Gas prices here start at over $2.50 for regular last time I checked. It's probably more now.
I look at it this way. When my dad was in college it was under $2, but if you adjust the cost for inflation, it costs about the same today as then. It just looks like more.
It could be worse, in Europe gas prices are horrible, apparently. Something like $5 a gallon or something. Although, experts are predicting that oil prices are going to rise signifigantly by 2007 which means gas prices are going to shoot through the roof.
I don't know about you, but I'm think those hybrids are looking pretty good right now. sweatdrop

I was just passing by the gas station and I saw:
2.73 2.83 2.93
at the local Shell station.
It costs at least 40 bucks a pop now for me to fill my xterra.
