What? How could he have heard me coming? Kallisto skided along the ground as she tried to stop, dirt and leaves were scattered as her paws tried to keep her from sliding. She pressed her form close to the ground, just soon enough to avoid the blow, though she felt the wind as it passed by her head. Her sharp eyes picked out the dagger lying on the ground and she made a lunge for it, but if DG was faster she would be in trouble. This is very bad...

{Post 4} "WOAH... AHHH... CRAP..." Notsu was spinning round and round... and round and round... and round and round. Soon he was spinning at a point where he had to turn the plasma sword off to keep from chopping off his feet! " PLEASE... STOP... CAN'T... FEEL... BRAI- WWWHHHHAAAAA!" Presently, Notsu flew a good four yards to the opposite end of the building, landing stomach first. Standing, he shook off the monkey and picked it up. " Ha ha ha ha ha haa, I got your funny lookin' windsock!" Of course, the tail then slapped him and crawled off the building.
"Had I not known better, I'd say it bit me..." remarked Notsu as he righted himself once more. Looking at Gale, he pressed a button on the side of his helmet. " Best manuever: Down seven feet, foreward four yards, up seven feet. GOOD LUCK!" Answered the helmet as Notsu contemplated what to do. He activated the plasma sword and immediately shoved it into the ground, then quickly made a circle circle, a hole, through which Notsu jumped. You could here a few screams, and a few less Ooos and Ahhs, below as Notsu entered. A few seconds later, a red plasma sword stuck up through the ground where Gale was standing LAST NOTSU SAW, quickly made another hole, though which Notsu stabbed upwards.

The stage is set.DG knew at that range whatever an animal(or half-beast in this case) did would be much faster than a human's reflexes could counter. He couldn't stop her from getting the dagger, but, as far as he knew, she hadn't thought about how far or how fast she would have needed to be to be safe. She was much too close for him to even pull the string back, but he still had the arrow. He moved his hand on the arrow closer to the head and plunged it into her back. He reached for another arrow from his quiver on the ground. He only pulled it back far enough to punture her skin if she didn't try to block it. He prayed that she would block it or not even turn around fast enough.

Kallisto let out a howl as the arrow pierced her back. Her hand closed around the hilt of the dagger and she swung it blindly in Dg's direction. Animal rage was in her now and all caution had left. The eyes of the skull pendent flashed red reflecting her rage. She wore the pendent for that very reason, it would calm her rage, but only over time. For now she was fighting blindly. She slashed at DG again, not even checking to see if she had hit him.

The stage is set.The dagger had slashed his left leg a bit deep. The second slash only cut his pants. DG jumped back to get a little distance to better ready himself. Then he remembered his swords were still in the tree. He still had the arrow ready to fire, so instead of shooting at her, he aimed right at on of his swords and pulled back harder. He released it to shoot the sword down. He knew was was left wide open for any attack thrown at him, but he had no choice at this point. Post 11 Let the battle begin!

14 Amairis chuckled. Come down here? What a silly request! Deciding to ignore his warning, she proceeded to paint a yellow, zig-zagging line down her "canvas" towards Dream. Within the abyss, it would simply materialize as a sudden strike of lightening. She drew a few more around him and, hoping this would provide enough trouble to keep him busy for a little while, she pulled her guitar around into her lap and began to play. Streams of magic trailed out of the instrument, stretching down into the abyss and into the scatter globs of paint-Amairis. The globs throbbed with the music at first, and then began drifting towards each other, melding together and building into the broken doppelganger...

Dazed from the spin, Gale had to regain his footing for a while to stabilize his balance. What he didn't notice was that Notsu was already gone, and by the time he realized it, it was just a second too late. He had already gone into the building by creating a circular hole in the roof.
Reacting as fast as he could, he scanned the area with his visor, trying to calculate Notsu's next move. Aside from that, he used his other opponent tracker: the treble clef attachments to his ears. Gale pushed a button to activate them as well, picking up even the slightest sound or the weakest vibration.
Suddenly, his visors flashed red; a common warning sign to all. When his eyes darted to the warning, it said: "Enemy position prediction: Attacking from directly below. Time estimated: Imminent. Proposed Action: BLOCK." Gale's eyes widened at the message, and began to move his hand equipped with the Ice Tiara below him, Tiara facing the ground.
Just as Notsu had broke through the floor below him, he managed to redirect the attack with the Ice Tiara, just enough so that it wouldn't kill him, but it left a pretty large gash on his cheek anyway. Gale flinched from the pain as he clambered away and tried to get close to his own sword, blood dripping down the right side of his face.
He picked up his sword, made a stance, and waited for Notsu to make another move before he made his own.

Kallisto ran at him roaring her fury, she slashed at him with her claws but he had already realeased the arrow. With a chilling howl she readied herself to leap at him, but just as she was about to pounce a strange feeling came over her. She paused and came back to her senses. She smelled her own fury mixed with the scent of the sea air before that rage overcame her again, and all calm was forgotten. With a grin of sharp teeth she abandoned the leap and stalked towards DG. Her claws raked the soil as she walked, and her tail thrashed the air behind her. "What next?" she growled challengingly.

The stage is set.DG noticed at this point that the sword was on the other side of his opponent. It would be suicide to try to rush past her. His quiver was out of arrows now and had a hole from the dagger getting struck into it, possibly weakening it too much to use as a shield anymore. His heel still bleeding from being bitten off of the tree. His left leg bloody from her dagger. She made contact to his arm with her claws. He got a smug smile on his face. "This!" he responded. He reached his left hand to the base of his long red hair, and threw it off and into her face, revealing his real, short blue hair. He dashed very close past her and hit her with his bow as he went for his sword. It wasn't very far, but it was still far enough to throw himself off guard. He pulled the sword out of the ground and held it in both hands in a defensive stance. The bleeding from all his wounds didn't get any better, and to make matters worst, he ran on some of his own arrows that fell out of his quiver from defending. Each arrow either cut through his wraps to his foot or snapped under it making it useless. There was a lot weighting against him in this fight now. Post 12 Let the battle begin!

{Post 5} Jumping out of the hole, Notsu almost wanted to laugh at Gale. "[Stifled laugh] Oh, I cut your face wide open! I... [chuckle]... I guess your equipment's really good at last minute tracking!" He kept from bursting out in laughter at the wound on Gale's cheek, readied his own sword, and grunted in a way that said 'Your move.'

Dream raised his necklace as the lightning struck. Attracted to the metal electric pendant, it completely ignored him and struck the necklace. Unfortunately, fake-Amairis was beginning to reform from the music the real one was playing. Crap. Well, time for something unexpected. There was nothing in the entire abyss now save him, his rival's clone, and a patch of flowers. That patch of fake flowers was exactly what he would use to get out of this place.
Quickly, so as not to give Amairis time to complete her reformation, he grabbed as many flowers as he could and crushed them back into the paint they began as, using his necklace to pretty much melt them into nothing. The paint dripped down onto the nonexistant ground, until there was a sizeable puddle of paint. He then grabbed the stem of another flower, dipped it in the paint, and drew a paintbrush of his own, being careful to use all the paint in its making. He smiled. Perfect. It should work similar to Amairis's.
He placed the necklace back around his neck, and used the fake but effective paintbrush to paint a staircase up to the top of the abyss. The paint seemed to appear from the paintbrush itself, much as Amairis's had. He climed the staircase as he made it, eventually getting to a height above the original hole, a good ten or so meters away. Remembering how his rival had done it, he painted a circle in midair, spun the paintbrish around, and hit it with the other side. It shattered similarly to glass, and he stepped out of the hole onto the real ground again. He was now a small distance from Amairis, but she was sure to see him as he got out of the hole.

Kallisto roared as the red mass hit her in the face obscuring her vision. Under any other circumstances she would have calmly pulled it off, but with such rage boiling in her she thrashed about wildly clawing at it, scratching her own face as much as the hair. The blow to the side didn't help her much either. "GET OFF!!" she howled. Finally she managed to shake it off, her eyes were fiery as she whipped around to find DG. Her gaze fell on him and she stalked forward teeth bared. She growled fiercely and broke into a run. Foam was at the corners of her mouth and she had a lust for blood. Truly she had lost control. "Death calls, human!"

The stage is set. It's now or never! Those words yelled through his head many times right when she started rushing him. His muscles tensed up so much the back of his neck and shoulders started aching from just the sheer tension. A burst of blood squirted out from all his open wounds. He let out a kind of battle cry(and if there were anyone else on the island they would be able to hear it) as he thrusted his sword straight out at her. He kept his head down, he could hardly feel the rest of his body. "Death does call, but for who?" He said with his breath. He knew that if she wasn't dead with this, he would be killed without being able to defend himself. He used the last of whatever strength and energy was left in him. He looked up to see what the final result of these attacks. Let the battle begin!

The sword sliced across her chest and Kallisto's eyes opened wide with the shock as her calm came back to her, but it was already to late for her to change what had happened, and just as DG's sword had cut her, she had cut him too. In that instant it had seemed to her as slow motion, but everything came back to normal as they parted. Kallisto hit the ground, rolled to the base of a tree, and there lay panting. DG went his own way. "I lost myself... How could I have let this happen?" she muttered to herself. She felt the wound on her chest. It was bleeding badly. "I suppose it's all over for me now... Hopefully I took him with me... Yet death is not something to wish for..." The roaring of the ocean came to her ears and the green of the trees caught her eyes, along with the smell of... Of course, those coconuts. It would have been nice to vist here, under other circumstances...

The stage is set.He saw her blood in a broken trail to the base of the tree where she lay. He was finally able to relax, but when the adrenaline stopped flowing, every bruise, every cut, every scratch, was searing in pain. He dropped to his knee and used his sword to support his own weight. Even in his pain, he couldn't help but chuckle a bit about what just took place here. "We met, we fought, we even taunted each other. But in all this madness, why did we do this? Are we just pawns in a twisted game? Was it fate that brought us here? Or are we just plain unlucky?" he asked calmly as he winced in pain. He collapsed on the ground right where he made his final stand. He couldn't help getting dirt and coconut milk in his wounds. He closed his eyes ready to rest and quietly said to Kallisto, "It'll be a while until someone comes and find us here."
