Smiling somewhat slyly, the feline offered a chuckle. "Low lights? Danger at every turn? The buzz of politics? How could I refuse?" he quipped, approaching the taller man and leaning upward, expectant of a kiss.

Alek obliged with gentled passion, still perturbed by what the others had said of him.

All the other's contemplation seemed to show when they were through, and the younger boy's brow lifted with concern. "What is it?" he asked, his baritone voice sweet and melodic.

He seemed to pause for a moment, actually unsure as to whether it really mattered, this rejection that he felt. He chose to answer the redheaded one regardless. "I've just been told what a horrible person I am. I knew it, but I didn't think that other people felt the same..." His voice seemed to trail off as it cracked a little, and he actually laid his head against the smaller one's chest for solace, a few tears runing down his face.

When the taller seemed to melt into his arms, he held the larger close, one hand trailing along his back as he lay his chin atop the head of dark hair that he adored. "You're not a horrible person..." he cooed, almost automatically. "You might be a little outspoken, but not horrible."

Alek took these words of solace, but did not , or could not stop crying. He was silent, but the even the silent sobs wracked his body in shudders.
He broke away from the redhead's embrace, and tried to quell his sobbing, trying to compose himself.

Desirous of, but unable to, keep him close, the smaller boy simply let his mate break away, but he remained near, nevertheless. "What are they all on about, anyway?" he asked, hoping to get the taller male off the topic of his misery. "I thought their clans were at war."

At the mention of this, the black wolf seemed to pull himself together, picking up his pieces and re-arranging them.
"Oh, those bufoons? They were having a meeting. They want peace. I told them that the five or so of them couldn't do much to help the situation, as there will be bloodshed. Even in revolution for a rightful cause, the lives lost are significant. I pointed out to them that for all their high minded prater, they hadn't done anything. And then they let me have it. Peace my a**... they want nice compliant utopians!" He spat, his ire ignited again and distracting him from his own pain.
"And when I mentioned the Nekomata, they all went silent or left. They don't seem to get the point of anything, even if it comes from thier own mouths. And they called me the ignorant one..." He glared off in the general direction from whence he'd came, and shuddered in a combination of disgust and rage.

"That was what I'd surmised..." he muttered lowly, looking past the large wolf to where the crowd had formerly been. "And I hate to admit it, but you've got this down to a science--revolution costs lives, just as much as war does..." he muttered, slowly crawling forth and sitting with the wolf. "And five people--that's a grain of sand on a beachfront--they need guidance, more than they need utopia."
He seemed to pause for a moment. "Of course, every other creature that looks like you hates me, so I can't exactly go up there and make a speech, lest I wish to be torn apart at the seams."

"Let them try!!! I'll kill anyone who so much as lays an unfriendly finger on you!!!" Alek replied, his face burning with a furious blush, as his legs stiffened, and his tail lashed.

A little startled at first, the smaller boy sighed fondly, sweeping a hand back through the older's pink-tipped hair. "You really can't help it, Alek... it's the natural order of things..." He laughed bitterly. "Oh, speaking of--you might want to warn the others... that my father is getting very mad about the Hydiskal expansion--it's breaching our territory as we speak, and he is not happy."

Akamaki looked up at the moon and saw it would be daylight soon "Crap! I've gotta go also!" she said as she jumped up. "Just send me where our next meeting is if it's gonna change" as she then darted off into the forest and jumped into the tree's and took off running back to her village.

((Kitsu (Mutil cool had to shove off in a hurry...))
The boy seemed to take the other's silence as his usual 'I don't care' sort of attitude. Nevertheless, he was concerned--because that meant his father would be mad... and that the conflict might spread to his own clan.
Thinking quickly of his own safety, he looked back from whence he came, into the rising sun. "I have to go," he said quietly, lingering upon the face of the other's silence, his mis-matched eyes resentful of his own parting. "I'll see you again," he assured, before he made his own way back from whence he'd come.

Adonna watched the others go, and answered Kin “Well meet over by your territory. How about that one large clearing by Half Moon Lake.” Then she turned back to the group that still remained, “As much as I hate to admit it, that Half had a very good point. No matter how hard we work, were never going to reach a utopia. But what I think we can reach is an end to the meaningless wars. There always going to fight, but at least if the wars stop maybe we wont have to hide our friendships. One day I will have to step up and face the facts, and lead after my father, and I don’t want to fight any of you during that time.” She paused thinking back, “As to the Nekomata, I myself have never really meat one. I have no idea if they would be willing to help us or not. But for now I think we all have to head back." She said then walked off down the river, not very exited about going back.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Kinlistened to the rest of what Adonna had to say then took off at a running start. Soon she was in view of her house. And not much to her surprise, but horror, were her grandparents out in the front yard. They had already spotted her, and she could feel the anger and relief radiating off of them. ‘Its going to be a long night.” She thought to herself.

Flying high over head his amber eyes catch the form of Adanna wandering the rivers edge. Folding his wings slightly back he begins to dive pulling back just before reaching the ground causing a massive blast of air that forces the water to shift away. With out changing into his human form he walks along side Adanna. "You wish to know how I know your father don't you?"
