((Man, I'm so not used to being mean... ))
Katsu turned as Taiyo finished his small speech and went straight to the door in a huff, her face a deeper scarlet than before as he pointed out the audience to yet another stupid over reactive response of hers. She didn't bother looking back as he'd wished her a good evening, knowing there was no redeeming herself now. As she walked briskly through the slightly crowded sidewalk, her frustration built up and she knew she'd done it again. Made a fool out of herself.
'Will I ever be anything more than the stupid cat...?' she thought to herself, taking a sip at her blended coffee. As much as she didn't want to admit it after that little scene, she was enjoying it.
Katsuya took her time walking back towards the estate. She really didn't want to go back and face her aunt again. Even though she knew the woman really did care, and was just worried for Katsu, she didn't want to have to explain why she was upset. So, to pass the time, Katsuya found herself a public bench and plopped down to finish off her double chocolate frappuccino. She leaned her head back and closed her eyes in an attempt to clear her mind and calm down. Well, at least now she knew she could scratch off that bookstore for a job interview.
The sun was sinking in the sky and a cool wind fluttered through her short hair. She sighed and sat up before taking the last sip of her drink and tossing it into a nearby trash can.
"Who would hire a hot-headed idiot...?" she mumbled to herself as she stared up at the orange and pink colored clouds.

"A story?" Yuzu asked perplexed. "Uh well, never mind that. It's alright I can live here! It's already been a bit and besides I've already gotten used to the bugs!" she made a fist and raised it in the air. "And if I can stand up to them I can stand up against just about anything!" said Yuzu. It's true she hated bugs, cockroaches, spiders, wasps and all the way to the teeny tiny fruit flies that hove over your week old bananas. Shaking away the thought she added, "No, it's too much! I can't ask for that! I mean, I don't have much money right now but I can pay you! Just could I please stay just a little longer?" she pleaded. What could be so bad about the woods, bugs, raccoons, things couldn't be that bad. Could it?

Taiyo bagged up the next set of books handed to him for check-out and passed them onto the customer, he was rather lost in thought. He was relieved that Katsuya hadn't mentioned the estate, but he wasn't sure if that was because she hadn't been up there recently or Tokaru hadn't managed to burn it down yet. He would have asked but with how much he had already said he was pushing his limit. If he wanted to be yelled at no doubt he could just go back home. But after a lifetime of being yelled at, he rarely even noticed someone was raising their voice to him anymore. He glanced over at the clock, there's just a little more than half an hour left in his shift. He figured he'd drop the books off to Tokaru before heading home. He would need to help clean up if she made a mess of the kitchen or their mother would throw another fit and he really didn't feel like putting up with her tonight.

Akio shook his head. His face serious.
"No, you can't stay here. Aside from the fact its private property, its dangerous. There are landslides that happen every once in a while. If your caught in one you could die. You can stay at my house for tonight. And then in the morning you can gather your things and stay at a friends house. Your lucky. If you weren't so cute I would have you leave right now."
He grinned at touched her nose softly. He turned to Chris.
"We really should go..."

"For once I think I'll have to agree with my cousin, it does seem like a better idea for you to stay over at our place for tonight," Chris smiled. "It's not that far and there are the occasional weirdos prowling around, such as Akio himself..." he spoke quietly and turned around just to make sure she was following. "And naturally, it doesn't even occur to you to worry does it?" Chris asked quietly so Yuzuyu couldn't hear.

Chris's cousin, Akio, had caught her a little off guard as he reached towards her nose. 'Well, I don't think I'll get much say in this...' Yuzuyu thought, letting out a sigh as Chris agreed with his cousin. "But!" just sighing she dropped the subject. It felt as if they were keeping her under watch with Chris who kept turning around to make sure she was following. "But, can't I stay there for just a little longer? It's just that, Emiko lives in a one-room apartment and Kokoro has such a large family I couldn't possibly ask them..." said the brunette bringing the subject back up again. "Just for a few more weeks! I'll be out of your way before you even know it!" continued the girl, eagerly.

Eventually, Katsuya managed to wander back to the estate and gather the courage to face her aunt. But to her surprise, Aunt Suzu said nothing when Katsu arrived, and didn't even yell her complaints about Katsu leaving the sliding door open earlier when she'd left. This had to be a sign that something bad was about to happen. Katsuya cautiously walked further into the house until she reached the kitchen, and it was there that she spotted her aunt leaning against the counter beaming across the room at Katsu. It took her a moment to realize that she held the cordless phone in her hand and a mischeivious gleam in her eye.
"Glad you're back safely! And so soon, too! Did you have a nice walk, Katsu-chan?" she said softly, tilting her head as her smile turned sickeningly sweet.
"Yeah... sure. What the hell is up with all this 'nice' crap?" Katsu asked as her brow furrowed.
"Oh, well, while you were out I thought up a solution to our problem! Since Hikaru insists that you move from my residence, I thought that it would be a good idea that you move in with one of your cousins! Isn't that--"
"Which one?" Katsu cut across her before she could go any further.
"Well I was going to call Akio-san, I hear that a few more of your relatives are living there as well. So I thought it might be good for you if you bonded with the other members of the--"
Again Katsu interrupted. "No. I'm not living with that perverted--" This time Aunt Suzu interrupted. "Too late for that now. Your things are all packed and I've already dialed his number." she said with a grin as she pressed the 'Talk' button on the phone with a resounding 'beep'. Katusya's eyes widened and she made to grab the phone from her aunt, but to no avail. Suzu simply held out her arm and caught Katsu's forehead in her palm, keeping her an arm's length away. The old woman was surprisingly strong. Katsuya's arms flailed fruitlessly, her hands groping the air as she still tried to reach the phone. Even over her loud protesting she could hear the line ringing with the promise of doom in every tone.
((Hope this is okay. It seemed like the only way to keep Katsu intertwined in the story. I would have her ask to live with Chris and Satoshi, but that doesn't sound quite right. So this will have to do... if anyone doesn't like the idea, I'll edit this, I guess...))

Akio smiled and whispered so only Chris could hear.
"Hiro-kun is ever so much fun. but I do enjoy the female company every so often. Don't judge me."
He frowned and unlocked the door opening it for Chris and Yuzuyu. Hiro jumped on Akio as he stepped thru the door wrapping his arms around his neck.
"AKIO-KUN! YOUR HOME!!!"
He yelled. He then looked at Chris.
'BABY BROTHER!"
Hiro quickly grabbed the plate of burnt food and shoved it in Chris's face.
"Chris-kun be happy! I made you dinner! Its nutritious!" Akio groaned and poked it with his index finger.
"And probably not delicious...Well Chris-kun I brought take out in case you don't want it."
He laughed pleasantly and held up the bag. Hiro frowned and slapped Akio on the back of his head.
"Now now! Chris will be good and eat my healthy dinner I made! You put that greasy takeout away!"

It took Akio awhile to find the phone but he did pick up.
"Hello..?"
He said in a seductive way. If it was Hikaru he was going to have some fun. Instead he heard yelps and groans.
"My my, sounds like fun over there. May I join?" Hiro jumped on Akio's back and purred.
"A party? I love parties...I wanna come too Akio-kun!"
He pouted his bottom lip.

Once Katsu heard Akio's voice on the other end she struggled even harder. She started coming at her aunt from different angles but was blocked everytime as Suzu shifted away from Katsu's reach at the same time, maintaining her smile. Her reaction to Akio's answer was quite different. His seductive tone made her blush bright red and twirl about the kitchen as she dodged Katsuya's truly futile attacks.
"Oh my, Akio-san, you sure know how to make a woman's heart flutter! Ah, but if only there was a party here..." She took this time to sign dramtically into the phone before going on. "Alas my dear Akio, I must ask you to do me a rather large favor..." she pleaded in a sweet soft voice.
"Hang up! Hang up the phone right now! I won't!! You can't make me go!! There's no way in hell!" Katsu exclaimed as she tried again to leap for the phone without success.

Akio laughed.
"Ah! Suzu! My dear its been forever...I do miss you so..."
He let his voice drift for a moment to let his words sink in.
"What can I do for you? Throw you a littel party?"
He coughed.
"Perhaps...a privite party?" Hiro hit Akio hard on his head and sighed.
"If you really must hit on a woman, try not be so blunt." Akio laughed at Hiro's comment.
"Hiro...what on earth would make you think I was flirting? Heh.."
He coughed and turned from his friend.
"Back to that favor of yours..."

She laughed at what both had said, used to these types of phone conversations from just about anytime she had to call Akio. Though she had to admit, they always made her smile. And occasionally fill a potentially boring evening with flirtatious banter. She was, after all, the same age as him and conveniently just as single. But that was not the point of this call. She smiled despite herself as she answered.
"No, no parties, just a favor. You see, Hikaru has decided that it would be best if Katsuya were to move out from under my roof. And since I could only think of one person who might be kind enough to help a poor woman with a problem, I called you, Akio-kun. Now, I know it's a lot to ask, but I'm afraid I have no other options..."
"Liar!! You just wanted to talk to that pervy--" Katsuya started, but Suzu had put her hand over the girl's mouth and now held her there in the crook of her arm, careful not to suffocate her.
"Would you please, at least, consider it Akio-kun? For me?" she added, almost purring into the phone.

Akio smiled.
"Why of course I will! Anything to make a pretty lady smile."
He purred back. He sighed.
"Although, I don't think its best to keep her here. With Chris here and all. But, if its your last choice. And if Hikaru wants it so bad. I don't mind at all. Just promise you'll visit so we can talk face to face every once and a while?" Hiro pouted his lip.
"That seems hardly fair! An old man like you could never keep up with her! At least not as well as i could..."
He purred. Akio laughed.
"Reach puberty Hiro, and then we'll talk about who can keep up! But speaking of Katsuya's sake..."
He said completely changing his tone to be serious.
"I have to talk to her as well. There will be no doubt she's staying with me...but I have to know how she'll behave."

"She'll behave like a rabid bull getting a red flag shoved into his face constantly." Kaname stated simply, suddenly appearing beside Hiro with his arms folded across his chest. His golden eyes were cold with anger from the previous argument of the girl with the tent. He admitted he wasn't surprised Akio would take her in since she wasn't too bad looking, but if Hikaru found out, things would most defiantly get ugly.
Tora leaned against the counter after putting the pan in and stared up at the celing, thinking.
"Hmmm well there are so many options to choose from. Doing the opposite of the one we already made wouldn't be so different from the original anyway." she muttered to herself, not making much sense all the same. Then a lightbulb seemed to click above her head as she jumped up and and began to jump in place again.
"How bout we make a vanilla cake but then decorate it with little animals? Each one could represent a member of the Sohma family!" she shouted happily, giggling and clapping her hands.

Akio laughed at Kaname's comment.
"Sounds like fun!"
He shrugged.
"Bring her over! I live in a pretty big house anyways..."
He said counting all the people staying with him. He frowned realizing he was going to have to turn his study into a bedroom.
"When will she be arriving?"
He asked Suzu. Hiro smiled.
"Kaname-kun!"
He hugged his cousin.
"I made Chris dinner! Did you see!? Did you!"
He grabbed Kaname's hand and skipped over to Chris and the new girl smiling.
"Its going to get awfully crowded...we should all sleep in the living room!"
He looked around and frowned.
"If we can find the living room."
There was garbage everywhere definitely signifying that only men lived here.
