Khalid looked up at the demon. "So, Luci, are you a shape shifter like Vadin? Or do you have some other dandy ability?" Demons generally had one specialty, like Vadin with his form shifting.

Khalid couldn't really say that he was surprised by Kira's enthusiasm. He just nodded, running a hand through his hair. "You died before your time. Bakura really screwed things up. It's pretty much my job to make sure you get back. So, yes. Really really."

Khalid choked slightly, tensing uncomfortably at the hug. He needed Kira to calm down. Which is why he blurted out the first thing that came to mind. "Ryou and I are married now."

Khalid struggled to pry Kira's hands away. "It's just a marriage. Believe me when I say that nothing romantic in the least is going on between me and Ryou. But I just thought you might want to know about my husband before you got back."

Khalid laughed dryly, rubbing his neck. "It's been... a little over a month in our world. Not long, I know, but I wanted to bring you back as soon as I could. I have to..." Khalid trailed off, looking behind him, and then shook his head slightly. "I have to actually form a body for you still. Your friend Luci there is coming to the mortal world too, I suppose."
