Cassandra was a bit impressed, "Wow very good. Anthros are harder to make though. It's all about the DNA."
Cluadia groaned feeling her skin crawl, 'What the heck have they done to me?'

He hit a few keys, Cluadia's facial features changing shape slightly, then returning to normal, and her skin began to lighten again, although much slower. "Good...anyway, how is your work going to benefit anyone? Once I hand control over to Cluadia, and she gets used to it, she should be able to effectivelly mimic the apperance of any human female of the same height and eye color!"

Cassandra shrugged, "Who knows...if we ever get back with the goverment the anthros could be in some use as defence army. Foxs are sly which they could be used as spys if needed."
Cluadia sighed now somewhat back to her normal self. She raised her hand over to Richard, "Hey um you...could you please turn t hat light off?"

"True, but...will they ever have a chance of a normal life?" He dimmed the lights, and pressed a few more keys, before hitting enter with a proud finality. He smiled at Cluadia. "The dermal motors in your body are now under your mental control. It may take some getting used to. Changing the general shape of your features should only take a few seconds, adding or removing pigment should take about a minute. You can even change the color of hair that grows from your head! You can't change the existing hair, but only that which is growing, and only in natural colors."

Cluadia blinked not really understanding a word he said, "Umm....I'm seventeen....can you put that in my terms?"
Cassandra giggled at the girl's questioned, "Basically what Richard is saying is that once you get use to your body you can change into who ever you want."

"Now, it's time for you to return to your..." Richard frowned. "Dang...don't we have anything better than those cages we call cells? You stay here, I'll be back soon..." He held up his mop proudly, and rushed into Cluadia's cell.

Eben sneered at Richard. "You're far too kind to them. I'm going to get one of my subjects and then you'll see the work of a master genetic engineer."
Back in his cell, Kerik was wondering whether he'd be taken today. Unfortunately, he was. A pair of guards came into his cell and seized him, dragging him, kicking and flailing determinedly, into the operating room.
As soon as Kerik was strapped down, Eben stepped forward and smiled unpleasently. "If you're expecting me to tell you that this is for the good of mankind, you can go to hell. These expiriments are only for my own purposes. Now, hold still, or I won't give you the trank." Kerik finally stopped wriggling and Eben injected him with the sedative. "Night night." He said, laughing.

Cassandra moved from Cluadia who was obviously wasn't going to run away. She walked over to Eben, "So what is going to be Eben?" She asked a bit curious.

Eben smiled and held up a vial he'd been working on for a while. "This. It contains a constructed DNA that, if it were natural, would have come from a dragon. You have no idea how much work I've put into this. I have, of course, replicated it, just in case this batch fails. It won't be the size of the dragons of legends, and there might be a few hiccups, but I think that when it's finished bonding, the subject will strongly resemble a dragon." He looked very satisfied with himself.

"You will." Eben said. "The operation is starting now." He pulled out a series of syringes, then started pouring small amounts of the serum into each. Then he stuck them in at key points and one after the other pressed the releases. The serum was released into Kerik's system and began to bond with his cells. "Finished. Now all to do is wait." He said cheerfully.

Cassandra sighed and acted like she was sad, "Waiting that's the only bad part about these projects is waiting to see wether you got it right or not."

As the guards removed the still unconcious Kerik, Eben said "I don't mind the waiting. And if they fail, oh well. There's more humans to expiriment on."
