Lucas groaned. His body was telling him to just give into temptation and just return what she was doing to him, but his honor was a bit more steadfast.
"Please don't do that... Not that it doesn't feel good... But... I barely know you, and frankly I like to know girls before I bed them..." His voice was strained, and he pulled away from her and rolled over, druthering to be cold that to comprimse her honor and his.

Tinania sat up slightly confused before she turns four shades of red. Looking away she was trembling before she slips away from him then off the bed "I'm sorry, I...I....oh dear goddess." looking away she attempts to back away before actually falling off the bed.
Landing on the floor, she winces as she lays there. Covering her face she shook her head before she turns to lay on her stomach. This just wasn't her day at all. Moving carefully she stands before she sits on the edge of the bed.
She didn't say anything, she just sat there looking down at her feet.

Lucas sat up slowly, leaning against the wall of his bed. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked, turning his head to look at her. "Do... Do you got a guy back home?" He had heard her mention that'd she given it to only one, and he'd hurt her, so he wondered...
"I mean, if you don't want to talk about it that's fine, we can forget this whole thing and get some sleep... I wouldn't care one way or the other... But if you want to talk about it... Well it might make things less awkward you know?"
Watching her back he took deep slow breaths.
Gah, she really does need to wear more clothes around me...

Tinania shakes her head before running her finger across her left finger where the ring would be "I'm alone if that is what you mean. The man I gave everything to seem to left me after I recovered from a wound that nearly destroyed me. I was so free around him, so its all I knwo at this point." shaking her head she looks up at the celing before she actually chokes back a sob.
Looking at him she frowns "I just don't understand, I hate, him but at the same time he still gets to me. I loved him and no one else, I gave him my life and he walks away from me." turning away she digs her nails into the mattress.
She was shaking, but out of sadness and anger "So at this point I just want to forget him, that he ever was apart of my life. I just want to be free like I was.." looking over her shoulder at him she shakes her head sighing "I'm sorry...I'll shut up now."

Lucas got up and moved over to her, wrapping and arm around her shoulder. "No, it's okay..." He said gently, his hand not straying from her shoulder for all he wanted it to.
"I wish I could say I knew your pain but I don't, I can't even begin to get close."
Pulling her into a one armed hug he sighed. "I'd not ask how I can help you forget, that would be crass of me, and me using your vulnerable state to my advantage... Know now I will not move into that area of your life..."

Tinaina didn't say a word, she just hid her fact against his neck. Wrapping her arms around his upper body she pulls herself as close as she can to him. Sitting up she wipes at her face before she smiles at him "Thank you, your the first who hasn't tried to say you actually understand. No one does, this man he was my first, he was my heart." sighing she looks away before closing her eyes "I just want to forget even for a night about him, but it will never happen."
Pushing her hair from her face she turns towards him. Without really thinking, she press her lips to his in a quick kiss. Pulling back she pulls away from him slipping off the bed.
Looking over her shoulder, there was something in her eyes that was hard to read as she turns away from him. Walking back towards the living room.

Lucas sat there for a long moment blinking. "Gods be damned, they're cruel bastards all..." He muttered, before slowly standing and moving to the kitchen, pretty much following Nani out of the room before brewing some more tea.
"I'm making some more tea, would you like some?" He asked her. He made no mention of her kiss, he figured it would be best that way, not to push things.
Lord knows she was in a fragile position, and just shacking up with him would do naught but make her feel guilty.

Tinania nods as she kneels down pulling the blanket once more around her body. Walking into the kitchen she leans against the sink looking down at her feet "Yes please." she spoke quietly as she gave a rather small cough. Jumping up onto the counter she sat there looking eye level with him.
She didn't say anything she just watched him for a few minutes, her head tilting the to side as she leans slightly forward. Reaching out she draw a small finger over his sgoulder, across one of the many scars.

"Taming Teron," He said, as she ran her finger over the mark, looking up at her he looked into her eyes a moment. "The bear I ride, his name is Teron... I took that while teaching him to allow me on his back... I can name every beast that gave me every scar..." He chuckled.
"My eye... That hawk you had the pleasure of meetting... He nearly took it from me...." He reached up and touched the tattooed scar, smirking. "Good times..."
Pouring the tea into cups he pushed one towards her before leaning on the counter next to her.
"I have a feeling neither of us will be sleeping this night..."

Tinania takes a sip of her drink before she nods "My ex has scars, but he never explain how he got them. I have a few, but I hide them with a spell. I got them was I was attacked by a guy I once called a friend." falling quiet she loosk away for a moment as she shivers thinking about the attack.
Eubbing at her side se looks back at him tilting her head slightly. Her hair falling partly into her face "Why do you believe we won't be getting any sleep?" setting the drink down next to her she leans forward again as she brush over a scar then was in the middle of his back along his spine.

"Wild cat attack, while I was still a green ranger... I didn't set the trap right, it found it and when I went to reset it it sprung on me... It pains me now and again," Lucas chuckled, before turning to look at her. "Because it is two hours shy of dawn,"
If Tinania looked out the window, she would probably see the beginnings of a false dawn.
Shaking his head slowly he placed his hand on her arm. "Betrayal is not something many can stomach well... I hope he paid for his crime, a body such as yours, it would be a shame to give it marks."
He spoke freely, perhaps too freely, he did not catch his words until they had rolled from his tongue, and when he had, his faced darkened a bit, and he turned away to sip his tea.

Tinania eyes widen before she finds herself without a voice. Looking away she blushes herself before she turns looking at him again. Tilting her head she lifts her hand to draw her finger over a jagged scar along his chest "Where did you get this one?" looking up at him she didn't realize how close she was to him until her face was inches from his.
Shaking her head she was darker then him as she slips off the counter "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have touched you like that. I'm just too curious for my own good." taking a few steps backwards she winces when her foot backs the back of a chair.
Cursing the pain was bad enough that the scar across her stomach appear, it too was pretty jagged, as it was shaped much like the switchblade that was used on her.
Rubbing at her foot she shakes her head "That really hurt."

"No... It's fine..." Lucas said as he moved over to her, putting a hand on her shoulder to help steady her. "I may not be used to people touching me, but the healers have done it enough, to tend to all my wounds,"
Looking at her scar her frowned before shaking his head. "To answer your question... That one wasn't an animal. One of the Wild ones caught me outside their camp, he got lucky with his sword, but not lucky enough..."
Keeping a hand on her he chuckled. "You should probably go lay down and get some rest, my shift starts at first light..."

Tinania blushes before she chuckles "Why not lay down with me, to at least know that I feel asleep? Afterall I might try to run away now." titling her head she leans in draw her finger over the scar on his chest onces more.
Turning away from him she makes her way back towards the bedroom. Slipping onto the bed she lasys there just watching the door. Laying her hand on her stomach she didn't even bother to grab for the blanket to cover herself up.

Lucas chuckled and followed her into the bedroom, kneeling beside her as he laid down he lowered his head to her ear and whispered.
"You know what... I trust you not to run away... I wish you free,"
He reached behind her neck, and there was a soft click as he opened the cold iron collar, placing it back in his bedside table drawer.
Shaking his head slowly he brushed her hair before turning and leaving the room, to take yet another shower before putting on his gear to head out.
