"'Lettuce?' That's an odd name for a city," Zeruel remarked, trying to understand exactly how the word was said and failing at it.

she shook her head.
"He wanted to take me to see the Oracle that's said to be underneath the ruins of the city. I'm only eight-teen"

"The Zeruel is confused, and as such, the Zeruel is going to stay quiet..." Zeruel said in a confused manner.
"When did oracles start joining this conversation?" Zeruel muttered to himself as he reached his hand down to pick Nightmare up and pet him.

Grogg listened to what everyone was talking about. All of the things they spoke of, he had never heard of any of them, though Orcs never were much for geography. Then, Grogg heard a word he didn't know. "Wise one, what does 'oracle' mean?" Grogg had learned enough of the human tongue to get by, but it was not complete. Besides, an 'oracle' sounded like something of real importance.

"Oracle - the response given through a medium, often in the form of an enigmatic statement or allegory." Markas replied after half a minute of thinking.

Zeruel looked up as he heard Markas speak.
"Thank you, Randy, for that definition. Very insightful," Zeruel said sarcasticly after Markas was done speaking.

"Randy! Where?" Replied Markas as he looks around. "Oh your talking about me. Well I really don't like doing definitions, but sometimes the times ask for it."

Haru was just sitting. He wasn't listening at all. He was thinking of what it would be like if fire birds or pheonix birds still exist. "Hey, uhm, Mr. uhhh whatever. Are there still any pheonix birds left or are they extinct?"

"They exist, but usually you'll have to go you a active volcano and move through a few magma vents."

"It sounds hard. I always wanted one. Can you keep them as pets? Hold on. Will you still get burned eventhough you can control fire and stuff?" He asked.

Nara shrugged
"I dont know. I do know they are very intelligent and should be treated as people if you ever do manage to find one so i dont think pet would be the right word for it."

Zeruel turned his attention to the questioner.
"You would get burned by their fire only if you couldn't protect yourself from a magical source of fire. A pyrokinetic like myself would likely get burnt, though I have natural resistances to most kinds of fire, as my training in Pyrokinesis gave me. I could, however, create a shield that would protect me from such a source of fire, though it would take a large amount of energy to keep it active," Zeruel said, trying to recall the little information he had gained on Phoenix's over the years he had traveled.

Grogg thought about what the teacher had said. An 'oracle' sounded something like a shaman. Almost like Chieftain Oondar, although the chief's current predictions were proved to be false. Grogg then listened to what the other students were talking about. "Grogg hear if you douse firebird in water they become touchable. Still no good to eat, firebird tastes like ash."

Nara could not help her smile.
"I'm not sure if you could touch it afterward or not but i'm pretty sure thats a good way to irritate the creature. Phoenix's are truly wounderious fighters and much stronger then they seem."

Zephnir decided to enter the conversation at that moment. "I have to agree on Nara with the fact that Pheonixes are more like humans and that bonds to hmans are more like companionship. My mother, for example, has a bond with one." He turned to his brother. "Since you didn't come home this summer you wouldn't know. Oh, and speaking of the Bouldershoulders." a childish grin spread across Zephnir's face. "Did i ever mention that i trained under Drizzt Do'Urden."
