Hebal gasped a little in surprise, as a result almost dropping the contents of her fork "No way are you thining of girlfriendsies yet! Last time I checked you were all scared in case you got cooties from one since getting a girlfriend means you gotta go all kiss kissy" she giggled patting his shoulder as she looked up at the results of the fights flashing on a screen at the opposite part of the street "Woo Seph got through again as expected... though her eye looks kinda battered I'm sure she's fine anyway" she shruged it off cheerfully.

Alanu nodded bringing her sword back out "Yeah thats perfectly fine so long as you dont do anything with intent to cause serious injury to them, you know like for example smacking them across the head when their back is turned with the blade. But you could grab hold of em and toss em away from their weapon" she explained swishing her sword about through the air "I believe your demon friend Seph won one of her matches like that though if one opponant flies and the other cant its against the rules to put their somewhere impossible for the none flyer to reach" she assured her.

Mari giggled picturing Seph holding Itaka's sword above his head "Ok well I wouldn't wanna cause serious injury" she said happily "My biggest concern would be keeping my dark abilities under control" she said raising her sword for round 2.
Zadina blushed instantly regretting his words "Of course not!" he snapped "Girls do have cooties I was meaning somepoint in the future when I have developed an immunity to the cooties disease" he said sagely before glancing at the screen "It does look bad but nothing a little white magic couldn't fix." he said.

Hebal couldn't help but burst out laughing almost choking on her milkshake in the proces "Hehe your reactions are like so funny Zadina, you should have cooty resistence by your age silly. But I suppose your right about that eye of hers... the whole tournament is just silly to me getting hurt and stuff" she quietly complained wiping the milkshake from her mouth "Seen any girlies you like the look of while here?" she teased.

Alanu frowned rubbing her head briefly in thought "Sorry I can't be much help to you although... if it bothers you we could rrange for someone to seal away all your skill type abilities so theres not risk of that happening" she pondered waving her sword around casually "The way its going you're going to be injuring yourself rather than someone else"

Mari frowned "You think so? How?" she asked "I mean I know they are a drain on me but I seem to get provided with enough potions to keep that under control" she said sitting down on the edge of the bed.
Zadina shook his head "No of course not Miss Hebal I don't like girls yet!" he snapped blushing as he frantically drank his milkshake "And yes I suppose the tournament is a bit silly but almost everyone who fights is ok in the end" he said.

Hebal paused distracted slightly as the screen announced that Gil would be appearing next "Aww thats a shame since Amane speaks so highly of you. But never mind all that drink your milkshake at a sensible pace or else you'll have to... get brainfreeze which is only cured fast by me shaking you upside down or I could.... fetch Hayate from over there to tell you off" she laughed playing with her straw.

Alanu scratched her head trying to work out how best to avoid offence "Yeah I know we provide you with the potions but you do seem to tire out quite quickly so as soon as your not 100% prior to a battle it looks like you could be potentially in serious trouble later" she admitted running her fingers along the blade "You do worry one or two of the judges a little"

Mari sighed "I don't think I'm that bad, potion's are cheap enough and my friends support me" she said sitting up "Besides I normally don't plan on letting a fight last long enough for my abilities to become a problem" she said.
Zadina waved to Hayate hoping he would come over and join them "Yes Sir Gil's fight should be over quickly" he said not thinking much of his opponent before turning back to Hebal "But...what did Miss Amane say about me..." he said stirring his milkshake shyly.

Hebal frowned scrunching up her napkin then tossed over the crowd and into the back of Hayate's head to get his attnetion "That will make him spot us! Amane told me she thinks your magic is awesome and next time she hopes that she can play with you more cause shes been practicing that magic you taught her whatever that means"

Alanu smiled giving her the blade "They are just concerned because they know little about you and don't know of your white mage friends. And then theres just the stingy ones to ignore who are moaning about the cost of the x-potions. But hey don't let them put you off, go impress them against paladin lady who is thought to go far in the tournament" she encouraged
Hayate rolled his eyes across the street from where Hebal and Zadina was sitting, he looked around for a moment before finally spotting them then changed direction towards them throwing the napkin back at Hebal's ear

Mari chuckled "I will, though I have no idea what a 'paladin' is I expect she'll be no match for my samurai Bushido" she chirped happily "That is if I don't accidentally get myself disqualified again" she giggled "I suppose I'm one of the more problematic contenders what with Sophia an all" she said
Zadina giggled pleased to hear Amane had been working on his magic "Just a little game we played while I visited, we'll need to get the nice big Gria photograph sometime soon now we've got toys and dresses to send her" he said happily waving to Hayate "Hello Mister Hayate how are you doing?" he asked sipping his milkshake while hearing a loud cheer from the sports bar across the street as Gilgamesh was declared victor by knockout in his match

Hebal smiled and waved to Hayate giggling a little as the napkin hit her "Heya Hayate sorry about that but you were gonna miss us and stuff. Anyway how are ya and what ya got" she asked noting all the shopping bags he was carrying "What little game did you play with her, you can't be so vague to me cause its a mommas job to be nosey Zadeena!"

Alanu raised her eyebrow in surprise "You really don't know what a paladin is? Felina's big sister... Elithana is one you know? They are like the opposite of dark knights in the sense they use holy magic and some healing abilities. And yeah you are kinda a source of mumbling complaints because your so high maintainence though see it as an honour your getting so much luxury" she chuckled.
Hayate sighed pulling up an extra chair to relax "Hey you two. Just picked up a bag or 12 of shopping and from the looks of it you have done the same, my lot being mostly clothes. Incidentally, I hope that napkin you threw at me was clean" he greeted them before calling the waitress over to take an order speaking in grian

Mari nodded understanding "I see yes I know her" she said lying down beside Sophia. "And I guess I am honoured to have such good care taken of me but I can't say those X-potions are especially tasty" she giggled.
Zadina nodded making a small ball of white magic appear before Hebal "Just this little trick, basic white magic stuff" he said making the little ball disappear. "Still that's a lot of clothes Mr Hayate....whats in all the bags" he said trying to peek inside one.
