What was he going to do now? Yuugi was at a loss. He didn’t know what to do. Something flickered in his mind when he heard Ushio talking about hurting them. “Don’t touch these two anymore!” He stated, standing his ground between the much bigger bully and Jounochi and Honda. “If you’re going to hurt someone, hurt me!”
“Okay – that’s two sweet teas. I’ll bring them out in a minute.” Naomi said with a smile. She put the order book in the pocket of her apron and headed to the kitchen to get the drinks. She was pouring two glasses of sweet tea when she heard someone calling her.
“Hey, Kikuchi-san!” She looked over and saw it was another waiter – a boy named Takeya Kegetora. He attended the same school. “Do you have the assignment for history? I left school early for an appointed and didn’t get it.”
“Sure dude. Just let me take these drinks out there and I’ll go get it.” She said as she picked up the tray with the two glasses of sweet tea. She went back out and delivered the drinks to them. That’s when they wanted to order so after taking down their orders, Naomi went around to the bar (still not seeing Bakura).
“Hey Naoe-sama – can you give this to the cooks? I have to get something out of my locker.” The bartender nodded and took the order slip without saying a word. Naomi then slipped around and headed for the lockers.

A vicous glow grew in Ushio's eyes. "You're beyond strange, you're crazy! All right then, as you wish!" Ushio said cracking his knuckles. He quickly grabbed Yuugi by the collar and lifted him up. "Normally, I hate picking on people.... but this isn't 'bullying' this is 'warning'!" Ushio said hypocritically. Ushio gritted his teeth and hissed, "I'll show you what will happen if you don't pay up!" He took Yuugi and literally swung him around like a rag doll. Ushio was truly was a monster, he gave no mercy. He varied from kick to punch until Yuugi finally hit the ground.
Jonouchi was shocked by Yuugi's response. Was he telking the truth? He had to have been. Nobody sacrifices to be beaten just to cover their tracks. He was amazed, confused. Why didn't Yuugi just stay quiet like always? He was resisting Ushio.... to protect them?
Bakura thought he would take his chances and follow her now. He could always melt back into the crowd to make an escape. He walked slowly and into the locker room. Only Naomi was there, and her back to him. He took silent steps toward her until he was in arms legnth. He then quickly snatched her, putting one hand over her mouth and the other holding her body. "Don't make a sound, or you'll be extremely sorry," Bakura sneered.

Yuugi didn’t fight back as Ushio unmercifully beat him. There wasn’t much he could do – Ushio was so much bigger and stronger than him anyway. A thought when through his mind – he’d made a wish on the puzzle. He wished for friends... real friends he could count on no matter what... and they could count on him. He nearly lost all his breath as he was finally kicked in the stomach, when Ushio had finally finished his attack.
Naomi gasped and froze. Her heart and mind began racing, trying to think of someway to get out of this. But something bothered her. The voice of her attacker seemed very... familiar. Ryou? She thought. No... this can’t be Ryou. Ryou wouldn’t act like this at all. But it sounds so much like him. She tried getting a look at the guy but he kept himself hidden behind her.

"I'll leave it at this. Bring the money tomorrow! Got it!? $300!!!" Ushio yelled with one final kick to the stomach. He swiftly and almost elegantly pulled out a knife from under his school jacket. "Break your promise and that won't be all you get..... I'll teach you even more pain!" Ushio licked the flat side of the knife, "With this." He put it away into his jacket again and walked away while laughing. Another sucker, this was too easy. Who said making money was hard?
Akiko sighed one last time. She decided to just go. She got up and dusted herself off and walked alone. When she passed by the Kame Game Shop she stop. She thought about going in and asking about him, where he was and why he didn't wait. But she didn't want to make it look like she was being aggresive, or to put the blame on him. There was probably a good reason, she hoped. She felt uneasy, but wasn't exactly sure. She continued on home.
"I want you to listen very carefully," Bakura hissed lowly, "your going to give me your braclet. Your not going to look behind you, or tell anybody. If you do, you'll will regret it- I'm sure of that." Bakura, usually, would be more aggresive in taking Millennium Items from people, but he underestimated Naomi. He didn't find a threat and that was a big mistake. He moved his his hand, that didn't cover her mouth, to her Millennium Braclet- attempting to take it.

Yuugi took in the threat, knowing Ushio would probably act on it. He sat up against the wall opposite of Jounochi and Honda. It seemed like everything hurt or if it didn’t now, it would be tomorrow. He mentally sighed Damn... what am I going to do?
As Bakura reached for the bracelet, it flashed briefly as the spirit inside took over Naomi’s body. Despire had been listening to both Naomi’s thoughts and what she heard. Bakura wasn’t exactly holding onto her very fight so she quickly elbowed him hard in the stomach and slipped out of his grip. She went a few paces in front of him and turned around, her amber yellow eyes glaring at him. “I got here first, thief.” she stated. “I won’t take kindly to those stealing from me.”

Akiko entered her house and traveled into her room. She started on her home work, to get it out of the way. She fiddled with her orb a bit, a habit of hers which signaled either worry or deep thought. She was working on math, so it was deep thought.
Jonouchi struggled to get up. "Come on Honda, let's get you home," he said as he lended a hand. He didn't look at Yuugi, but for different reasons. After all he did to him, and he still stood up for him and Honda. After he dropped Honda off safely, he would have to go and take a walk. He had to think for a while.
Bakura released her from the blow she delivered. He recoiled back- he didn't expect it. He glared at her, it was now apparent that a soul inhabatite the item. Bakura decided to retreat for now, he pointed at her and growled, "You haven't seen the last of me. Mark my words, you'll regret this. You should have done what I said- now I'll be sure to make it a painfull experience when I take your item." Bakura smirked, he was so fustrated that he decided to make his hikari pay. He switched control with him, Ryou's body fell to the ground from the strain of switching back and forth. Bakura left Ryou to wake in a strange place with no knowledge how he got there or how to get home. Ryou's body laid on the ground.

After a moment, Yuugi managed to get up and start the trek home. His face and sides hurt from where Ushio had hit him and knew there would be bruises later. As he walked out of the school courtyard, he glanced back at the front of the school then started the walk home. It was nearly thirty minutes before he got home, which he was met at the door by his grandpa. After bandages and such were put over the bruises, he went up to his room, intending on counting what allowance money he had. Not that it would amount to anything but it was worth a shot.
Despire glared at the thief then watched as his host’s body fell to the ground. “Idiot.” She stated then allowed Naomi to regain control. She retreated back into her soul room.
Naomi blinked and shook her head slightly. She figured it must have been Despire again... when she had black-outs before, it always ended up being her. And that usually meant something had happened. She saw the figure on the floor and her eyes widened slightly, “Ryou!” she went over to his side. She’d seen people like this before... after the spirit of the bracelet was in control. “Oh man... Ryou, wake up dude. Wake up.”

Ryou didn't move for a few seconds. He finally moaned slightly and opened his eyes slowly. He saw bright lights on a ceiling. Then he heard Naomi's voice- he didn't quite put the voice to the face, but he did manage to ask, "Where am I?" He closed his eyes and squeezed them a bit. "My head hurts," he mummbled a bit. It was still pounding from before. His senses then came back to him, as he saw Naomi by his side. "N-Naomi? Where am I?" he said still in a weak tone yet returning to normal.
Jonouchi, after bringing Honda home, walked around for a while. He eventually walked to the school, then to the school pool. He looked into it only for a few seconds before deciding. He dove into the pool- searching for the piece he threw in yesterday. It was wrong- he knew it. But he could make it right. Jonouchi finally found it and swam up. He began his way to Yuugi's house.

Naomi sighed in relief. She was afraid Despire had done something and that Ryou wouldn’t wake up. Now she had to explain where he was, thus giving up her secret. Oh well... bound to happen somehow... She thought. “You’re in the locker rooms in the back of Club Pleasure.” She explained. “Are you okay dude?”
Yuugi rubbed the side of his cheek, flattening out the bandage he’d put on. On his desk was the money he’d saved up – sixteen dollars. There’s no way he’d be able to do anything with that and if he didn’t pay, Ushio would beat him up again. He sighed and started fiddling with the pieces of the puzzle. He unconsciously began putting the pieces together but when he did notice, he stopped and looked at it. This was no time to work on this but he couldn’t think of anything else to do. At least working on it made him feel better. The pieces seemed like they were falling right into place.

Ryou looked shocked. He sat straight up abd looked around. He seemed panicky, and very confused. "How..... how did I get here?! I was in my house...... there's no way I could be here right now," Ryou said in a panic. His body was shacking a bit, he could coprihend this. Waking up some where you didn't fall asleep at was freaky. A thousand horrifying reasons to how popped into his head, all except the real one. Was he kidnapped? Was his house broken into? Is he sleep walking? Or is he just going crazy? His breathing as well as his heart raced from the fear and confusion.
Jonouchi approached Yuugi's house, the Kame Game shop, soaked and wet. Outside was an old man sweeping, must be his grandfather. He walked up to him and said, "Can you give this to Yuugi? It's his. Don't tell him it was me who returned it." He extended his arm and dropped the piece of puzzle into the old man's hands. He walked away, without waiting for a response. Jonouchi had to keep walking, to keep thinking.

Naomi didn’t know what to do. It seemed that he didn’t remember anything that had happened before. Did he some kind of split personality or... or was he like her? “Calm down or you’re going to hyperventilate!” She said, gently placing her hands on his shoulders. “It’s okay... this is where I work. Now just calm down... you’re okay.”
Hearing footsteps, Sugoroku looked up from his sweeping and saw the young man. He looked drenched from head to toe even though it hadn’t rained at all. He took the piece and looked at it, realizing it was apart of the puzzle Yuugi had been working on for a while. When he looked back at the boy, he’d already gone.
Yuugi had put his whole attention on the puzzle now. It was strange... even though he felt awful, solving the puzzle seemed easy. Finally, all the pieces had fit in and all that was missing was the center. Excitement grew inside of him – he’d done it! He’d finally solved the puzzle! Only thing to do was fit in the last piece but as he reached over into the box for it, all he felt was air. Panic soon replaced the excitement and he started searching through the room. Had he dropped it somewhere? This couldn’t be right! After a moment, he went to sit back down at his desk and looked at the puzzle. He was so close... but now he wouldn’t get his wish!

Ryou started to calm down, though the fear was still inside him. He calmed his breathing down, just as Naomi told him so. "Okay...... okay," he replied to her showing he was calm. He blinked a few times as he looked around once more. This time, he looked with a clearer mind. "I'm... at your work?" he let the thought sink in. He then shook his head and said, "Wait, we can't... students can't work. It's the rules of the school." He looked at her with empathy, if she was working it had to be for a good reason.
Akiko had finished her homework pretty quickly. She stretched out in her chair and yawned. After so, she relaxed casual- slootching in her chair. She was bored, she couldn't help it. She didn't have anybody to hang out with, as of yet. She looked at a framed picture that was on her desk. It was of her and her three other friends back in the US. "Heh, the four muskateers," she said meekly to herself. She laid her head on her desk- using her arms to cushion. She knew she would make new friends, but she missed her old friends.

Naomi was glad when Ryou finally started to calm down. Good – this would make things a little easier. She didn’t say anything for a moment, taking her hands off his shoulders and sitting back (being careful that she was wearing a short dress). “Well... I have to pay bills and eat somehow, right?” She said, looking back at him. From the way he talked, she was a little worried that he might tell her secret.

Yuugi heard a knock at his door and turned to see his grandpa coming in. The man saw that he’d almost completed the puzzle then handed over the piece he’d gotten from Jounochi. Yuugi was both surprised and overjoyed when he saw his grandpa had the piece. He told his grandpa thanks then said goodnight to him when the elder turned to leave. Yuugi heard the door close and he went back to his desk and sat down. He picked up the puzzle and with a smile, he fit the last piece into the slot. He finally did! The puzzle suddenly flashed and Yuugi’s eyes widened. He felt as though something was wrong but, before he could react, everything went dark for him.

Ryou looked empathetically at her. "So this is why your out so late," he said piecing everything together. Ryou wished he could help her out, well maybe he could. But he knew Naomi would refuse, but he wouldn't give up. He smled softly, "Naomi, I won't tell anybody. Just make sure nobody else finds out." He wouldn't report her, after what she said it was for. "I'm sorry for, this weird occurence. I really don't know how I got here. At least you were here instead of some stranger," Ryou said.
Akiko's orb suddenly glowed wildly with gold. Akiko sat up and cuffed the orb in her hands. "Wha.... what's happening?" she said. It then stopped. Akiko looked around, everything was the same. Was she being warned? No, she didn't see a color. "What are you doing, what happened?" she asked- almost looking like she was asking herself. A few seconds and she heard no response. "Well, I'll take it that everythings ok," she said.

((Good... because I wasn’t 100% sure on how we were going to do that one...))
Naomi sighed with relief and smiled. “Thanks dude. I would defiantly appreciate it if you didn’t tell anyone.” She said. It actually felt a little better, now that someone else knew her about her secret job. She frowned a little and said, “Yeah I guess it would be.” She wasn’t sure if she should tell him about the event that had happened before she blacked out. “Hmm... in any case, I guess I should be getting you out of here.” She stood up, brushing her self off and fixing the robe-type outfit. “If my boss finds you back here, he’ll have a cow.”
