"Uuhh... my head..." The boy awoke a long time afterwards. He looked around to see whee he was. All he could remember was being attacked by the soldier.

The blindfolded Kira groped around the cafeteria and grabbed a tray and some plates before getting his food. In front of all the food, he started examining the food.
"Smells like chicken. Is that mashed potato? I hope that's macaroni and cheese." He puts various portions of food unto his plate before walking over to where Laurel and the others were sitting.

"Excuse me if I'm being nosey but, why do you wear a blindfold?" Laurel asked trying not to sound rude. She never liked to pry into people so she tried to ask politely.

Kira abruptly paused in the middle of eating a piece of chicken. He put down his fork and looked umcomfortably away from the headmistress. He started saying, "Well...you see, my eyes...they can kill people, just by looking into their eyes. So I wear this blindfold to avoid murdering somebody."

"I'm sorry...I didn't mean to bring anything up that would be hurtful. But you'll see that you can make friends here for who you are. I'm sorry once again." Laurel said sadly not wanting to be any more of a bother to Kira. "erm...well...um..." Laurel then tried to change the subject but couldn't because she was thinking about Kira's eyes too much.

Akamaki was so surprised about Kira's eye's that a brief fire flared along her right arm before she could supress it down.

"Not really..." Laurel said as she ate her food with great haste. "I don't really notice that kind of stuff." Laurel said. "Yes, you do you stupid a**." Rose said. Laurel then choked on her food in surprise.

Momentarily forgetting the incident with the flare, Kira asks Laurel, "Um, are you ok?" He pats her on the back before responding to Akamaki, "Hi, I'm eating some chicken and mashed potatoes."

Kira jumped a little, surprised by Knowles' sudden and unnoticed appearance. After getting his bearings, Kira gave a shaky smile and said, "Hello, I'm Kira."
