fyr3neko BlueBatman Why is it that the only person that I have trouble speaking to is the girl that I like? Anyone could probably answer Most people have problems talking to the people the like; they want to say things to impress them, but then they feel like an idiot after they say it. I always feel stupid after talking to guys that I like, esp. if I'm touching on topics that I'm not really familar with - like cars, sports, ... other stuff.... sweatdrop Maybe if you tried talking about something you both have in common, you'd be more comfortable talking to her. i just talk to her and gauge how she feels about something. if its something she likes talking about keep going!

I have a question for the girls... even though I am one. stare
Why do most girls (I guess not the ones in this guild) NOT like the whole chivalry thing?! My boyfriend was chivalrous to many girls, and every time he was, they'd act like he was weird, or they'd think it was annoying... and the like. WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?!?!?!?!?!?! scream gonk

I know that I don't think twice about opening a door for myself. But when a guy does it, I think it's one of the sweetest things.

My psych. teacher once told me(the class, actually), though, "Why do girls -want- to be equal to guys? Do they really want to bring themselves to that low?" I found it funny because the teacher's a guy. razz It's like my dad telling me as I've grown up, "Boys are dumb." xd No offense to the gentlemen in this guild! heart blaugh biggrin But really! Why do you think guys propose while kneeling? (hint: girls are a higher status) wink *not meaning for it to sound so... boastful or prideful or anything... sweatdrop *

BlueBatman Why is it that the only person that I have trouble speaking to is the girl that I like? Anyone could probably answer Talk about her. Ask questions. People love to talk about themselves. If you show a sincere interest in things she cares about you'll make her feel appreciated and generally warm and fuzzy. If you're the source of a warm fuzzy feeling then that person keeps returning to the source. Example: Guy: I was so busy yesterday (briefly describe your day) How about you? What dp you do after school. Girl: Well, I have homework and then gymnastic lessons. Guy: You take gymnastics? Girl: Yes, but I'm not very good (don't believe her) Guy: I bet you are, how long have you been taking lessons? There you go, you just had a conversation and made her feel important.
