"The book, it's there...I saw it...I can't believe that after so many years of searching I jus-" she was knocked flat on her face by another angel then picked up to be hurled into a wall which she smacked off and then fell to the ground feeling winded.
She slowly got back up to be slapped hard in the face, it stung and she screamed...not because of the pain but because of the bruising it might leave afterwards. She threw a punch hitting it square in the face causing it to stumble back from her, she smiled.
"wow, I've never smacked someone in the face before" and then she found herself kissing the floor again.
This is going to leave me awfully bruised []

After finishing off her last oponent, she saw Lace getting clobbered. Running toward the spot, picking up thrown daggers on the way, she prepared for a spinal slit. The throw missed its target by centimeters, slicing open the angel's back, instead.

Hikari, grabbed her dagger and and aimed at the nearest angel, and trew her dagger at it, hiting it at the thoat, she jumped at him, and got her dagger out of it "sorry my bad" she said and jumped off him.

Oh god, what a nightmare...I could be at home sipping a nice cup of hot coco right now, stupid angel terrorists!
She rolled over picking herself up once more, why had so many turned up? what a silly question...it was obvious, all of the children of sin!!
Gripping her dagger she threw it an angel that zoomed towards her, it stick into its chest but had missed the heart. It screamed out in pain and Lace covered up her ears "You can't sing love! get over it!" she yelled...the way they screeched was terrible, probably one of the most ghastly noises on the planet. The angel pulled the dagger from its body flinging it to the ground and shooting a beam of light in her direction. She dropped back down to the ground...now she wished she had learnt to fight properly in all of those years alive.

The angel reared in pain, showing its soft throat. A split second afterward, that same throat had a red gash in its middle. Alice ran to see if Lace was okay after her hard falls, hoping her face wouldn't swell too much.
"You okay?"

"I will live" she replied pulling herself up to stand "Just not much of a fighter...this quest...looking for the book, it will be hard but it will be worth it" she said with a smile.

Karpay shook herself free from the angel and pounded it down. "Don't touch my hair." she growled, adding a kick for extra emphasis.
She looked around to take in how many were down and how many were left. It seemed some of the angels that were watching had flown off somewhere. Probably to spy on us for later...she mused.
"Are ya'll okay?" she coughed out.

"Been better" Hikari said as she cleaned her dagger of the angels blood, as the blood fell on the ground a plant grew, "spawns of demons...." thats one of the angels she had encounter before had told her.

"I know what you mean. I don't usually get attacked by this many." She sighed. "Now I'll really have to go to my apartment." She picked up her daggers, along with any of the dead angels'. Cleaning them off, she added, "Didn't use too much poison, which is good."

Karpay shrugged. "Care to host your apartment to the injured?" she suggested, looking around. "I could stop by the 7-11 or something and nab some ice. I'm sure they wont notice a missing bag or two. And some bandages." She paused.
"Anyone want to follow?" she asked.
"Who are you?" she asked, noticing someone new.

Alice looked in the newcomer's direction.
"Why hello, Child of Lust. Well, I guess you could say a few angels tried to ambush us." Alice automatically crossed her arms and hunched her shoulders a little. The only time she was outgoing was when there was something truly interesting, like a cure. She looked in Karpay's direction.
"And yes, I would like to set up camp in my apartment for a small bit." She went toward Karpay.
