I don't think I've ever heard the non-Run DMC version of Walk This Way. I don't think I'd want to.

Heh. I'm sure there are people who'd disagree, but for the most part? It's an astoshingly mediocre song that gets way too much play on "classic" rock stations.
At least, that's my experience.

It wasn't old enough OR . . . well, I WANT to say good enough, but . . . when they play bad Aerosmith songs, that phrase doesn't seem to apply, I suppose neutral
