((It dose? No negotiation? Just death? Usually surrender means that there is some negotiation in there somewhere. That's why it's called 'surrender': she answers to them so she doesn't die. Doesn't having her as an ally or something interest him at all? Why do you have to be so difficult? It's because you see where this is going, don't you. *sighs* Well, anyway, I gotta go. And that's just the way Felipe works. Laura interfered by sending in Lawliet, Lawliet interfered by ******** up, and now Felipe is out for blood. He doesn't believe in negotiations - at least with people who shouldn't have been involved in the first place. If he gets Lawliet, he'll just want to kill him, and if he gets Laura, he MIGHT, just MIGHT, want to pick her apart to see how she operates and how she's been conditioned. Just MAYBE.
But the possibility is highly unlikely. Felipe's probably going to just get a blood sample, poke around Laura's brain to find out what she knows, and then kill her and make it seem like an accident. Either that or use her as a ransom to get something out of the assassin-guild that trained her. Felipe is NOT someone you wanna mess with.))

Trist looked up from her chair against the window, looking up at the dark-haired woman who seemed all-too-cocky leaning against the doorframe and smirking.
She doesn't look like a nurse, Trist thought. Her instincts were screaming at her to pull her Glock out, get a grip on her switchblade tucked into a boot, anything.
But she kept her cool, reminding herself she shouldn't have anything to worry about. She hoped. Ignoring her gut for the first time, she kept her hands right where they were, one holding her head up and resting on the armchair, the other tapping out a beat from her iPod.
She raised her head off her hand, wariness in her eyes, looking at Jasmine with a can-I-help-you tilt to her face.

Jasmine met Trist's gaze with her own eyes, although hidden by orange shades. She then reached a hand into her pocket--probably alarming Trist in the motion--and retrieved a white card with silver, embossed writing on the top. She placed the card on a desk, turned, and walked out of the room, without uttering a sound. Neither Beans nor Trist knew the person, and Claire had not seen Jasmine enter or exit.

Trist's heart began thudding hard against her ribs and she reached for the inside pocket of her jacket as Jasmine's hand went to take out... A card?
Taking out her gun but keeping it behind her and out of view from the door, Trist walked over to inspect the mysterious piece of paper. She didn't touch it and kept her distance, almost as if it were a venomous snake or something.
