The angel listened to her speak again. How she was surprised that Geoff has said yes, and how even after saying yes, she still tried to confirm it again.
"Yes, Yes its Fi-" Before the Lance weilder finished his sentence he heard Artemis again.
"Wait Girl fri-, No No No, You got it all wrong. I followed her through a portal, and wound up at her home. And since then, we have been traveling together. Although, we haven't been traveling for long. We came rom her Realm to.." Geoff paused. "Here!" The Angel said laughing.

Artemis smiled, giggled even at the rushed slur of words coming from his mouth in objection to her accusation about the woman he was travelling with. However, this caused a wave of relief to cast over her, which baffled her beyond all reasoning.
"Oh.. Okay!" She chimned lightly, the same friendly smile on her face. It really was amusing to see his reaction. It was like a summary of a book wrapped up into one or two breif sentences, only it was his life stoey-- Well, not so much life, but his expierences drom the last few days she thought.
"So... You hardly know her then?" Artemis replied through curiosity, her emerald eyes set gently on his face, patiently awaiting a response.

A laugh escaped his mouth as he began to speak. "Right. I barely know her. His blue eyes stared into hers as he smiled nd kept talking. "I wound up in her realm and now were looking for Durithills weapons." The angel's eyes widened. "I mean, were traveling through the hills with our weapons." What did he just do? Now she was going to start asking questions.
Unless she already knew about the weapons. And if that was the case, Then Geoff was in the clear, but if not. Artemis was bound to ask questions, and the Lance weilder would answer.

"Really now?" Artemis replied rather bluntly, a thin eyebrow quirking up curiously. She heard of these weapons, what they were said to do, and was told to stay fromt them, so she did just that.
"You can tell me the truth you know, it's not like I'm going to kill you to have one of those thigs." The archer said with a light laugh. It was almost like she was being sarcastic, for, many people would. Her feet shifted below her, almost showing that she was uncomfortable to where this conversation was leading, however, her facial expressions and actions said otherwise.
"No each his own I suppose, only be alert-- I'm sure you know that though, right? Those artifacts only belong to their rightful owner, in anyone else's hands, they only cause trouble... So I'm guessing that's what you came for in the Fire Realm then eh?" She seemed to piece it all together perfectly. as if she knew what was going on the entire time.
A shy smile cracked the faux serious expression she wore as she averted her eyes from the lance-weilder's impenitrable stare. He was different, really, the kind of different that made her her smile-- they weren't one of those false, forced grins, they were genuine. It was surprising... She knew him for only how long? A few minutes at most, and she could recognized that much about the man.
"At any rate... Where's your-- Er... Travellng partner?" And with that, another giggle escaped her lips.

"Well if you would've seen the king with that Katana in his hand." The Angel laughed. "It changes people. But it may not be all for bad. I mean, That was one person, maybe its power doesn't consume everyone."
From what he knew of Artemis, The Lance weilder knew that she meant no trouble, so he figured he would just keep talking.
"That is indeed the reason we came here, for the Ancient Weapon." Shifting conversation ever so fast, he smiled.
"Well She was right behind me."

"You promised to get me a fire lizard." Raithill reminded his mother. Raithill was still reeling a bit from the fight with the king. That man had been a bit scary, especially after he started hurling spells. It'd taken a lot of energy to deflect that one spell. If what they were saying about those artifacts was true, then its no wonder he'd had trouble. Raithill glanced nervously at the sword hanging from his mother's side. Now we was starting to worry about her. That king had said the sword took him over, so was it going to take over his mother as well? Raithill certainly hoped not.

Raine looked down at her son with a bit of a smile, in which was followed by a nod and in turn, her standing upright.
"That means we should go home then? We wouldn't want to carry him around, would we?" Taking Raithill's hand gently, Shiero led her son from the impenitrable walls of the castle and out into the crowd. Hopefully Geoff hasn't run off too far...
"Was," she reminded,
"Past tense. Lets go find her. You have the katana you say? I'm guessing it's in her possesion, right? Nothing good comes out of those... I've heard they drive people to their very limits and bring out hidden or unknown qualities within them. So basically, for her safety and her son's... Not to mention yours, look out for her. And be patient" Artemis grinned before shifting her eyes from him in search of her once again.
"Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. That's a little something I live by."

As the warrior turned and walked beside Artemis, he listened to her warnings. "Yes, She has it. As of right now I don't trust myself with it." Changing his emotion, changing the look of seriousness on his face, he smiled. "She can't be to far, after all, she still does have to buy a Lizard."
What the Archer said really stuck with Geoff. All her words imbeded in his mind.
Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.

((And yet, he takes no notice of the king's "Watch your allies", which is essentially the same thing, lol.))
"It could be a her." Raithill pointed out, pointing at his mother to further illustrate his point. "But I wouldn't mind carrying it around. It could ride in my pocket. Please, mommy?" he pleading, going with the puppy dog eyes again.

"Okay, her." Raine corrected herself with a grin.
"Alright sweetie, let's go get.. it." Shiero said lightly, moving swiftly through the crowd towards the vendor where the lizards were being sold.
"Go ahead sweetheart, pick which one you want."
"She is a friend, is she not? Though with those weapons.. She'd be more of an enemy then anything.." The conversation was abruptly shifted.
"A lizard?" Artemis replied with confusion.
"What would she want a lizard for?" She asked with a quirked brow, eyes drifting over to Geoff on her right. What use would a lizard be to her?
"Speaking of which.. Is that her over there?"

Everyone was saying the same things. Watch your allies, keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. Was it all because of these ancient items? Of course it was. They were evil, or so everyone said.
"Oh Her son wanted one. And begged, So she is going to buy one for him." Geoff smiled.
"Oh yea, thats her!" The Lance weilder said, walking in Raine's direction.

[Yanno why he took no notice of the king? 'Cause Artemis is hotter. :]]
"Oh, I see, I see... An odd request, I must say." The archer responded lightly, that genuine, pretty smile remaining on her features. Her footsteps halted. Raine was dealing with a purchase, something she could tend to on her own, something that was more personal.. Artemis decided to hang back and wait 'till she was done.
"So.. Where are you-- er.. We going next?"

"Well thats Raithill for you." The angel said smiling. It was nice to see that Raine didn't try to get out of buying the Lizard. He made a promise and kept it.
"I think were heading to the mind realm next. Its our only clue to where the next ancient item is." The Warrior said smiling.

((You don't know that, lol. For all you know, the king could be one of those guys that's so drop-dead sexy that even other guys think he's hot, lol.))
"Hmmm..." Raithill said, leaning slightly so he was eye level with the cage. The shopkeeper, a little overweight man, watched with a smile as the child inspected all the lizards as if this was the single most important decision of his life. "I want... that one." he said, simultaneously pointing at the lizard and sticking his finger in the cage. The chosen lizard, about six inches long with a beautiful red, yellow, and orange patterned skin, quickly scurried over to Raithill's figner and curled around it. The shopkeeper laughed jovially. "Looks like she wants you too." he said, opening the cage and getting the lizard out for Raithill. "How do you know she's girl?" Raithill asked curiously, looking up at the man. "Well you see those two yellow spots there?" he replied, leaning over and pointing to the lizard's tail. "The men ain't got those." "Oh." Miradil said simply, inspecting the lizard's tail now. The shopkeeper laughed merrily again and turned to Raine. "I suppose you're his mother? That'll be two gold peices."

[s**t eh? Durithill.. Look out, you might lose Raine! ;]]
Looking down at the lizard in which crawled onto her son's finger, Shiero simply shook her head in disbelief. She was curious what her son was so interested in by these creatures, but he was a boy... There was no explaining his curiosity.
"That I am." Raine replied with a soft laugh before retrieving the required amount of currancy from a small satchel tucked beneath her belt. Dropping the gold pieces into the man's hand, she glanced down at her son who seemed to be content.
"Mommy's little angel, what can you expect? I was daddy's little girl, I know what it's like." Artemis admitted, flashing a wide grin before jumping up and waving her arms through the air to grab their attention.
"Heeeeeeey!" The archer blurted, bouncing in the spot. Various people looked at her with curiosity, while others rolled their eyes at her childish stupidity. Artemis giggled like a little school girl, as if she was just dared some corny dare by a friend and feeling brave enough to do it. It was that sort of good, accomplished feeling she had that could be told and laughed at later.
