hear. The warmth from his fur and the comfort from him was making her tired. The excitement of having someone to speak with had died off taking some of her energy with it.

Sirius nodded to himself, Sohalia might have something to say, but I'll tell her its only temporarily. He grinned at that moment, In either case I'll protect you and keep you close so you won't have to be alone. I'm sure it will be hard enough without thinking you're just completely abandoned.
Astraeus turned his head at his uncle in that moment. "Why are you making funny faces like that?" He giggled thinking his uncle was very funny.

The black rina smiled. "S...Soxs." She chirped, it was fun to say. She liked this name and wanted to keep it for her self. She look to Sirius when Astraeus turned to look at him. What on earth was he doing?

Sirius suddenly realized how many eyes were on him and coughed softly. He raised an eyebrow at his nephew, "No particular reason" he answered with a chuckle and ran a paw through Astraeus' hair.
Astraeus snickered and whispered to Soxs, "Uncle Sirius is talking to himself."
Sirius changed the subject quickly and asked, "So, who's still hungry or thirsty?"

The newly name Soxs eyed the older Sirius, with what Astraeus said she started to think he was a bit of an odd ball. Her tail flicked about behind her as her icy eyes watched the both of them. She was listening to their words and storing them away in her mind, but when Thirsty was used she knew what it was thanks to Kane. She nodded her head and meowed happily.

Sirius chuckled and nodded. "Good thing we're close to the stream." He nudged her with his nose in the behind, towards the stream. "Be sure not to fall in." He got up and decided to go sit by the stream just in case anyting happened.

She jumped abit and started to prance over to the stream when she was nudged in the behind. Onces there she bent over the water and stared into it. What was she to do? She knew what thirsty was and knew she was it, but how to qunch that thirst with out berries was beyon here.

Sirius looked down at how she froze, looking bewildered, and smiled, he started drinking the water in delicate laps, as was his style. "See, drink water to help you when you're thirsty." He moved his paw and motioned for her to do like he did.

She watched Sirius closely, when she understood what she needed to do Soxs bent down low to the stream. She opened her mouth and stuck her tough down into the cool water. It sent a shiver down her spine. She started to sloppily lap up the water and didn't even notice that she was ever so slowly leaning in closer and closer to the steam till she inevitably fell in. Good thing for her the bank of it was shallow, only came up to her waist. It still gave the rina a shock though, and she jumped out the stream just a fast as she had fallen in. Soxs was huffing and puffing for air, wet from head to toe.

Sirius chuckled and walked over to nuzzle the younger Rina. He started to help groom her so she wouldn't feel so shocked and scared. "It's ok, just a little water. It doesn't hurt." He smiled reassuringly at her.
Astraeus pounced over to Soxs and laid down at her feet, wrapping himself around her to help keep her warm. "How's that?" He asked brightly.

Soxs slowly started to regain control over her breathing. With the two Taestysia taking care of her, she felt a bit odd but also better and very warm. She smiled and said. "Better."
