Well I guess it was only a matter of time. Was such a part of my life though. I mean I knew it was going to happen eventually, but it still came as a shock to me. Had it for years. *sigh* Huh, just realized how much this sounds like death. It's not.

Kestin Sha The apparent Diagnose hate kind of irritates me. It's the only healing ring I use, because it's the only one that doesn't require the ridiculously obnoxious procedure of having to target oneself or the other person/people every single ******** time (which is why I don't use most rings anymore since they made them all like that, directly leading to my near-complete lack of interest in playing at all)...I don't know, I just get pissed off when something I like very much is disliked by everyone else. It shouldn't, but...it does.
Besides, if I'm crewing one day and get yelled at for using it, it would most likely keep me away entirely for months, if not years. :/ The hive incident was scarring enough. It's why I crew much less often than I used to, even after buffs were changed.
I really should stop worrying so much about backlash in here since nobody reads my posts anyway...but I can't bring myself to say things less politely than I can manage at the time. Paranoia, of course. Always paranoia. Just know that I'm generally more annoyed than I let on, including this post, even when it's for no real reason, as it always is.
P.S. I'm not asking for an explanation, please. If I tried to understand hardcore players and their discussions on "why X is good and Y is bad" rather than "I like X and dislike Y, so I use X and avoid Y", my head would probably fall off. Just a place to vent, and people to listen, although I rarely get that one.

Well I feel humiliated. All the years of keeping it inside, and yesterday I came out to dad. In less than 10 seconds, the discussion of my sexuality was over since he would still love me and accept me for the way I am. I feared electro-shock therapy that could have happened but thankfully didn't.

@Kestin: I don't hate diagnose...I prefer it for crewing if I know that we'll be taking a good amount of damage and that I'll need to keep an eye on everyone's health. It's easier since I don't have to target, plus it heals everyone. But I use bandage if I'm soloing since it heals more. And I'm pretty sure I've taken both rings at the same time before.
