eh well drinking isnt anything big. you get drunk and act like an a**. get in fights say stupid things that will lead to trouble with friends. if you're with a woman and get drink enough you might get her knocked up and be daddy riv if you can drive and you drink and your friends arent smart enought to take your keys...you could wreck and kill some one or your self.
yeah i drink or drank. once i was so drunk i was trying to get outta a chair for another glas of rum and coke my friend said no more and i told him to go to hell so he told everyone else that if i went for another to beat my a**..so i was like screw it and crawled for the door because i knew i had my car keys.
my dad used to drink and he'd beat on my mom
my one friend from school was on his motorcycle and a drunk driver swerved into his side of the road and he died

Drinking in moderation is fine. You're talking about drinking in excess.
Also, if you plan ahead, like getting a taxi, then you will be fine.

You said "guys" as in plural. I didn't give you any ******** stories so don't try and ******** say I did, alright?
@Weasel; alcohol affects people in different ways, obviously. Like for me, it doesn't make me angry. It doesn't affect my dad in that way either. And just trying it won't make you blind drunk.

well yeah but like when i got that drunk we was just sittin round talking and haveing fun and never planned anything it just happend...
but bad stuff comes from drinking it can also cause liver disease i had my first beer when i was 13 my x best friend waited till his parents left and got one out and we shared it it tasted bad but i drank it anyways because i knew if i didnt he'd make fun of me and tell kids in school so...by the time i was ready for home i had like half of one and 2 full ones( the tall cans not the short ones ) and had to ride my bike home..was funny ..trying to ride with a buzz. i ended up quit drinking 3 months in my relashionship with my X. but i've had a couple drinks here and there since she left i think we got together in the summer of 03 and in april of 04 (it was a few months before i joined gaia) she left because i threw her friends out of our apartment who was liveing there unoffially

Liver disease mostly comes from binge drinking, which Riv is not talking about doing. It also comes from consuming excessive amounts of alcohol, which he's not talking of doing. As I said before, it's fine when taken in moderation.
And no offence, but I've heard a lot of stories like yours before, and I'm just not in the mood for it now.
I guess I won't give you any advice other than this Riv; if you want to do it, just wait for the next opportunity and do it. In the meantime, don't beat yourself up about it because it's not that big a deal.
You can't get angry at me for that.
I'm off to go out for dinner.
