Batafurai dragged the bucket full of milk to the silo, having trouble lifting it to dump the milk in the right one. She wiped her brow and ran back to the cow shed. Her run looked for like a waddle, and she began to sing 'Old McDonald' to herself. Quickly finishing off the remaining cows and giving them all a good pat, she waddled back to the silo and dumped the heavy bucket of milk in. She stood there disorientedly(sp?) for a few minutes. 'What.. do I do now?' The Yellow haired girl started to walk back to the cow shed, but then stopped, thought for a moment, and walked back to the silo. Glancing to her sensei, Batafurai looked around for a moment before smiling and waving. "I'm done with the milking, Yuki-sensei!"

Shinji let the strings wrap around him. The fight was lost, anyway. "Well," he said, "that about does it for me. There's no way I can win." Shinji grinned at Mayumi. "It was a good fight, though. Now, d'ya mind getting me untangled, sensei?"

Ran was still in the back, and feeding the chickens. When she finished, she came around to finish up. Putting the feed pail away, she went to grab the dog food, as the Elder had a few hounds on the form. Then it was the barn cat, and a donkey that was around back, and she would be done.
However, that plan shifted a little, at least orderly-wise, as the Kaguya broke into a rough coughing fit.

She'd had to move aside some things to get to the dog food, and that knocked something on a shelf above where she was getting the kibble from, over. Which created a large cloud of dust that attacked her instantaneously. Trying to ignore the protest of her lungs, Ran worked to get a small bucket of dog food so she could divvy it out between the bowls of the dogs. She managed to stop before she got to where the bowls were, but she was a little winded afterwards.
Thus the Kaguya's major flaw was exposed even further: Her health- particularly her lungs. The cause for her constant coughing, and ill-appearance.

Mayumi’s clone untied Shinji as the real one ordered her to stop. The clone vanished in a puff of smoke soon after it saluted to the real Mayumi. She lifted up the left side of her blinker and took a good look at everyone. She smiled and put it back on.

“Good day to you guys, I am going to be the jounin-leader of this team, Team Arrow,” she began “now that I’ve seen what type of fighters you guys are, we can begin the real training.”

“Introduce yourselves, please”

The minor illusion they had been projecting disappeared instantly, and the twins stood up. They walked casually over to their new sensei and teamate. They immediately obeyed Mayumi with their introduction.

"We are Kenso and Kento of the Kurama Clan."

((Geez this moves pretty fast, I'll try to read all the other teams' posts too to keep up, but haven't had time yet.

Was waiting for Gaen to post before replying, but seemed to have missed his post as I didn't have time to reply during the weekend. Sorry!))

Kinu was a bit embarassed over her bad judgement and stupid assumptions. Having been completely wrong about what her sensei had meant threw her slightly off. So what exactly ARE we supposed to do? Just sit there in a tree and babysit them? Sneak up and watch them train?? What an odd task the sensei gave us. She gave the sensei an annoyed glance, then just snorted and looked away.

As the whole thing made very little sense to Kinu, other than giving the teacher an excuse for leaving to handle other matters, she decided to drop it and just concentrate on the part about doing some training on her own and improving. She was already setting up her training schedule in her head when Roque suddenly unexpectedly invited her to spar with him. At first Kinu hesitated. What? More time with these brats? Spar? He can't be serious...

But after a moments hesitation Kinu realized she really didn't know enough about this guy. They were supposed to be on the same team and certainly seemed to be stuck like that for quite some time forwards now. Working in a team was impossible if you did not know your teammates strenghts and weaknesses. How was she supposed to come up with a decent strategy if she didn't even know what the boy could do. Perhaps this contempt and looking down on this boy only originated from Kinu's own insecurity and fear of being a bad ninja, bringing her clan shame, letting her parents down. No, she really had to snap out of this better-than-you mentality, it was something that was looked down upon in her family and always strongly adviced against.

And after all, coming to the Konoha village had been Kinu's own decision, not her clans or her villages. She could still see her mother's doubting expression when she had announced her decision to travel to the Hidden Leaf country- The way her mother had with her eyes alone shown Kinu that she thought it was a really stupid decision Kinu had made. She knew very well that most clan members did not think Kinu was ready yet to leave the clan's grounds and travel out into the big world. Many thought she was not yet skilled enough, that she hadn't had enough patience to learn the secret techniques of the clan before leaving. Some even thought it would be shameful for the clan to show the world such an untalented ninja. But Kinu had not let this stop her, too stubborn as she was, refusing to listen to her siblings' wise words. She just wanted to do her own thing, see a bit more than just the well known grounds around their estate.

"Sure, I accept. A light spar could be good since we need to get to know eachother better to work more smoothly as a team." Kinu nodded, and actually smiled as she looked back up straight at Roque, something which certainly was a first. Maybe this was a slight glimpse of hope? Perhaps this team wasn't as impossible as it seemed at first?

Shinji introduced himself next. "Shinji Yohare, sole survivor of the Yohare clan, at your service, sensei. Now, I don't believe you've told us your name."

Isaaku finished not long after Yuki had done so, and even from his distance, Yuki could tell that he had gotten quite the workout from his speedy run through the fields' winding paths. Batafurai finished only moments after Isaaku had, having dumped the last pail-full of milk in the silo. Batafurai then jovially announced her completion to her sensei with a wave. It was then that Yuki noticed a sudden cloud of dust from the barn entrance accompanied by the sounds of whining dogs and a fit of heavy coughing. Yuki began to walk toward Ran, but ceased to do so when the coughing ceased and Ran emerged, not appearing any more sickly than usual. So, it seems that the Kimimaru's mysterious illness is genetic, or at least regional. Ran continued to feed the remaining animals, and Yuki headed towards an area equally close to them. When all had finished, he motioned for them to come to him.

Ran finished with feeding the animals, partially having noted her sensei's small start at her coughing as she was controlling it. She wondered how many times she would wind up startling them, with the way her lungs reacted to some things. She sourly remembered the first time she'd ever used up almost all of her chakra, and payed in a weeks' worth of bed rest for it. And then the extra work she'd had, afterwards. That had been the first time she was experimenting, forming her hone senbon jutsu.

Putting the last of the things away, the Kaguya came forward as she and her team mates were bade. She was curious as to what they would be doing next. Giving one last cough for the moment, she approached her sensei and stood off to the side, to see what was expected of them, next.

Mayumi snapped her bow into its two halves and mounted it behind her. She adjusted her blinker by untying it and putting it back on again, keeping her eyes closed all the time.

"My name is Mayumi Ishiyumi, a jounin from the Hidden Village of Sand. I was assigned here due to lack of jounin-leaders for teams," she said, while adjusting her blinker to perfect tightness, "You may call me Mayumi-sensei."

"I apologize for attacking you guys earlier without warning but I wanted to see what abilities my new team had."

"And what did you find out, Mayumi-sensei?"

The twins looked at each other and then back to Mayumi with smirks on their faces. It was rather amusing when she told them what they could 'call her'. They had noticed a distinct lack of jonins lately, but they couldn't figure out why. It was probably above their rank, so they didn't pry. The twins then turned their attention to the blinker. It was rather strange to fight blind, but it had handicapped them. It wouldn't handicap ninjutsu users though.

Batafurai watched Ran walk over to their sensei's chosen spot, and put the bucket down next to the silo and bouncing over happily. She said nothing, but smiled and flicked a bit of droopy hair out of her face. Standing next to her female team-mate, she waited for instructions.

Isaaku looked over to Yuki-sensei and nodded. He proceeded to pick up his things with a slightly worried look on his face. He was sure to wipe it off as he jogged over to the little meeting place. "I know that coughing is to be expected from a dust clouding... But that was like she was hacking up a lung and maybe her liver..." Isaaku thought to himself as arrived. He nodded again as he was once again, next to Ran.

Roque was happy that Kinu had accepted his offer. He hadn't been expecting much, maybe the chance to try and talk her into it, but a fully certified 'yes' was just surprising. The fact that it carried along with a smile and that she was actually looking at him blew him away even further. He couldn't remember the last time she had actually smiled at him, if she actually had. 'Good stuff. Moving forward.'
"Just what I was thinking." Roque said, returning a smile of his own. "How can we work together if we don't know what we can do? Well, I'll be at the training ground in like, ten minutes. Enough time for me to leave a note for the Iwa-genin that I live with. You could probably take that time and grab anything you may need. I want to see how badly you can beat me when you're at full steam." He said with another smile. "See you in ten." He waved and then jumped off into the air towards his apartment.
When he got inside, he went to the fridge first. He started nibbling on a carrot while he wrote out the note for his room-mate.

Hey, I'm the other guy who lives here. Don't touch the ham. That's my lunch.
That said, I'll be at training ground 26 if you really need to get a hold of me. Don't come by though 'cause I'll be sparring and pointy things will be flying all over the place.

Rock on, Roque...

P.S: Seriously, don't touch that ham.

Roque stuck the note to the fridge with a magnet and started another carrot as he headed for his room. He rifled around in the mess that served as his floor looking for something he wanted to bring. He found it under his dresser, an old leather bound book. He blew the dust off and read the title to make sure it was the right book.
"A comprehensive log of medical techniques." He said to himself. His father had given him that book in hopes that Roque would follow in his foot steps. Roques' father was a warden for a prison in Iwagakure, and specialized in torture methodology. The book was the log that he kept of the surgeries and medical jutsus that he had performed in trying to keep his prisoners alive for more questioning. Eventually he gave up the torture section and just became a medic because of his ethics and some new laws that soon followed. Roque had never been very interested in medicine, opting more for construction as a possible future field after being a ninja. Roque figured that Kinu may get some use out of it though.
Roque popped out of the ground in training ground 26. He found himself in a lush valley filled with brightly coloured flowers. There was a small river that flowed a good twenty meters away. It was shallow, but Roque kept his distance. He wasn't a fan of water in large quantities, probably from Kiesels' less than favourable feelings toward water in general.

Again, Ran felt a little uncomfortable. Not only was one of her two team-mates standing close to her, but both. She had a rather wide space bubble. Stepping back a little, she felt slightly better. It showed as she payed more of an attentive attention to Yuki, and less of a partially distracted attention. She gave partial glances to each of the gennin near her, for a few moments, before, however.

Batafurai didn't seem concerned, as she was very care-free and nothing short of hyper-active. She had vaguely seen some change in emotion as Isaaku approached the group, and wondered what it was. Regardless, she was unused to some of their behaviors. Even when she was in the academy, not many people payed attention to her. The children took after their parents, and the Kaguya had become to her village, like Gaara and Naruto to their villages, reguardless of the fact that she was not the container of a demon.

Growing up differently, though, she simply learned what was expected of her, and worked to meet that quota, lest she upset someone. That was never pleasant.

"What... will we be doing next, sensei?" Ran asked quietly, mind soon directing back to the present time.
