Abel dashed inside behind Shadow, following his path of destruction as he ventured to the lower ward. Abel stopped behind him as he forced open Cassidy's tomb.

I ran after Shadow, following him and Abel, who met us halfway, 'I knew it was her' I thought as Shadow crashed into doors in a panic until we got to the room she was hidden in. I couldn't imagine waking up in the crypt, alone, after all that had happened, she was probably freaked out. "Cassidy" I said out of breath as I got there with the two of them

Cassidy continued to scream louder the scream twisting in the air and ready to pierce the eardrums of those who heard her. She couldn't move, all she could do was scream. Her face was stony still and held no emotion her teeth shone in the dark and she screamed louder and louder still. She couldn't form words she could only cry out in utter agony in the purest form. Her lips were formed in the shape of help me but the words didnt come out.

I looked over to Cassidy, her screams were so loud, but her eyes weren't open and she wasn't moving, just her mouth. "Shadow, do something" I said clueless as to what could be done, it was like she was trying to wake up but something wasn't letting her. I walked to her side, and held her hand, she was stiff as a board, like she was dead, maybe caught somewhere between our life and death, "Shadow, what do we do?" I asked completely shocked and dumbfounded

Cassidy felt the touch but she couldn't respond. SHe continued to scream. It coursed through her and continued to rip from her lungs as terror mixed with the agony in her voice.

Shadow didn't know what to do. He had never needed to deal with this before. The screams he could cope with but waking someone up from thsi state was differant. "I don't know what to do. I'm not a doctor, I can't wake someone from this state." he said.

Abel's breath was caught in his throat. What was keeping Cassidy from waking up? Last time something like this happened he was unable to do anything. All it did was provoke the demon. He headed around her other side and took Cassidy's other hand, a panicked gaze darted to Shadow. Cassy felt dead almost like rigormotis had set in but she was still alive.

My gaze darted from Abel back to Shadow a few times, a little panicked. "What should we do?" I asked looking around thinking of how to get her out of this state. "Shadow, I've never heard of anything like this before, feel her, it's like she's dead" I said holding her hand up to him, "I have no idea, I'm at a loss with this one.... where's Nadea when you need her?" I said under my breath, my mind racing from one probable solution to the next.

"This is all too weird. I have never seen anything like this either." Abel agreed. "Last time I tried something it only made things worse. Its up to you Shadow." he added another level of panic setting in. His mind darted from one solution to the next.

I held onto Cassidy's hand as she continued with the blood-curdling screams, "Cassidy, if you can hear me, we're here" I said hoping that might help even a little bit. "Shadow's here with Abel and Myself, we're going to help you" I uttered thinking about everything I could come up with, but talking to her might calm the screams, it just might help us a little. I looked down, unable to come up with an answer, I held back my tears but a few escaped and landed in Cassidy's hand, "we have to help her" was all I could say as I looked up to Shadow

Cassidy could feel them hear their voices but all she could do was scream. Finnally the scream started to twindle and then slowly, slowly it died, and her lips closed, they were slightly raised as though to ask for a kiss, or pherhaps to whisper instructions to save her. She wanted to tell them to save her help her, she didn't know how to wake up. She was fighting her body, but it refused. Her undead corpse seemed lifeless. Her lips were slightly opened her eyes still closed. She fought the screaming voices in her head and screamed over them, she was praying they could read her thoughts. SAVE ME! HELP! She didn't know what to tell them. THen the voice in her head whispered to her, you will never wake, this isn't a fairytale, you won't wake my child.... the voice hissed in her minnd. The words were like flames licking at her brain and her eyelids.
Cassidys face crumpled, that was movement. A hoarse whisper escaped her throat her and lay upon her lips, "S-Save...."

The words died upon her lips, and then her face returned to smooth alabaster and the screams poured from her once more, ripping her life with them. Her already pale, ivory face, faded to gray and then began losing all color, becoming translucent.

Shadow had no new ideas on how to fix this. Nothing made sense here. "I hate this fairy tale bull but I think it is worth a try." He said as he leaned into the tomb and gently kissed Cassidy. He didn't think this would work but he had it was better to try something reather than nothing. "Wait... her body is probably in extream rigor... she has been lying still for so long. I had the same problem when i first woke from my long sleep but the scream... I don'y know what is going on"

"Shadow can I try something? This is most likely Lilith's doing, and dark magic can cancel other dark magic." Abel questioned. Things were getting worse and worse and losing Cassy was not an option. He was beyond frustrated right now and they were running out of options.

Cassidy could feel the pressure of Shadow's soft lips against hers. She could see his shadow through her eyelids. She could feel her three friends. SHadow's sweet scent overwhelmed her as she lie whilst receiving his kiss. She didn't know why he had kissed her though. (Cassidy had been kept and raped in a basement, she never watched a princess fairytale) She could hear the voice scream inside her head, which sharpened every note of her own as it poured from her. Then suddenly it stopped. It stopped so abruptly that it seemed as though someone had flicked off the scream switch and put it on silence. Her lips closed tight, and her body remained imobile.
Then slowly feeling came back to her starting in her toes and fingertips. She couldn't move not yet, but she was able to slightly cause her fingers to twist up against Abel, and Vicki's hands. The pain in her mind was still searing, but the voice had retreated to whispering once more. Excitement grew in her mind she could move!
'Foolish child!' the voice hissed. ' You're mine!' the voice quickly usurped her regained power and twisted back into Cassidy's mind. Her fingers became imobile once more, but she fought the urge to scream quick edit
