Morty snickered and tried to contain her amusement at it as she picked up Lily who was still gnawing on her wand and she gently took the wand away, "Lily, your mommy would be so disappointed in you! You're not supposed to be chewing your wand and your not supposed to be using magic yet, unless it is to go your mommy!" she said.
She set her down and reached over to pet Igni's mohawk, "I'm really so sorry about that Igni, she is still getting used to her magic. Don't worry, the color should wear off in a few minutes, this isn't the first time she has changed someones fur color." she giggled.

"As long as it wears off..." Igniculus muttered, seeming most unhappy. "I don't really want to stay green forever. I'm meant to be the colour of fire, not the colour of my nemesis. He would have a field day about this if he could see..." He began to dust off his fur as if it would help somehow. "I have to admit though, it's a neat trick..."
He crouched down in front of Lily, speaking softly to her. "How do you do magic, anyway, miss?"

Morty giggled when Lily just blinked at him and then yawned, "She can't talk just yet, but she will when she gets older. Her mother is a witch and her father is a wizard, so that is where she gets her magic from, though she has to be taught to control it better." she explained, setting Lily down beside the squawking brown baby kitsu.

"Oh.. neat. That explains the magic, at least." Igniculus grinned. "Meanwhile, I don't need a wand to tap into my elemental abilities. Later on, if you like, I can show you something completely, positively, and utterly awesome." He grinned, showing off his teeth, tails wagging.
Igniculus was very pleased at the prospects of having a chance to show off.

Morgy blinked at him and then smiled and nodded her head, "Sure, that sounds like fun!" she said, not seeing any harm at seeing him do something incredible with his powers.

Igniculus stepped back out of the way, ensuring he was a safe distance away from Morticia and her two charges so that he wouldn't hurt them.
"You uh... might wanna cover your ears if you don't like loud noises. Just a small warning there."
He lowerered his head, his blonde-yellow bangs obscuring his eyes. At first, it looked like he was just standing there and doing nothing. Then slowly, a circle began to smoulder around his feet, catching fire not long after. He raised his head again, grinning.
"This doesn't do much, but it looks awesome anyway," He chuckled. "However, this is a bit more effective..." Without warning, the entire Kitsusagi seemed to spontaneously combust in a giant ball of fire, disintergrating completely afterwards, leaving nothing behind but a few stray gold and orange feathers, which silently fluttered onto the ground.
Just a few moments later, there was a loud cracking explosion only a few feet away from the same spot where Igniculus had spontaneously combusted, and a large plume of fire shot up from the ground, forming into the Kitsuagi once again.
After it was over, Igniculus casually shook himself off, walking over to the three once more.
"Cool, huh?" He smirked.

Morty made sure the kits were beside her when Igni backed up and performed and you could clrealy see on her face she was impressed with him, as were the two pups and she clapped her paws for him, laughing happily.

Igniculus stood on his hinds, wings flared out, balancing precariously. He lowered his head, and bowed, chuckling. After another moment he fell forwards, catching his fall on his front paws.
"Glad you like it," He grinned. "That was just for show, but sometimes it can mean a matter of life or death for others." He raised his head, scowling, serious for a moment. "An Angelic only uses his powers for good, and his actions are tempered by kindness and good sense. He is the yin of the Kitsusagi world, and it's guardian."
He shook himself off, chuckling after that little speech. "And pretty darn awesome too, I must say." He gave the female and the kits a wink.

Morty sighed softly, "I wish I knew what my powers were, then maybe....I wouldn't feel so useless...." she said softly, gently pulling Lily's wand from her mouth.

"Hey! Er..." Igni frowned, "Cheer up! Just give it some time or something. You'll soon discover what your powers are. What kind of powers do your mother and father have? Or siblings?" He sat back on his heels, pondering. "Have you ever done anything unusual or strange that you couldn't control? Maybe something unsual happened when you were scared or angry?"
"You don't want to know how I discovered my powers." He chuckled, shaking his head. "I can tell you if you really want, but er... it's kind of embarrasing."

"Well, my mom is great at healing, but I don't know what powers my father or brother have. And I have never been angry or sad before, just always hiding." was all she said, gently carressing Yoska's belly, her gold eyes smiling at him.

"Hiding?" Igniculus blinked, deep purple eyes widening in confusion. The Kitsusagi was silent for a few moments, seeming positively baffled by the statment. "Whyfor? Everyone around you here seems pretty protective - this entire area emanates of being a safeharbour. I don't understand, what do you have to hide from?"
He turned his attention back to the path that led away from the area. "The plant-elemental hissy seems to want me dead, and he's succeeded a few times, but I'm not afraid, or about to go hiding from him."

Morty laid herself down, letting Lily and Toska crawl under on eof her wings, "I guess....I have always been afraid of everyone outside of my home....I've been that way since I was a baby." she said softly, not looking up at him.

Igniculus scratched his head, the confusion mounting further. Obviously, the concept of being shy was completely and utterly foreign to him.
"I still don't understand why, I mean..." He grinned at her. "You're not bad to look at. And you seem like you have a nice personality. There's some questionable types out there, but not everybody's bad. No reason to be afraid of going out there."

Morty blushed lightly when he said that and she finally looked up at him, "I don't know really, I really can't explain. Besides, no one really wants to be with someone who will hide in their wings the moment they meet them!" she said.
