Yeah, sometimes you need to just kick it in gear and get going with an RP.
I think the best way to do that would be, plan the flow of events ahead of time, so you don't get stuck mid-quest, going all,
"WTF? THATS NOT THE REAL PHIOSOPHERS STONE! HOW DARE YOU CALL ME SHORT! UHH...WHAT DO WE DO NOW, AL?"
'I guess we can go home.'
"....SOUNDS GOOD."
