Crow was not familiar at all with Strobe's hand signs, he couldn't quite translate what he was doing. It didn't matter though, as he had already been almost completely drenched in water from the tide, if it were a danger to him it was already taken care of. As they began to reach shallower waters, and finally dryer beach he noticed Jackie up ahead. As far as he knew she was just like all the others who had not come from the cages, the people hunting them. Crow looked back to Strobe and Kioko, he motioned his hand towards the rock face, hoping that they would hide as well as he pressed himself against the rock face. He snuck as stealthily as he could, getting about 30 feet away coming away from the rock face, even his clicking boots disguised by the sound of the waves.

Kioko saw strobe and understood what he had been trying to say,
"hey guys, wet ur barcodes, they distort the signal.." Kioko said turning around to the rest of the group...
she morphed into a bird and flew alongside strobe, looking at how far until town...

"That girl on the beach," Strobe whispered to kioko, "I don't remember seeing her in the lab, but all the same, I think we should scope her out before giving away our position."

"sure, altho she looks like one of us, we cant be sure..." Kioko said nodding before mophin back into a girl, she landed in the water and started walking slowly towards the girl

((Hahaha, naw, with only three constant players there's not going to be much progress if one leaves.))
Crow was already crouched, ready to strike should Jackie make any sudden movements. As Kioko passed he relaxed but looked at Kioko questioningly, as if to ask if she should really be approaching the unknown person.

Strobe began to warp the air near his hand, readying some plasma, just in case. He watched Kioko intently. He had to make sure she was safe. She reminded him so much of his sister....
'Wait, sister? I don't have a sister!' he thought frantically. The thoughts streamed into his mind, painful, confused memories.... no sense of time..... the fire, the terrible fire....... The surf broke his dream. He shook his head and continued to watch kioko's back.

Kioko took a deep breath, watching her movements, but made it not obvious to her...she aproachd the girl cautiously and smiled trying to look normal...
c'mon kioko, shes only another experiment, plus if she does anything you have others to back you upp! Kioko thought
"umm, hi, m-mind if i ask why you're out here by your lonesome?" Kioko asked in a kind voice, pushing her hair to the side of her head cuz the wind was blowing them...
cant ask about the lab too soon, she might think im weird!

Jackie was startled by the sudden intrusion of her daydream. She looked up, her onyx eyes fixated upon a slender figure. 'A girl...?' She thought softly as she looked her over before looking around to the two men beside her, looking ready to attack her at any second. She bit her lip as she scrambled to her feet and ran into Kioko's arms. "Please...Don't let them hurt me..." She whispered softly as soft tears ran down her cheeks as she held onto her closely. "I'm scared...that the bad people will...hurt me..." Her cat ears flicked back and forth a bit before falling back in submission.

As Jackie made rapid movement towards Kioko Crow's body went rigid like a cat, the water around his legs began to part seemingly on it's own. He watched the girl's movements carefully, they were careless, there was no way she was coming in for an attack. He was taught nothing of deception in his training, so be her actions honest or a facade he had no suspicions. Crow rose straight up to his feet, exposing his full 6'2" body frame, so that he could see over Kioko's shoulder, the person actually seemed to be another among them, one of the lab subjects. He relaxed and the water near his legs crashed back down around them.

Strobe now felt sad for forming plasma on this girl, but then again it could be a trap. he decided to turn down the powers, but keep cautious just in case.
"We didn't mean to scare you," Strobe said, gently,"We were only cautious." It was then that he noticed her cat-like ears. " You're another experiment, just like us."

Jackie looked up at them, her eyes still full of terror and sadness. "Sadly yes..." She said quietly as she loosened her grip on the other girl and sighed softly. "The life I lead is one of terror and pain..." She said, tears welling up in her eyes. "My home and people shunned me away as did everything else...sometimes I just don't know what to do..." She said as she began to cry. She had felt so used, so alone for too long now. All she really needed was a friend to stand by her in her hell she called life.

Crow gazed upon the scene, it probably told of the trials they would all face when they reached society, that is, if they did. Crow would have offered the girl his best words of comfort, unfortunately it was beyond his power. He began to have ideas of what they should do from here, however expressing them posed a bit of trouble

((OMG, im soo sorry, unfotunately, my grades dropped a bit...and my parents freaked and took away sum of my COMPY priveladges so i dun go on as much, but as soon as i get them back to an A, i'll be on much more...))
"well, your welcomed with us, as you can see, we too are experiments, we;ve recently gotten away from the lab not too long ago...im Kioko, nice to meet you..." Kioko said smiling at the girl and looking at her head to toe, noticing her experimental features...
"so, you never answered my question, what are you doing out here by your lonesome?"

Jackie nodded to Kioko with a worried look on her face as she blushed only slightly. She let her grip loosen before finally submitting to her child-like innocence. She bit her lip as her cat ears flicked back and forth. "Um...I was getting away...from the ill-treatment of the normies..." She said as she looked meekly up at her, finally realizing that she had been accepted into their rebel 'society.'

Crow was surprised by this news, he had no idea that there were experiments before them, and that there were escapes before theirs. He had to wonder, was there maybe a 'prototype' of himself wandering about somewhere in this world?
