{The line of the story that I have presented:} "Jaise?" She sighed and pulled out the purple liquid(again). She spread it on the open cut and watched as it formed a protective barrier from germs and more blood-loss. She then changed back into Surika and carried him on her back to his dorm room. {Fall is just something that grownups invented.}

"Well if that doesnt take the cake. KC can take care of herself up there for now, just go attack the thing Cyan." Ergo jumped off and ran to Jaise. He pulled out some of the healing salve and rubbed it over Jaises wounds. "Bleeding should stop, and the wounds should close." saud Ergo to himself. "HEY!!! DO YOU THINK THE ARCHERY RANGE WILL HAVE ALL THE EQUIPMENT THERE?!!" Ergo yelled to the two others who were still concious.

Jaise woke up in a bedroom. The thing is, it was his room. Looking around and trying to get his bearings, he saw the wolf-demon form of KC. "KC, you must think I'm weak. I'm sorry you have to see me like this..." His shirt was off, and Jaise looked at his side. There was a purple liquid where the wound was. It felt better, but not completely healed. "Forgive me, for you have to see me incapacitated."

That's why there's medicine to make us feel better. Ergo leaned against the wall, black blood smudged over some of his bandages, which surprisingly stayed in tact. "Don't worry, the thing escaped, bearly. It was practically a bag of blood with wings when it left."

And I was hoping that I'd be in good shape to ask you." Jaise looked at KC, and he sat up slowly. "KC, I'm your Guardian. I was sent here to this College to protect you. I am assigned to you. Now, you have a choice. Will you let me be your Guardian, KC?"

Jaise smiled and nodded. "It is settled then, KC. I am now your Gaurdian." He nodded again, then looked at Ergo. "Thank you. But I am sure that Shadow will be back again. I can't...fight...now..." With that, Jaise blacked out again. It looked like that Shadow did more than just wound Jaise.
