He smiled, nodding. "I agree. I try to meet one new person a night. My goal is to meet everyone in the city befor..." He paushed, then shook his head. "You took dance lessons? Or just a natural at being poerty in motion?"

"I've been a student of Capoeira for several years. And I prefer the dacning part of the nightlife, so I've had a lot of time to practice," she said. Lavina almost asked what he was going to say, but decided he'd tell her if he so wanted.

Hooper smiled. "I used to be quite a dancer when I was a bit younger. I know...I'm not that old, but soemtimes life can make you feel it." He smiled at her, "You are very graceful out on the floor. I've seen you before...men lined up to catch your attention."

"Thank you. I notice them too, but I'd prefer someone who was much more direct. I'd pay them more attention if they were brave enough to dance with me," she paused and continued with a smirk. "Or buy me a drink at least."

"Some just don't know how to treat a beauty sometimes," he smiled at her, feeling a little better already. He straightened up, and looked at her, "I admit...it's a reason I never tried to dance with you. All those guys around...hard to get close."

"Well now you know. I like men to show some confidence. Next time you feel up to it, feel free to join me," Lavina said. She shifted enough to make herself more comfortable.
She was pleased with her decision to have a seat. Maybe seeing this would inspire more of the watchers to come dance with me now, she thought.

"I will. However, it's not often I feel up to dancing," he looked to the dance floor. "Usually it takes a few days before I feel up to it, then the cycle starts all over."

"In that case, maybe I'll just have to keep your company at a table sometimes then," she offered. He seemed like a decent enough guy, he wasn't, as of yet, trying his hardest to get in her pants. Of course, she knew too well that it could change in an instant.

He nodded, then turned away to cough a bit. He caught his breath then looked down. "Sorry...it's...not a cold or anything. I mean...you won't get sick sitting with me." He looked really apologetic. He sipped his drink, as ifto keep his foot from getting to his mouth first.

."I wasn't worry about that," she said reassuringly. Lavina wondered if others he'd talked to ran off because he coughed.

"Oh? Why's that?" Lavina asked. She had a good idea, but it was better not to assume anything.

"Would you want to sit with someone sick?" He looked at her point blank. "Honestly?"

((Well, I'm lost after that burst of rp... sweatdrop ))
Jimmy saw a girl sit down to talk to Hooper and shrugged his shoulders. "Nevermind..." He went back to the bar and puffed on his cigarette. He was always missing chances with these people. It wasn't like any of them ever approached him, he guessed he was too good at intimdaiting people. Jimmy put on his best smile and looked around the bar again.

kaliskanny Bren nodded, picking up the bottle of scotch, and leaving the shot for the lady. "Right...anymore drinks and you'll have te ask the waitress." He blinked and looked at the ferret on his shoulder, then at Avery. "Ah...also...Torin don't prefer people finding tricks here. So if I were you...I'd be a bit more discreet. The chief isn't fond of that sort of buisness going on in the club. Ye don't want to find yerself blacklisted here, now." "Thanks for the heads up... Torin. Just let the boss man know I wasn't turning tricks here. I was picking up." Avery said with a wink and another pat to the young mans shoulder before resting his hand back on the table.
