Ryoku wasn't fazed by Umes reaction, he just chuckled and closed his eyes again. "Silly little Ume, there's no one better for you than me." he said after she'd gone. Deciding he didn't want to miss anything that could be important, he got to his feet and went back to where the others where, except he didn't allow them to see him.
Amaya turned from Shino to look at her pack mate. "Yes, did something happen?" she asked as she was dragged away from the others. "Ryoku didn't do something stupid again did he?"

"Just wondering. I'm sixteen." Ano chuckled when Kiba's stomach complained. "Well we could back to the village and cook something, but I prefer fresh game. The thrill of the hunt is very fun. Would you like to come hunting with me? I would be in my wolf form just so you know."
"They do come in handy when I need to listen beyond your normal hearing range," Setsu said. "Being a shape-shifter has it's good points."
Shino nodded at Ayame's wise words and watched as she was dragged away by Ume. then his ugs began to buzz around inside his body. They could detect the distinct chakra signature of Ryoku. He is going to be a lot of trouble.

Scratching the back of her head, Ume turned to face Amaya fully. "Well, you see. When your brother and I were talking he told me that I was his chosen but, I really don't know if I want to be or not." she explained.
At that comment Lee got an idea. "Hey, just to see how well your skills are against my taijutsu, would you like to spar with me later on?"

"Yes!" Setsu nodded enthuciastically at the suggestion. "I have not had a new apring partner for along time. It would a nice change from Ano-sama kicking my butt..."

"Me either! It's always Neji beating me all the time though.." he replied, looking a little sullen at the mention of Neji. "Anyways, what was going on with that guy and Kiba?"

At that Setsu's smile looked sad. "That was Ryoku. He is not what you would call a trusting person.... Plus how Ano-sama disiplined him earlier. You might want to avoid him whenever possible. He's not a bad guy it's just that he would do anything to protect our village. And I mean anything.

"Sure, that sounds like it'd be fun!" Kiba gave a little whoop which caused Akamaru to give a bark as well. "It will be interesting seeing how close I am to someone who actually is more...canine than me. I'll try not to slow you down, Ano-chan!"
Amaya giggled. "What does that have to do with me? If you like him then go for it. When it comes down to it, I don't think he'd force you to do anything. Though I think he really has his heart set on you, he talks about you quite often now." She could sense her twin close by but didn't say anything about it since he just seemed to be watching. "Our village has grown smaller so be glad that you have at least some good options. I don't have that kind of luck though. Even though I'm skilled, no one wants a 'handicapped' mate." Her hand reached up and touched beside her blind left eye, then gave a sigh.
Don't say or think such things, Amaya. The guys in or pack are just idiots.
And it doesn't help any that you chase anyone who shows interest in me away.

Yuki got up from beside the Aburame and took ahold of his jacket between her teeth and gave it a yank. Not hard enough to rip it, just enough to get his attention. She never was the type to want to stay in once place for too long and decided that she'd go for a walk, with company of coarse.

Ano laughed out loud. "Alright then! Let's get hunting!" Dropping to all fours, lights shimmered around her body and then a light brown wolf with purple eyes was in her place. Yipping she turned and walked back into the forest. Looking behind her, she made she Kiba was following along with his dog.
Looking down at Fuki, Shino noticed she seemed to be a little restless. "I guess we are taking a walk," He said as he followed her. I wonder where she's taking me...[/color]

"Shino, Lee, we'll meet up with ya in the village!" Kiba called as he and Akamaru took off after Ano. He found that he could keep up easily as they ran but he was more curious about their hunting abilities than their speed. He and Akamaru went hunting often back home as everyone in his family loved fresh meat. As they ran through the forest he stopped suddenly, his nose picking up the scent of deer.
When she saw that she was being followed, Yuki let go of Shinos jacket and gave a wag of her tail. She led him to the path that headed towards the village but got off that one a moment later and followed one that sloped up. This one led to the top of the cliff would give a great view of their small village.

Shino waved to Kiba as he left with Fuki. Watching a few butterflies float by he noticed how peaceful it was here. When they reached the cliff, Shino let out a small gasp. "It's beautiful," He said.
Having smelt the deer also, Ano sniffed the ground and wagged her tail. She sniffed the air and walked silently down a path beaten down by many hoof prints. Looking back she noticed that Kiba seemed to pick up on things faster than she had thought. Delighted by this and the prospect of a rewarding hunt, Ano let out a low yip and lifted a paw to point out into the field. Many deer were present but there was a old buck who was straining to keep up with the herd.

((streaked it's Yuki not Fuki. Though I might mixed them up myself as I do have an oc who has a pet bird named Fuki XD Yuki=snow (the wolf is white) Fuki= Freedom (for the birdie)))
Yuki gave a happy bark as she went to the cliffs edge. In another moment a swarm of butterflies came floating up from below, returning to their home as the sun went down.
Kiba nodded and looked to Akamaru. "You wait here in case it tries to come this way. Ano and I'll circle around the front to separate it from the rest of the herd." Akamaru gave a snort and watched as his owner ran off into the field, keeping lower so not to be seen.

"I've never seen anything this peaceful." Shino sat down and watched the butterflies fly and soon a few of them drifted towards him. Landing on his finger, they rested their wings.
Following close beside Kiba, Ano she kept close to the ground also though her fur was better camoflague than Kiba's coat was. As they got closer, her blood heated at th thought of fresh meat. In her wolf form she could eat raw meat and it would digest normally in her halfway form.

Ryoku followed Kiba and Ano on their hunt, staying far enough back and down wind so that he wouldn't be caught. Then he changed his mind and shifted into his wolf form and circled around the other two and the herd of deer. He charged out of the woods right into the herd of deer, spooking them and causing them to turn and run the other way, right towards Kiba and Ano.
While he kept one eye on the other two, he took down a fawn that had been knocked off its feet by an adult at the sudden change in direction. After he mad the killing blow, he sat next to it with his head held up. This one would be for himself and Amaya. He wouldn't let her touch anything that the human had.
Yuki flopped over so that she lay on her side, head resting in Shinos lap. In a few moments her eyes fell shut and she rested.

Ano saw the wolf form of Ryoku and her eyes narrowed. Growling she had the urge to just take care of him then and there, but there was the problem of the deer rampaging towards her and Kiba.
She quickly grasped a bucnh of Kiba's coat in her teeth and yanked him out of the way. They barely escaped the dangerous hoofs. Knowing they needed the meat, Ano attacked the old buck herself. Dodging the horns, she swerved and clamped down on it's neck. The buck tried to shake her off, but she hung on until the deer's stregth wavered and she saw her chance. Biting down she crushed it's esaphogous. It hit the ground with a thud. The rest of the herd was long gone and over the hill.
Absentmindedly, Shino stroked Yuki's head as the butterfly flew away.
