They only sell those cap type ones, from what I've seen.
I need one like this:
Nevermind that I'm basing the rest of my costume on the first graphic novel.

It's still a good idea to check military surplus. It's the most likely place I can think of to find that style. eBay seems to have a number of them as well, though not quite as close as I think would be nice.
The hat specifically is a "mad" bomber hat (sometimes listed as a "winter" bomber hat, or a "trooper") with aviator goggles on top. At least, as close as I can find. Ski hats would also probably work, depending on what you find. You'll probably have to alter them either way though.

So of course, after we talk about how it makes both of us grumpy when we don't talk/see each other at least once every couple of days, I don't hear from him for several. Agh.

More than that, I hate having uneven skin tones.
I don't mind if I'm pale, as long as I'm all one color.
I mean, in places other than my girly parts.
I have a feeling that they won't be seen by anyone for a while.

God I hate hate hate being sick! And I especially hate having to stay in the hospital. It's one thing to work there, but to stay? No thank you.
Well, at least they finally let me go home. I think I might have gone insane if I stayed another night. Now that wouldn't have been a good impression to give to my boss. D:
Mmm that cool bath was nice, I should take another one, as soon as I get the energy to get up again. :B

procrastination girl apparently watching back-to-back episodes of House dried out my eyeballs, because now they're all close-y. on the other hand, Hugh Laurie is a sweet babe, so it's worth it. I saw that season finale of House where that guy had the swelled up tongue and his eyes and other things exploded. It gave me nightmares for almost a week, it was awesome. I should really be doing my homework right now... ):
