oORoadOo Chloe Lockheart oORoadOo Chloe Lockheart oORoadOo Chloe Lockheart A young gypsy woman, with black and red hair and bright dark green eyes hums quietly under her breathe as she looks around for a nearby customer. Since she was a gypsy, she was mostly shunned by normal society, for being a scammer, a thief. Well, they were mostly right.
'Gotta eat to live, gotta steal to eat~' She said to herself, her motto on how she lived. Her dark green eyes continues to scan the crowd from her deep purple clothed booth, her hands slowly making motions around her crystal ball which she used to see people's fortunes. If there was something she didn't scam about, ( although nobody believed her in it ) was that she could have a special ability to predict fortunes for people. Hardly anyone here believes her, and her heritage doesn't help either.
She keeps humming however, a quiet gypsy lullaby her people taught her as her hands continue to move over the ball, her gold bangles and bracelets making soft cling noises.@Debitto: (( LIES! >_> <_<...okay you're right. ;A; )) @Balmik: (( indeed! 8D MAKE IT SO!!! ))
The fairy, who had now gotten tired of jumping from person to person, caught sight of the young gypsy, fluttering over to her shoulder, choosing her as the last person to talk to before she went back hom to her own kingdom.
"Miss Gypsy Miss Gypsy, stealing some food. Watching the people, who are acting so prude...." She whispered in the young girl's ear and she sat on her shoulder.(( YESH! )) @Winged: (( I love all of the songs! <333 )) The gypsy woman lifted upher head, she thought she had heard someone call to her, but..it appears as if there was no one.
'Strange...maybe...what if...' As she was pondering, she heard her stomach growl. She gives a sigh, the sound of her stomach growling as something she was quite used to, she didn't get much to eat unless she stole a decent stash.
"Alright then...lunch time I guess." She said to herself as she stands up, grabbing a pink and white shawl to cover her head, keeping her identity hidden as half of her face gets covered.
She looks around, trying to figure out which food booth had an unweary owner today.
She smiles a big smile as she sees the jackpot only a few paces in front of her; an apple stand. She quietly jogs to the stand and quickly snatches 2 apples from it, then just as quickly she runs off, walking quickly into the crowd to lose herself in.@Livverz: (( owo Welcome home! ))
The fairy giggled on the girl's shoulder, seeing that this girl was more into mischief than one would've thought at first. " Miss Gypsy Miss gypsy the apples you take, do not hurt you at night and keep your conscious awake? then mischief you're into and trouble you cause, let's see what you do when the world is at a pause..." She giggled.
The fairy, deciding to use her own powers for once to entertain herself with this girl, activated her time magic and paused everyone and everything that lived in the kingdom.
"Miss Gypsy Miss gypsy, If I may say, you've been granted the honor of being my entertainment for today~" She whispered into the girl's ear, and waited for her reaction to the current situation.(( Dude, it'll be cool if we can keep like a rhyming theme to this! 8D )) The gypsy heard the sing song voice again and looks up to see who was calling to her. What she saw surprised her to say the least, everyone had stood still!
No clamor, no vendors shouting their goods, no daily gossip from the housewives, no children screaming and playing in the streets.
The gypsy had come to a conclusion, this must be the works of higher beings, spirits, fairies, gods even....her people were very spiritual, not like the organized religion who only believed in one god, she was a polytheist, she believed in many as opposed to one.
A mischievous gleam came to her eyes and she answers into the wind.
"Well, I can probably pickpocket as I much as I please, and steal what I please without getting caught. And so I will~" She answers back in a sing song voice, running around the kingdom, taking whatever she could carry.@Livverz: *giggles and smiles a gypsy smile*
What would you like me to look into?
*moves her hands over her crystal ball*
((Definitely would be cool! I'm trying my best to keep rhyming! XDD ))
The fairy grinned mischievously and clapped her hands, " Miss Gypsy Miss Gypsy please try to be more bold....." She spotted what seemed to be a rich man, frozen in time. Walking the streets as any other person would, though his clothes were adorned with the finest of jewels and the fabric itself was made of the finest silk one could imagine. " That man over there, has a wallet made of gold. His jacket is silk, his shoes were handmade, I'm sure stealing from him, the highers would never forbade."
Pulling on the girl's ear lightly and showing her the direction that the man stood in time, she once again waited for the gypsy girl's reaction.(( I also like how we don't have names either...adds in to teh charm heart and I totally see this as like..an actual fairy tale! 8D )) The gypsy turned her head to what she felt like her head was being pulled at, in the direction of a young lord. The voice was indeed right, this man was covered in the finest of riches, down to his very pore. She steps to his direction and walks around, as if inspecting. Her curious eyes widen at the sight of his jewels and she feels the soft fabric of silk and velvet. Very rich indeed~
"Hmmm, this man must be of royalty if he has jewels and fabrics of this calibur. I wonder however, why is someone so important as he, wandering around the artisan area, with no protection, no guards, no weapons either?!" She exclaims in surprise.
She gives a mischievous smile as she starts to pickpocket his jewels, adding on to her stash, her arms was soon starting to get heavy with her stash.
'I could most definitely pawn these to buy me food for a year!' She giggles in her mind happily, finally being able to feed her aching, growling tummy for more than 3 days in a row.@Sayuri: (( :3 Welcome home! OAO <3333 Can't wait!! x3 ))

((I know! I was thinking the same thing about the names! It would be awesome to see it as a picture book and stuff...o3o))
The fairy laughed as the man's pockets were picked and giggled happily, fluttering near her ear for a moment, before flying over to the man and poking out some of his smaller jewels for herself. Then as she fluttered back to the shoulder of the young Gypsy, the man moved.
He frowned, turning to face the Gypsy girl and the invisible fairy, which to him was not invisible at all. "You two are a sad pair, causing such mischief and despair. Seeing a rich man at your door, does not constitute stealing from him and giving to the poor...whoever they may be...." He voiced himself.
The fairy was shocked and stared at the man, she had been sure that she had frozen time for everyone non-magical in the kingdom, then how could he have...." Dear sir if I may place this question upon your plate...my frozen time...how did you escape?"
((Think we can both do the part of the mysterious wizard man right...? ))
