Marks Temper This week was the aftermath of the Delay-o-Doom, we were all expecting something to tide the very pissed off North American fans and we got one of the worst weeks in Dojo history. I mean the Friday updates used to be the epic ones and this is not Epic, I don't care how many times it is said in an update. Who plays Timed battles, none the less for 2 minutes. There should be some form of ranking no matter how simplistic. Stage select should be "slob picks" meaning lowest ranked player gets choice. Telling the cpu's and real players apart is easy unless you are playing an idiot. No internal mention of rules beyond Pick fighter/stage/wait. No word of how Team matches will work. Seemingly forcing the Friend codes on us to play a proper match of Smash bros. No 1v1 option. We knew about this mode months ago, this was just a Filler update with 2 screen shots meant to cause speculation. I could go on all damn day, Tell me I am bitching and complaining, I don't care this online functionality is as half assed as it possibly could be. Yeah, you're kind of bitching. Why don't you just be happy we got some implied confirmation of what characters are default, and also that we have online at all? I'm sure the CPU has been upped significantly. And no ranks is more fair anyways.

I'm not saying the online will be bad, in fact I'm gonna love not having to run all the way over to my friend's house to play him, but if it is bad then don't play it.

I actually wasn't expecting team battles for With Anyone, this has already exceeded all of my expectations. I'm guessing there's no item options though (lol).
Also, keep in mind that minimal online> no online, and they don't even have to update this site. Even the worst of updates is more than we really have a right to.

Teh AK Skine99 Sauvie Yamato1 Has anyone else noticed that Zelda is not in the beginning roster that they posted on the website? And we're sure she's going to be in it, otherwise she wouldn't have been a choice to pick when you're fighting Petey Pirahna. hmmm.... *postulates* that was just the Demo roster. Dedede and Zelda are confirmed starters and yet they are not there... and there is another person that is missing from there that is 100% a starting character. If they were a starter character, they'd be on that screen. I'm going to say I believe that character select screen is the starters. SONIC!? WTF!? NOOOOOOOOOO! NOT AS A ******** STARTER WE SHOULD UNLOCK HIM! stressed
What the hell? Why? What's wrong with Sonic being a starter exactly?Because think about it, we begged and begged for him, he shouldn't be handed over. I think all third party characters being the hardest to unlock with Sonic being the highest. He shouldn't be handed over on a silver platter we should earn him. Also, I realize from a bunch of you that its a demo screen so I'm relieved now. And team battles with anyone is great because its definately with friends then.

nintendo was against online play at first..know why..because it might pull friends away form eachother, like what's happening in most online games like Halo etc
look...they put the friendcode..WHY? so you can play with your FRIENDS in other countries etc...I have NO prob whatsoever with how they're doing this..just think about it.
meet somebody for real..or onlkine..get to know eachother..SOCIALIZE and THEN ask friendcodes etc....it's like a phonenumber....
why in HELL would I want to call random people
sure batteling random people is alot of fun
but it turns really stupid when you add people and they never talk and there's not much fun in playing

That doesn't make any sense. -_-
We don't have to earn anything. We're the ones playing MONEY for the games. Unlocking characters isn't about earning anything, it's about giving us a reward for playing the game.
What I don't get is how it matters at all whether Sonic is a starter or not. And don't tell me you don't care because "SONIC!? WTF!? NOOOOOOOOOO! NOT AS A ******** STARTER WE SHOULD UNLOCK HIM!" shows that you do. A lot. :]

I really hope that teams "with anyone" means that you and your friend take on the world, and not you and someone you don't know team up. I think there will be a "lottery" choosing of items and stages for teams as well.
