I miss the 90's when Mark Waid made sure I was notoriously absent for any and all Crisises.

Kyle has now decided to take some time off. The stupidity has overwhelmed him. He says that apparently he was wrong about Tim being next. He says that Tim must be next after this.

And some other choice words. eek

Exactly.

This is the same Kyle who absorbed the Central Power Battery. The supposed yellow fear bug and all. Kyle was the nexus of the Green Flame, and all that it encompassed.

I just dont see Kyle giving into fear and having his mind dominated by this so-called Parallax "entity." Kyle survived torture by Desaad without breaking. Kyle was able to control his ring after being shut out by Mageddon. He was even able to fight the temptation to recreate reality when he first became Ion.

Kyle is FAR too much of a hero to give in to a bad retcon yellow fear bug.
All this, of course, ignoring the fact that Parallax is not a "thing," Parallax is Hal Jordan when he lost his mind and tried to mulligan the universe.


Of course, all this happened before Superboy's reality-punching tantrums. Thanks Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Schiver.
