*Michael winced slightly, before laughing. To think someone had tried to use his own tricks against him. He was pleased at the thought of recruiting Ranu. Michael's eye fell, once again on Daniel and the pinned guard.*

Daniel silently swings his blade across the man's chest, mortally slicing a majority of the major organs in his chest.

* grim laugh echoed as the body of the guard hit teh floor.*
"Excellent."
*At Michael's command another guard brought a black uniform over to Daniel, and knelt handing it up to him. A second guard brought over armor, and a belt with a dagger and pistol.*
"Welcome aboard."
*Michael rose from his throne as the two guards set the clothes on the floor. Michael walked slowly towards the door as the guards left the throne room.*
"Now comes your final test. Pass this and you can unlock power, the likes of which you've never imagined!"
*A large snake flew out from the figure's sleeve and struck Daniel in the neck. As the serpent backed away the curse mark in the shape of a skeleton formed on his neck. Two guards shut the doors to the throne room and locked them. Michael turned once on deck and walked up to the helm.*
"Set a coarse for the island of Cordoba."
*The guard knodded, and Michael sent the name to echo throgh ranu's mind. He had given him the where, and it was now up to Ranu to find him. Two guards brought another chair to the helm, and Michael sat. It would be boring while Daniel was breaking in his new "gift".*

Daniel tilts his head to the side as the snake strikes him, silently taking the next step of his journey towards power. He pulls a ribbon from his pocket, wrapping his blade within seconds, and replacing it, strung around his shoulder, but hanging from his waist. He takes the armor and uniform, and leaves the room, barely nodding to his new commander. He had never been one to respect authority. Cathy said he got it from his father. He goes belowdecks, and pulls out a dagger, cutting and relacing the over armor, until it fit him like a glove.

*Michael smiles grimly as Daniel walks below deck. he had beaten all expectation he had had for the boy. Daniel had taken the pain of the curse mark as if ti was nothing... he was exactly the apprentice he had been searching for. Two guards moved down the stais below the deck and knelt before Daniel, he now out ranked them.*
Guard: "Sir, your prresence is requested on deck."

The recoats callapsed and the crew ran riot.
People were raped.
Kids were shot.
Stuff got stolen.
Bloody pirates.
Within an hour, they'd have taken the weapons and returned to the ship, then the Pearl would go hunting.

Daniel's eyes do not leave his armor as he puts it on. He finishes lacing it up, and waves them away.
Daniel: As your master wishes.
He walks past the kneeling men, not even making eye contact. He strides abovedecks, and into Michael's quarters, his posture comfortable yet menacing in his new armor.
Daniel: What do you want?

Storm floated Kiki and herself back out to the ship a while later, both covered head to foot in gore. She glared at Ranu from a mask of what appared to be severale parts of a liver and somesort of 'meat.'
"I blame you entirly for this."
The boy, however, was ecstatic. It seemd that he had always dreamed of running away and becoming a pirate. Go figure. And he even found he liked Storm, once he looked last the whole scary, arm chopping off, theif to all, raper to none facade.

Ranu shrugged and his eyes slid shut as another spasm of pain passed over him. This came from inside, not his neck. He looked up at Storm a moment, then went below deck to his cabin.
Moving to his bed, he collapsed onto it, staring at the wall.

"Enjoying your position of power?"
*Michael kept his eye on Daniel as a guard drew a map down from the wall behind him.*
"We are currently en route to meet with the man who brought you to your current state. I just thought you'd like to know, perhaps you should prepare. I know you must have something to say to him..."
*Michael watched Daniel's eyes to read any hint of emotion in them. He had to admit, he was enjoying this.*

The ship sailed swiftly after the Chinese ship. Setting a course to intercept, every single piece of sail was hung out.
The chase was on.

(So you're a vampire now? I don't suppose you care much for the caribbean sun then? But don't forget that you and Daniel both have my little curse mark, and Kibo knows how to use it... At least i assume he does, he knew who i was imtiating at teh least.)
*Michael turned his head and rose. His pupil had thinned. He gazed out at the sea and noticed the rapidly approaching Pearl.*
"Speak of the devil..."
*Michael turned back and walked towards the helm, signaling Daniel to follow him. Before the fog could clear, before the look out could yell "land Ho!" They had arrived. Cordoba was a small island, although it was very hilly. The island would be perfect for a town, but it was surrounded by a dnagerous reef. The Orochi sailed through safely as it had done hundreds of times before. At the stern, crewmen dumped a strange liquid into the water that left a red trail for Ranu to follow.*

Daniel stands at ease, his hands behind his back, with no emotion on his face. He looked almost bored, despite his insides churning with a mix of emotions. He wasn't seeking revenge anymore. He was acting under the orders of Michael.

"Although they are just pirates we must still act with strategy. It is probubly best that the captain does not recognize you until later on."
*another guard came before Daniel carrying a large chest. opening it, he revealed several masks.*
"Take your pick"
(I don't know what kind of mask you'd like so you can just put up a google pick of a mask you like an say it was in the chest. Otherwise ill look for something evil for you.)

This was getting bothersome. The ship passed the reefs easily, and turned broadside to the ship, within easy cannon range.
On the ship, Ranu stood on the deck again, sword on his back, unscabbarded and seeming to float. He crossed his arms and watched, with magnified vision, as the men, whom he could see were facing from him, took out masks.
"Lower a boat." He said softly, hissing slightly. He walked forwards and the sword which had looked set to fall off, stayed in place happily. He dropped over the side and stood on the water as if it weighted more than him. He was literally standing on water. As the empty boat lowered beside him, Ranu swung himself in, then used magic to push the boat to the shore, arms crossed and a cold look on his face. Inside, the mortal Ranu was dying.
