Pulling herself out from under the table, Diana stumbled to her feet and started coughing to try and clear the bad taste from her mouth and throat. That would be leaving a mark for the next few days...maybe the cook would be nice enough to let her have a few can of tomato juice the next time she hit the showers?

"Some *cough* trainer I am. I shoulda known not to do that....."

Grabbing her parasol from nearby, she turned and watched as the skunk pokemon ran straight into the middle of the group. Huffing, she glared at the pokemon; chaos was her job! No pokemon was going to do it infront of her and get away with it! Grabbing the table cloth, Diana raced after the purple pokemon into the crowd; jumping, she attempted to tackle and cover the pokemon before it got away.

The Stunky wove through the crowds, dodging between and under both Pokemon and human feet. The crazy human was close behind, though the Pokemon still trailed lingering stench as it scurried across the floor in a near panic. Why in the world had this seemed like such a good idea before?!?

Meanwhile, the return of the lights seemed to have irritated another figure. The sound of leathery wings sounded on the air again, along with a series of irate chatters and squeaks. Swooping down towards the group of Pokemon and humans, the earlier-shrieker made another dramatic entrance before wheeling back towards the ceiling where they could get a better look at their 'attacker.'

Fenrir shrugged. "Beats me. It was some...purple and beige-looking Pokemon. Smelled pretty nasty. I think his gassed some other girl that decided to check things out too..." he explained. Poor, poor girl. She'd probably smell quite interesting for a few days...

Then, as the Stunky darted out of the table and towards the party, Fenrir pointed frantically.. "Ah, that's what it was!" he remarked, gesturing to the odoriferous little fellow. "Not sure what it's called, though..."

He watched the other girl grab the large cloth of the table, upsetting the bowls of candy and shard from the punch. He jerked his foot away as a bowl clattered to the ground inches away. Maybe it was her Pokemon? She seemed gung-ho on getting it. But maybe she was just trying to corral it before anyone else got gassed- that made sense too!

"Hang on, I'mma go help that girl round that pest up and make sure it doesn't cause anymore trouble." he said to Kira. "You can stay here...it'd be awful for a pretty lady like you to get gassed!" he laughed. "Don't worry, party-goers, you let the great Purple Knight handle this!" he called, to anyone who was listening.

He grabbed some candy and darted towards the action. He kept a wide distance, trying not to scare the little fellow. He flanked it, moving to the side away from it's tail, which had seemed to be the source of the stench.

It wove away from the cloth and the girl, so he circled wide around the room, trying to get in front of it. Maybe if it saw him, it'd be less startled. Once he got close enough, he dropped to a squat and clicked his tongue, whistling a bit to try get it's attention. He held some candy out coaxingly, wiggling it and making noises towards the Stunky, trying to get it away from the crowds so it wouldn't cause any trouble...or get hurt by startled guests!

All this activity was not the way to calm an easily agitated Typhlosion. In fact, it did the exact opposite. By now Quil had reared up to stand on his powerful hind legs, and was looking quite ready to broil anyone who was foolish enough to make sharp movements around him. All his (admittedly coarse) fur was bristling with confused irritation, and the flames that ringed his shoulders looked uncommonly hot.

The scream did not help.

Slowly, Quil began edging towards the 'surprise guests', determined to get to the bottom of this invasion.

Fenrir dropped the candy in surprise, the chocolate clattering against the floor as the Pokemon darted towards him. Above him, some Zubats chattered and zipped around. Ah, he was right...those were Zubats! The Typhlosion seemed riled, he noted...probably due to the sudden changes in environment and the general chaos. He looked across the room for Kira, finally spotting her heading out the door. Possibly to change, possibly to go to her room to hide from the craziness. Ah well, if he didn't see her again tonight, than he'd have to ask Hayden where her room was so he could hang out with her some time. She seemed nice enough, and fun!

He looked back, ready to deal with the matter at hand now. The Pokemon. He kept low to the ground and moved slowly, so as to seem non-threatening and unobtrusive. It had worked many times out in the wild before when dealing with wild Pokemon...it was just a matter of not scaring them. If they attacked, it was mostly your fault for scaring them or making them angry, after all. They didn't attack for no reason, after all. or at least...that was Fenrir's theory.

"Hey little fella...hey." he said in a soft voice, trying not to scare the stinky little bugger. "It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you. I'll keep you out of the way of the bigger Pokemon and the feet of all the people..." he said coaxingly.

He turned his body slowly to face the Pokemon, looking down at it, but keeping a few feet away so as not to crowd it. "Jus' what are you...? I don't think I've seen one of you before..." he murmured curiously, though it was more to himself than anything. For a rank little fella...this guy (or girl, he wasn't sure which) wasn't so bad. Probably just scared... Then Fenrir blinked suddenly. "Oh, we haven't been introduced, have we? I'm Fenrir!" he chirped happily, not caring that he was talking to a Pokemon...

Blinking in momentary puzzlement, the Stunky eyed Fenrir oddly. It wasn't that the Pokemon didn't understand what the human was saying...more that...wasn't it an odd thing for a human to say? And a strange way to behave? It was compared to the usual humans associated with this horrible place.

As it was, the Stunky had no idea why the human was acting like this...but it was a welcome change to all the shouting and running earlier. Slowly, it crept closer, head still tilted as it watched him carefully.

"SCREEEE!" The Zubat panicked, wings flapping and flailing wildly as the strange object suddenly appeared in the echolocation image it called 'sight.' Nearly tangled in the flowers, the Pokemon was in full fear mode now, brought on by confusion, and now thinking of nothing more than to get back into the air away from this 'thing' again.

Fenrir smiled as the Stunky moved closer. Ah, maybe it was friendly after all! He had a feeling it had just been scared. He just wanted to calm it down so it wouldn't spray again. Plus, he felt bad for the Pokemon being so stressed like this! He could only work on one tweaked Pokemon at a time though, but this seemed as good a place as any to start.

"It's kind of crazy around here, huh?" he remarked, looking around. Holding a conversation with a Pokemon was not uncommon for this trainer. He'd done it many times before with his own team... "I don't think you should have to worry about things, though. The people here...they're loud, but I think they're just startled. It's been a weird party for us too. We don't want to hurt you at all." he laughed. "Or at least...I don't."

He looked over his shoulder, noticing Kira grappling with a Pokemon problem of her own. A little Zubat had gotten ensnared in her bouquet, it seemed. Hopefully she could handle things.

"I think everyone is on edge..." he murmured. He rummaged in his pocket and fished out some candy, offering it to the Pokemon. "Not sure if you like this, but I find it's sweet and good. One probably won't hurt you...it may even make you feel better." he grinned impishly. If there was a problem candy couldn't solve...Fenrir didn't want to hear it.

Tara blinked. Turn your back for a second, and pokemon invade the room. Oh, great. She peered over at Fenrir and the two pokemon around him. Arching a brow she leaned an elbow onto the the table. They didn't seem to be hostile little things...

And there went her amusement for the night.

Though, she was still curious as to how, and why, the pokemon came in here...

"This is craziness" She gave a sigh, half from confusion, and half from... well, something else.
