((Hello! I'm one of those that Gemmetra was contacting, sorry about the wait >.< Homework is evil... stare And Corbin, I'll take anything, although I think the dark elf would be cool ^^))
Isolde swung from her legs upside down from a branch in her favorite tree, the smell of the stew waking her from her nap. She grabbed the branch and swung down, landing nimbly on her feet. She stretched her stiff muscles, sleeping in trees was not comfortable, and sniffed again. The aroma of freshly cooked beef stew and pizza wafted toward her, and her stomach grumbled in hunger. Smiling, she patted her stomach and jogged toward the dining room, eager to eat.
A few minutes later, Isolde had her pizza and a small bowl of leftover stew, and went to sit on the porch steps. Her braid swaying gently behind her, she plopped down on the stairs and dug in, the hearty stew warming her and the pizza a special treat. Soon, she had eaten every crumb and licked her bowl clean, and leaned back on her elbows gazing at the stars. She traced several constellations with her finger, then smiled at the full moon.

Cosmo thought he heard voices. 'Huh? Hello?' There was no answer, so Cosmo began talking to himself. 'Hi!' 'How are you today, Cosmo?' 'Oh, I'm fine thank you. What about you Cosmo?' 'I'm good too thanks!' 'What do you think is going on outside this box?' 'I dooooooon't know!' 'I want candy!'

Ronin made a low growl from inside his prison. He was getting very impatient. He had had enough waiting...plus he was running out devious things to think about. He had heard sounds that had seemed to be coming from outside the box. Maybe something would finally be happening. Finally!

Shatter smiled warmly at the boy, "My name is Shatter, I'm an aspiring magician," he introduced. He held out the box in front of him, and continued, "I wanted to try some new tricks, and thought this was a good place to start," he opened the box's lid for the boy to see the glowing figurines, "And I found these in my attic, and have no real use for them. Do you suppose it would be alright to give them to you children, and perhaps try out some magic?"

((It should be ok, I double checked my homework assignment sheet. Other than a novel we have to read and some math every night, I should be relatively lighter than the past week. This week was a pain >.<))
Isolde saw two boys talking to a business man who seemed to have a box of some sort. Suspicious, and a little curious, she walked up and heard something about magic.
Magic, huh? Well, can't hurt to watch a few little tricks. She stood behind another orphan, Merek she thought, and watched for the man to begin his tricks.
The box was opened, and she was dazzled by the beautiful figurines inside that looked like they were made of some strange glowing glass...The light was soft, but it twinkled over their facets and shone proudly over the expert craftsmanship. One in particular caught her eye. A male figurine with long pointed ears was in the corner, the armor and weapons declaring him a warrior of some kind. She lifted her hand, wanting to touch it, but she stopped herself in time.

Chey could feel conciousness slowly coming back. The box had stopped jostling about, and now her could hear. Then, slowly, the interior was flooded with light and the stars -- the beautiful, almost forgotten stars -- were visible. Then, the faces of three humans, a girl and two boys, were in his line of vision.
No..Surely, Shatter would not do that to them again! Not after the disaster some of them had had last time...Oh, please, if he had to be chosen, let him have a kind master this time...He wasn't sure if he could survive a master who only had evil deeds to be done.

Shatter smirked slightly when the girl almost reached out to touch one of the figures, "You'll get one, don't worry," his smirk turned to a friendly grin, "But believe me when I say this, you don't want to touch them just yet."
His eyes drifted up to one of the maids who was watching him suspiciously. He smiled, and waved. The woman just nodded slowly, having heard him talking, signaling he could come it. He'd have to keep her and the other adults out of the way when it came time.

Ben sighed. He was getting tired of waiting for the boy to give him an answer. "We were playing," Ben lied. he hated lying. But he wanted to find that animal and standing here wasn't getting him anywhere.
"Alright..." the maid paused, "Just play nice , ok?" she said and went back to her duties.
Ben glared at the boy. "You better give the cat back to Kiyoko, or you'll regret it." He knew he didn't have anything to back up his threat. But he was angry...
Ben made his way to find Kiyoko and Momo, but on his way he passed by the front door. There were a couple of people standing there...with an older man. Ben got closer to see what was going on.
