is that so? in that case one of my characters is affected too, lol.

i see then. sounds like lots of fun.

(on another note, tiffany and natalia....would be a very dangerous fight...neither can block the other...lightning causes fire, and smoke can cause lightning...so the two would escalate each other very badly....not a pretty fight at all...well. there will be lots of flashing lights, so it'd be PRETTY...but....yeah.)

hm. it is earlier than i would have expected it...i will look forwards to hearing the reasoning. as it stands natalia will not be pleased. not only are all the opponents still at strength, but they are gathered in one place, and both convinced that lightning is neutral. attacking now makes the clan bring attention to themselves. besides, the earth clan is there. one of the main reasons...nevermind. i won't say that in chat...but still...nat will be agitated. i will see what happens first though.

basically Natalia told her parents and the other elder members to only attack when the earth clan was weak. possibly fire too, but mostly earth. that was supposed to be the trigger. something very bad must have triggered an early entrance....either way she will be pissed.

i'm sad that zach and natalia will never get to fight though. without that fight, i think his clan won't fair well in the war. something tells me this...but i don't have proof.

wait...i think i know why it'd be a good reason to attack now. ice will fall for sure. the fire side, and the ice' allies will still be there....but air will be torn to shreds without the protection ice granted them. earth is the real power, but because ice and fire are both present at all,at the same time, they will lose... at least this is all by elemental properties... there is no consideration for talents, but i wish to see the extent of ice training. either way, ice cannot fight fire and lightning simultaneously. and earths ion dispersion properties will be over run because ice is set to combat fire. all in all this will be a terrible fight, but it's probably even better than waiting. never mind....yeah. all of the properties of the clan's enemies work against each other.

alright. earth will fall first actually. strategically it works, and it eliminates lightning's most annoying adversaries. i have the battle field in mind now. attacking right as earth and air join the fray works out for the best. air has an overpowering advantage over fire, so waiting too long will wipe out too many fires for the plan to work, which means striking as soon as earth joins the fray is wisest. you can eliminate all of the earth forces before the ice clan fixes what they would be doing, which would open them up to the fire clan. keep fire and ice near equal. take out air after earth so they don't kill off fire. water remains neutral, but would be obliterated if they even attempted an attack on lightning, so that leaves fire, ice, and lightning left in contention. air would have gone straight for fire, because of convection...this means that fire would be cut down to near equivalency with ice. unless someone leaks information, this puts lightning at a strong advantage. earth would be turned to glass, since disbursement was overcome. then a single lightning mage with a box of metal could have finished the job against earth. at any point ice changes targets to defend earth, it leaves itself open, and so it would have to leave earth to its fate. you may be wondering how this bit of magic works, but i'd need to show you in a fight.


but on an unrelated note...why would lightning mobilize? it seems out of the elements nature. lightning plans and gathers very heavily before a strike. it isn't like fire, with its passion, or ice with it's resistance to change. it doesn't tend to be sporadic or whimsical like air... a small team of scouts would be more likely a sign of war then battalions. the scouts would find a weakness, or some way to a vital spot, and then the entire force would push through that point, kill the vital thing, then pull out....full battalions allowing themselves to be spotted before the strike just seem out of character.
