And i wouldn't call his JSA or Titans runs "rehashed crap".

I like Johns now. sweatdrop
He used to be on one title I read (The Flash), then for a while he seemed to be everywhere at once, and I liked all those stories.

He's a good writer, although Kyle has every reason to not like him since he was the trigger man for bringing Hal back. That's no reason to disgard all of his work though.

My word on Johns has always been that he gets the small details right, but I'm not a big fan of his overall stories, especially when he tries to spring a 'surprise' on us. In retrospect, his Flash run had merits, even though there were (obviously) some big decisions in it I absolutely hated.

My dislike of the Flash run aside (and I think even Geoff himself would admit it wasn't his best writing), he'll have my fealty eternally for fixing that entire Jericho debacle. I don't even read Teen Titans and that bothered me immensely.

I don't even read Teen Titans and that bothered me immensely. That issue when he brought Jericho back was awesome. The "Only my friends can look me in eye" line had me really close to muling the character.

Yeah, I may get that in trade when I can justify the purchase to myself. With McKeever coming up as the new Titans writer and Supergirl being on the team and whasisname doing art, I think I'll add it to my monthly purchases to take the place of X-Factor.
Which sucks lately. mad Damn Civil War has really brought out the worst in PAD's writing.

2 - This isn't shitting on anything of any worth because the stories that were produced from the Bart As Flash aftermath were less than worthless. I would hazard to say that any product of this last crisis that didn't directly effect the big three was a mistake they DC will be trying to correct for years.
3 - If you think it was Wally fans that did this, that they are powerful enough to get in one year what it took Hal fans ten years to happen, I have some magic beans I can sell you. They grow purple volvos with excellent milage.
It's mystifying how you could compare the two. Might as well tell me peanuts are a form of poison ivy.
