((Bunny. :3 ))

They had an understanding, then -- or at least Hunter thought so. Alex might just leave for the hell of it... Though, really, he wasn't so sure how he was going to pull that off just yet if he indeed decided to do so. It was far easier when the other was not a magic user -- magic complicated the whole thing and made it more difficult to act against the other's will.... but that was also part of the fun. One thing was for certain, though -- whether or not Alex actually went through with it and slept with Hunter, he would leave quickly after. Alex almost never stayed the whole night through, no matter how skilled (in more ways than one) or how dangerous his target.

But the kiss was nice. Golden eyes fell shut after a moment, the crimson lashes brushing lightly against the other's skin. The mingling scents of cinnamin and peppermint had spread through the room, now becoming the predominent aroma. Wherever Alex went, he always left his distictly sweet and enticing scent.

Lips moved against lips and it was quite evident that Alex was more than just a good kisser. He had a natural knack for that sort of thing and had been taught by the best -- after all, it was an essencial part of his job. If he couldn't offer anything desireable to his targets then he was as good as useless. Pale arms slipped up slowly to circle loosely around the other's neck as Alex felt his back pressed gently into the wall.
PostPosted: Mon Nov 12, 2007 3:38 pm

{*Hop, hop*}

Hunter focused on the sweet lips, reminded of the peppermint cake and spice. He was content with the thought of working for the full deal, weather or not it was true; he liked to think it was. His lips left Alex's and he gave a small playful smile before kissing his jaw and leading a trail to behind the young man's ear. He enjoyed teasing as well, and if was definitely time to tease after the show Alex put on.

Being half lemur he was very keen to every body movement, and from his beast's point of view, Alex made all the signs that he wanted sex as well. So he couldn't see a reason that Alex would leave in his mind. even he wasn't so much of a trickster as to leave someone in the middle of something intimate.

His tail slipped down more, twisting around Alex's legs and dragging up, stroking his leg, taking in the feel. His tail had some muscle behind it so if it wanted to it could probably lift Alex's leg off the ground, but he wasn't ready to do that yet. His hands concentrated on Alex's middle, sliding up and down his chest and fingers trailing down his sides and hips, memorizing every inch.

As the other's lips moved away from his own, teasing gently at the pale, sensitive flesh behind Alex's ear, he tilted his head slightly to the side and back, allowing the other to better reach. Things were going easily, softly, smoothly for the moment and he didn't want to distrupt that natural rhythm. Hunter's hand had begun to search his body, examening the teenage beauty as best he could.

And yet the body that Hunter's fingers and hands had begun to memorize could so very easily change. If the man ever saw him again, Alex could have completely changed to the point where his body was no longer recognizable under the other's finger tips. It was easy as the flip of a coin for the redheaded teen -- a moment was all it took for him to completely rework his physical properties and become someone entirely unrecogniseable. Pale, delicate features could easily morph into tanned, hardened muscle -- not that Alex very often undertook such appearances. He much preferred ones more similar to his own.

((Sorry it's a bit short. I'm working on homework. D:
PostPosted: Mon Nov 12, 2007 4:32 pm

Hunter eagerly sucked a patch of skin behind Alex's ear and then he gave a gentle bite, moving down and kissing Alex's neck and throat. His fingers slid under Alex's shirt in the back, feeling more of the young man's skin, then a hand slid down his spine, enjoying the smooth and soft texture.

His tail was less innocent, sliding up and wigging its way into the pants from the top, just the tip to tease the youth's skin under the tight pants, curling at his hip.

Alex's shirt didn't stay on too much longer after that, Hunter slipped that off with his hands. He wanted to take his time, but he wouldn't take forever. He kissed Alex's collar bone as soon as the shirt was off.

"Very much," and by the tone of West's voice, including his smile, Vaughn could tell he was pleased. "Kitty's shouldn't be forced to hide their claws. That's part of the reason we're members of the House of Earth." Then he added, almost as an after thought, "But I do have to say you look very good as a girl."

Vaughn scowled. The older Earth member had an annoying habit of talking down to him, like he was some child who was still too young to know about how the world was supposed to work. You would think he would be use to it by now, though. West had always treated him like this and it didn't matter if he was ten or nineteen years old. From the moment he took Vaughn under his wing he had been riding his a** ( figuratively speaking, of course ) so hard that Vaughn wanted to scream in the indignity of it all. West had never been so hard on Juno, or Mara, or even Gabriel, who had always been a little strange and needed a firmer hand then most to keep him in line.

At the same time, however, Vaughn had to admit that the other's were better at combat, reconnaissance, killing - just about everything West taught them really. That was probably why they had always been given the more dangerous, ground-breaking assignments and he was stuck selling cloth, or fixing people's shoes for weeks on end without any word about the war. It was probably why they were all dead now too.

"So, is there something on your mind that you wanted to talk about?" West asked, interrupting Vaughn's train of thought. "You've been glaring at me for ten minutes now."

He sighed, closing his eyes, now a deep ocean blue. However, no matter how much he disagreed with him, no matter how angry he made him, West was still his Master and he was bound by that relationship.

"Yeah, I do," Vaughn replied slowly, opening his eyes again, blue against gray. He told West everything, from the time he saw Calypso and the perverted half-breed in front of the fabric stand to the a**-groping to the kiss he planted on the Dragon's cheek before he left. It didn't make him feel any better, if anything it only made the flame in the hearth burn brighter then ever, but it at least took some of the weight off of his shoulders by telling him.

There was a long pause, as if the white-haired male didn't know quite what to say. It was a lot to take in, especially since Vaughn had lived to tell the tale. From what West had heard about Dragon House's second in command, Calypso was a true cold-blooded killer. His victims were killed quick and effectively, as if they didn't realize they were dead until after they hit the floor. The only thing that came close to it were the end results of assignments the higher ups had given to Gabriel. And his blood had given him an innate advantage; West had no idea how Calypso could do what he did.

"Interesting," West said finally. "To think you were sitting down having tea with Dragon's top assassin and were able to walk away unscathed. I can hardly believe it."

"I don't think he knew I wasn't a chick. At least not conclusively," Vaughn added as he remembered the slightly odd, calculating glances he received at the tea shop. He shouldn't have been so quick to handle the tea pot, but there were plenty of explanations as to why he was able to touch something so hot, diluted or suppressed magical ability for one. It wasn't entirely impossible for such things to appear in humans from time to time. And, if anything, Vaughn managed to put some suspicion on the House of Phoenix; who else first came to mind when someone mentions fire magic?

"Maybe not, but he's probably suspicious," West replied, the side of his finger pressed against his lips in thought. "Well, it looks like you were born under a lucky star, Vaughn."

"That's it?" Vaughn asked, folding his arms across his chest and cocking his head to one side. "Aren't you going to punish me or something?"

"What for?" And West's voice took on a rare curious tone that Vaughn could tell was genuine.

"For not killing him while I had the chance..."

West chuckled and the sound made the fire flare, lashing out from it's home in the fireplace; the bed sheets were singed from where the flames had licked them. "Oh please, Vaughn" he said, "You and I both know you couldn't kill a fly, let alone a seasoned professional. Calypso would have dropped what was left of you off in a doggy bag on the House of Earth's doorstep. No, no. I have something else in mind for you."

"What's that?" Vaughn asked though clenched teeth. He might not have the experience ( or the guts ), but West didn't have to go and insult him like that. The thought of that little brat tearing him limb from limb was enough to make him want to scream.

"I have a new assignment for you," West grinned, "From this moment on you have been assigned to spy on the House of Dragon's Calypso and find out if he truly is the assassin he is rumoured to be. In the name of the House of Earth you will befriend him disguised as the woman Celia, earn his trust and report any useful information you receive back to me. This is non-negotiable,' he added as he saw Vaughn about to interject. "You're always complaining about how you don't get any high-rank missions, well, now's your chance to prove yourself. You will do this, Vaughn, or die trying. Got it? Good. I'll keep in touch."

And without another word West had vanished, leaving Vaughn glaring viciously at his own reflection.

But then, it wasn't quite as abnormal as it all seemed -- after all, Calypso was an Ice user and thus had a strong tollerance for the cold. And yet, it wasn't likely that other Ice users, even strong ones, would be willing to withstand such temperatures without reason for it could do even them harm. All sense of time had passed for the ivory-haired youth -- he sat there, completely broken down. At least two hours had passed by the time he finally stirred.

It started slowly. Those dark orbs had been staring blankly, unfocused, at the water's surface before him, but those same near-black eyes soon focused, the pupils dilating slightly, as he straightened up. It seemed almost as if he were comming out of a day dream. His eyes traveled slowly down his own form, focusing particularly on his pale forearms and calves. They were... they were normal. That was... good. Very good. An intense wave of relief broke over the young assasin, though all his expression showed was a faint, eased smile. He looked... younger, almost normal, like that despite his abnormally pale features. Refined as he was, when his expression was at ease like that... he was soft, almost childlike. It was such a dramatic change from his empty expression.....

Calypso slowly eased his legs out of the water and though he did not shiver he ran his slender, pale hands slowly down the length of each calf, as if making sure he could still feel the touch. In the time it took him to stand up the water had already vanished -- not evaporating into the air as it would on most people, but instead soaking in through his skin -- and he then rolled down his pants.

The water, too, had calmed. Over all, it was a less disturbing scene. The air was still abnormally cold, but... it didn't seem at all threatening. Peace pervaded after all, pushing back the violent, whirling emotions that caused Calypso to such emptiness.

It wasn't long before the teen found himself back in town. He had left his cloak back in his room -- he had only worn it before because his previous job had taken place outside the city and had therefor required travel. He wasn't interested in shops this time, though -- his feet had taken him away from the center of the city and off to a park. It was already quite dark by now, but people remained in plenty. He followed his feet down pathways, through trails in the park... anything he could occupy his body with without having to make more than a minimal usage of his mind. It was all for the peace of movement.

((So, basically, when Calyboi doesn't have an assignment, he spends his time distracting himself from the things that trouble him. 8D;; <333 ))

[[I'm going to assume that a decent amount of time has passed, okay? Say about a week or so?]]

Vaughn sighed heavily; only one week had past since his new had began and already he was sick of it. How women could stand wearing heels every day, he would never know. He had to switch to flats after only two days, his feet were hurting so much. And don't even get him started on the clothes. Maybe it was because his breasts were just strap ons, realistic ones mind you but fake nonetheless, but the bra he was wearing was so itchy it was all he could do to stop scratching himself in public. When this was all over, he swore to himself that he would never put on a dress again.

And to make matters worse, Vaughn was no closer to his objective then the day it was assigned to him. Calypso was no where to be found! Of course, he didn't expect to walk by the Lizard's prince sitting and sipping chamomile tea at a main street cafe. The kid was as much of a target as anyone else in this war as the rest of them, perhaps more considering his position, but he didn't expect it to be this impossible!

"Guys," he said, looking up to the sky as if expecting to see his friend's faces reflected heavens, "if you can hear me up there help me out. I don't know what I'm doing." He waited for a moment, but the only sound was the rustling of tree branches caught in the wind.

Sighing, Vaughn lowered his gaze. He didn't know what he had been expecting to happen. It's not like the dead can speak for themselves. Plunging his hands deep into the pockets of his dress, Vaughn continued down the path. It was late, the sun had set long ago covering Lapis in a dark shroud. Not the ideal place for a young "lady" to be walking, but crossing through the park cut down the time it took to get home by a good twenty minutes. Besides, as far as Vaughn was concerned he didn't have anything to worry about. He wasn't the weak little girl he appeared to be.

((Alright, that's fine. I'll have Cal go to the park again, since that was last week when he was there.... 8D;; ))

The men were dead. It was simple enough -- they had died and Calypso had killed them and... it was normal. It was almost scary how normal it was, how Calypso's hands no longer shook like they had the first time when his brother had.... But that had been then. That wasn't now and such thought were... pointless. Dark eyes glanced around the room, a small frown forming on the lips that stood below. Brother... wouldn't be pleased. It wasn't a clean job this time -- the men had given him some small trouble, having combined Fire and Earth magic. If he used Water, they used Earth; Ice, then Fire. It wasn't that the assignment had been hard -- he had killed them quite easily, after all -- it had just been... troublesome. Though Calypso was an assasin, he had never much liked the smell of blood. It sent... odd pulses through his body, making him feel not quite... himself. And that scared him, though he would never admit it. The men now lay frozen, the blood and everything iced over so that Cal would not have to smell it.... There had been blood on the walls and... He shivered slightly, nostrils dilating at the scent. He stood -- silent and perfectly still -- for several moments before he finally turned over. Once he exited the room, he paused a moment, focusing his will so that the walls completely iced over, creating a strong barrier for any who chose to check inside. He didn't think any would. The men had been notified, likely by some superior, that they were in danger and had been hiding out.... It hadn't done them any good -- they had probably done it to be... richeous or whatever and "spare their families." It was pure cowardice, as far as Calypso was concerned -- and excuse to run away. He had never killed a child or a family simply for their affiliation... he had never killed a child... thankfully. The other Houses should have noticed that pattern by now, his brother said, and Calypso knew that as far as his brother was concerned it was a weakness, but... he couldn't be that heartless. He couldn't, for all the bad things he had done.

Pale arms stretched out before dark eyes. They were... they were doing it again, if only a little bit.... It had to be the smell of blood that was awakening his own Blood. It was happening much more frequently now and he hated it -- he hated the feeling that he was losing himself. To any outsider, Calypso would look no different than usual -- silent and expressionless and almost dead -- but inside... he was a mess. He couldn't control the small prickles of fear that ate at his heart every time he felt himself drifting away and... and... he shouldn't be thinking about that. Brother had told him not to.....

He sighed slightly, dark eyes lowering as he quickly returned to the city main. The House of Earth would eventually find their two dead comrades -- a man who had been using hypnosis in an attempt to spy on the Dragon and another who had, for the longest time, slowly been picking off their members as well as, unlike Calypso, their families. Many of the Dragon's children had been murdered in the past couple months because of that man....

The bleach-haired teen found that his feet had taken him back to the park. It always.... calmed him, made him feel.... more himself. He could be quiet and unoticable there, lose himself in the trees... find a place to sit quietly and... not think -- a place where his mind could go blank and he could ignore everything that was causing those small tremers in his hands and...... He was a mess, he knew it. He just needed to get away.

And so he entered the darkness of the forest, silent footfalls taking him to a small, secluded area where, judging that it was highly unlikely for people to pass by, he finally sat down, back leaning against a tree, his dark eyes closing. He looked oddly... peaceful -- vulnerable, even -- like that. Of course, he wasn't the Dragon's top assasin for nothing -- the smallest hint of threat and he would look not nearly so soft. But, for the moment, he looked like any boy, save the color of his hair and the small markings below each eye.

[[Sorry it took me so long to reply. I've been having a hard time at work lately. =___= I'm practically the living dead when I get home.]]

Vaughn walked down the path, eyes trained to the ground, with only the sound of his women's heels for company. Thoughts of his long departed friends still lingered in the forefront of his mind and he deliberately walked slowly, as if by dragging his feet he would be allowed to be in their presence for a few minutes longer. It was a depressing thought, but memories of his friends always made him think that way. He couldn't help himself.

A sudden wind, strong and cold, threw Vaughn off kilter. Even though no one was there to see, none that he knew of at least, both of his hands went up to make certain his wig didn't fly off, but the wind had other targets. The instant his arms were raised, the large shawl wrapped snuggly around his shoulders became caught in the wind and before Vaughn could do anything, it disappeared over the tree tops.

"You've got to be kidding me," Vaughn growled quietly beneath his breath, glaring at the spot above him where his shawl had vanished.

The shawl had been carried off the trail, into a section of trees that towered over the rest. He sighed; it was pointless to take the short-cut through the park if snags like this kept popping up. It didn't matter if they were self-inflicted or unexpected, by the time he finally got home it would have been quicker to go around the park.

Vaughn hugged himself, shivering slightly as another breath of cold air washed over him, and headed off the path; whether it was because he was a fire-user or not, he wasn't fond of the cold, so the sooner he retrieved his shawl the sooner he could get warm.

It was dark, almost black, when he walked beneath the canopy of the trees, but it was hardly an issue. Hidden behind the green contacts his pupils dilated, adjusting to the darkness much like a cats', making it much easier to see where he was going. Of course, that didn't mean he was actually paying attention to his surroundings as well as he should have been. Otherwise he might have noticed that he wasn't the only person in this section of the park.

((Eh, don't worry. Life's been eating at me as well. 8D;; ))

The wind had picked up; it was getting colder. Calypso didn't mind that, though. He was more than used to the cold that chilled and tried to eat away at his bones. There was nothing left for the cold to take -- not as far as Calypso was concerned, anyway. He was hardly anything more than bone, or so some of the oddly concerned women of his House would tell him. They would tell him to eat up, to get warm... and he did so, if for no reason more than to humor them.

But the wind was not enough to wake the teen, for he had fallen into a light slumber. What did waken him, though, was the sound of sudden footfalls. Nothing that was directed towards himself, at least as far as he could tell. At least, it didn't sounds as if anyone was directly approaching him....

Near-black eyes opened slowly, the green-blue hues surprisingly clear despite the ivory-haired teen's previous state of unconsciousness. There was something... in the air. Without a pause or even a thought, one pale porcelein hand raised and deftly caught whatever it was -- a shawl, it seemed. It was pure instinct, no more.

The footfalls grew nearer and the teen glanced up, the fabric held loosely in one hand. It was... that woman. The one he had scared -- the one he shouldn't have told his true name to. He would have to be more careful about that.... he didn't want people to be so... afraid of him unless it was neccessary. He didn't... like it.

"Is this yours...?" he asked, holding out the shawl.

Vaughn could almost hear his Master scolding him for his carelessness as he jumped. Not only did he not see the person who had chosen to speak without warning, but he hadn't even sensed his presence. He pressed his hand flat to his chest, heart beating like a drum and suddenly out of breath. If the person had been an enemy he would surely be dead.

Vaughn turned towards the voice and for a moment he thought he had spoken too soon. Green eyes widened slightly as they settled on the person he had been looking for. His target:

"Calypso?" Vaughn replied, his voice feminine once more, "Is that you?" He furrowed his brow, pretending to strain his eyes in order to make out the boy in the dark. The truth was he could see him just fine and he was kicking himself for not noticing him earlier.

'West will kick my a** if he finds out about this..'
PostPosted: Thu Nov 29, 2007 3:04 pm

((Grawr, life is eating at me! 8D;; ))

Something was... odd. The footfalls in the darkness had seemed so very clear and purposeful -- and they had obviously belonged to Celia -- and yet now the woman was squinting, seeming to be hard of sight in the darkness. A small frown settled slowly upon the teen's lips but in an instant it had vanished, to be replaced with his usual, curteous, but distant, smile. As for Calypso, he had no trouble whatsoever seeing in the dark -- one of the atributes of his Dragon blood. Of course, only those with extremely potent blood (like Calypso) had this ability...

"Yes, it is," he replied. He stood up slowly, bending down to brush off some of the leaves and dirt that had settled on his clothing, seeming to not at all mind getting his clothes a little dirty. He had been sleeping under a tree and several leaves had settled in his silky ivory locks, though he himself did not know this. "Here, I trust you will be needing this. It is quite cold out," he said kindly, offering up the shawl. Even then, though, he wasn't sure that such a thin scrap of material would be enough. "But even with it, won't you be cold?" he inquired. "If you don't mind, I'd very much like to lend you my jacket...." Always courteous, polite, and concerned. That was Calypso's "day" personality -- the self he showed under normal circumstances.

((Sorry for taking so long, I've been busy n' crap. 8D;;; ))

Alex was hot -- really, incredibly hot. Sure, his usual appearance was enticing, but without his shirt he was even more so. His pale skin was perfect, devoid of both blemishes and scars -- even the bruises from such activities as Hunter was currently acting upon his neck had vanished, all due to Alex's powers (though part of it was also Alex's natural health and near perfection). His shape was more than pleasing, as well -- he seemed sculpted to perfection, his limbs not devoid of muscle but not overly toned, either, his body slim but not so much that he appeared unhealthy. Alex was the sort of person that only existed in fantasies, except that he actually did exist.

And he wasn't objecting to Hunter's advances, either. He was having a little bit of trouble getting used to the tail -- he'd never been with someone with such a feature before, after all (or at least not someone who used his so boldly) -- but, at the same time, it rather excited him. It was the enticement of something new.

Golden eyes had closed, allowing himself to enjoy the treatment without having to see it. Things were usually much more enjoyable when left in the darkness (or at least Alex thought so).

((Ehe, sorry it sucks.... 8D;;;;; ))

"Yes," Vaughn said as he took an awkward step forward so he was now standing in front of the white-haired teen. He raised his hand and took the shawl between his fingers, "I wasn't paying attention and the wind got the better of me." He smiled, but it was a more appreciative gesture then he was actually feeling. Calypso could have killed him just now and he would have had no one to blame but himself. He would have to pay more attention to his surroundings from now on. The kid might not forgive such ignorance again.

As quickly as the smile had appeared it was wiped from his face, replaced with a genuinely confused look.

"But won't you be cold?" he asked. "I don't want you to catch a cold because of me."

Ah, there it was. For all that Vaugh was highly gifted with his ability to fake smiles, Calypso had a rather discerning eye. He had worked so long with those that had to deceive that his attention was quite surprisingly acute. But that expression of surprise and confusion -- that was real, not a put on. The ivory-haired teen offered the woman a small, kind and surprisingly bright smile, a small laugh forming and flowing easily from his lips. Calypso didn't laugh much, but when he did the sound was quite pleasing to the ears.

"No, I'll be fine. I'm the 'Prince of Ice', after all, aren't I?" he asked, smiling lightly as he made reference to one of the nicknames he had been dubbed from an early age. It really was true that the Houses controlled the country much as monarchies would -- save that there were three of them and they were all battling for supremacy. The upper members of the two older Houses, particularly, were reguarded almost as members of a royal line.

"Really, you are in much greater need of it than I."
