For most dinosaurs, the "-saurus" name is the only name they're known by.

Fox Grey Dragon I'll say yes, provided the animal has a common name, and you aren't using it's latin name. I'll need to be able to do a google search on the name you give me, and turn up information on that creature. When asked if extinct animals/creatures can be used. Edit - I might have interpreted that wrong though.

Kay. 'Lamprey' are a kind of jawless 'fish', it should pop up, I know there was a Wikipedia article on it...
