  Ace closed his eyes nervously, he didn't realize their were so many blood thirsty creatures here. He forced a smile to his cousin, "I am certainly not feeling the most at home here Lavender... Perhaps I shou..." he started to say but was inerupted as he saw Atta approach. She seemed to be trying to reach out to his daughter. Ace smiled still holding up his daughter and pried her away from him and laid her down to stand in front of him. He forced her to stand up straight in front of Atta. "Look sweetheart, I think someone wants to be your friend" he said speaking in a gentle tone.Esme still looked quite terrified. She stared at Atta's hand cautiously before she slowly reached for it and placed her little hand in hers.
"I know nothing will happen to me, daddy will protect me" she said as she looked Atta over, she looked a little scary for her but she acted very kind. The young girl still forced a smile at her, "You want to be my friend?" she asked with courage.

Voro had noticed Lavender's Cousin on her mother side. He was very polite and rarely seen as was really any of them. He smiled with great happiness to see him.
"Hello there."
He sent a mental nudge with his words to him. He chuckled to himself as he continued to float about the room.

Umi recognized the rare sight of the cousin of Lady Death. She continued to watch with stark precision taking in every detail. Umi's breathing betrayed how she felt though. Nervous and cautious were her bodily instincts, but her breathing was calm.

Draka again let out a few laughs at Mercy's words and he stood and spoke with a light tone and an amused look, "I am not here for your head dear Mercy. However maybe you remember an attack on your life about two maybe two and a half centuries ago?" His eyes flared back into their blood red color. His amused grin only seemed to make him look crazed or just mentally unstable, but he had given her the same look at the time when he had tried to take her life those years ago. He hoped that perhaps this would jog her memory.

 Rai's wound now being completely gone and his energy steadily began to recover on it's own. He then began to suppress his aura through a light sequence of meditation. Rai focused on it only breifly before his aura was now so small his presence would be undectable to any body who was distracted and not focusing souly on him. His runes could hide his aura completely along with anything else however mentally he could control his aura with a control that rivaled perfection.
He looked about the room and saw the people conversing and watched as a few newer people entered. Rai stood up and looked to the man that had helped him, "What exactly is this place?" He spoke with a very plain voice no real emotion showed it's way through. "So many people here seem so docile when the lands around this place are very, unfriendly, to put it nicely." His sword was attached to his back and he took comfrot in knowing it was within reach when surrounded by strangers.

She smiled at Ace "He was injured, you will be fine cousin, do not worry. The members here will not harm anyone, not if they value their lives. Which in honestly most of them do." She smiled at Atta, always being kind to everyone before her head moved up and noticed Draconus "It has been along time." She smiled a bit more, it had been too long since she'd seen any of the few family members she had left other than her own children
Jinx slowly rose to his feet "This place, is her home" His head tilts toward Lady, who was still in the window, leaning with Mercy and Mark in her lap, Ace, Esme and Atta near them "She opened it for all those who need a place to stay, human, demon, vampire. You name it, it is probably here somewhere, or at least has a room here for them to stay. The lands directly surrounding the mansion are under our protection, anyone seen wandering around without them knowing they belong here is normally considered a threat. They help us, food supplies, labor if the mansion needs repairs or upgrades, we offer to keep them safe from place that wish to invade." His arms crossed over his chest, his white hair swung over his left shoulder, he stood at least 6'4, and wore cloths that were more suited for the 18th century than the modern one they were in now "Fighting within the walls is a forbidden thing, any of it between people living here is taken off the grounds. But it is rare for any fighting to go on anyway, most of the people who come here want nothing more than a place away from the violence and harm that follows them because of who they are. And that is what they get here, a peaceful place to call home." He glanced at him, his eyes a soft blue almost like the sky on a clear day

Rai listened as the man spoke, learning the details as quick as he could. His eyes did follow to where Lady sat with some people chatting about some things that Rai really didn't care about. He nodded his head occasionally to reassure the speaker he was listening. Rai's dull brown almost red eyes looked back the man speaking without fear and without contempt.
Sitting there he thought for a second before he stood up, "So she created this place as a haven for people who were tired of conflict and war?" He chuckled slightly at this, "A place where beings of any heritage can come and live under the same roof, how do you keep the racial wars down here?" Rai wasn't a rascist at all, to him everyone was a threat or a target it's how he had lived this long and he planned on maintaining that standard of living.

 Sin stood in the background quietly waiting for someone to help her with an outfit and show her the bath.She glanced around at all the people in the room examining everyone there with curiousity ...So this place was like a sanctuary for people who did not want to fight or trouble...so many people united in one place...there had to be a fight every now and then but it made no matter to her as long as no one caused her any trouble and the bad man did not find her.

She smiled "It is good to have you home." She motioned her hand to Ace "Draconus this is Ace, and his daughter Esme. He is a cousin of mine." She smiled at Ace "Ace this is Draconus, he is my cousin on my mother's side."
Jinx just smiled slightly "People here do not care about race, there are no racial wars here. It is a place for those who need a home, somewhere to go where they do not have to worry that the next person they see will harm them in someway, a family so to speak." He glanced at him slightly before he moved and flopped in Lady's chair

"Then the mistress of this manner is doing something right." He sighed as he heard the word family and for a brief second he thought of his father but the thought suppressed itself and Rai watched as the man went and flopped down in a chair. H stood there almost awkwardly, he stood in a room full of people that lived in peace with no worries, and here he was an trained ninja assassin a lethal and deadly force. Could he really accept that this place was real?
Rai was standing perfectly still and if someone hadn't known that he was alive one might have thought he was merely a decrative statue in the room. He spoke lightly, "I best not stay here too long then." It was intended for the man to hear, he was a danger to this place and he wouldn't let his enemies come here looking for him, these people didn't deserve his burden.
