@everyone: 1st of all, to those still in the academy, can you put down the name of your character and any jutsu you have yet to learn? I just want to see who's where so I get a general idea for a few things. And good news, I'm working on a mission for any who wish to join. It doesn't involve oto plot, but it'll be interesting and keep us occupied.
The mission will be in a house, where we will be trapped in the basement. It is our goal to escape the house, however... we find some gruesome things going on and not everyone who is alive there is necessarily right in the head. There are 20 rooms in the house and I have 6 finished. It'll give us a few items and some money as well as experience and stat points. I can make it longer once we go on, but I want to see who'll be interested!

No you guys don't, I know better then anyone that you don't. You lost your Kage, tough, so did Kiri two years ago. Take ahold of the reigns and go. Your inaction while waiting for one person is killing your village.

Gideon Commando No you guys don't, I know better then anyone that you don't. You lost your Kage, tough, so did Kiri two years ago. Take ahold of the reigns and go. Your inaction while waiting for one person is killing your village. The village died when our kage was lost, no one is posting anymore... I'm thinking about doing a recruitment drive for Oto to get back on our feet. I will do what i can for the village, I just want the others to know... that I can't do this thing myself.

*sigh* First off, I want to say this: We lost our Kage right out of the blue in the middle of plot. Now I have to try and work around whatever he had planned. This takes time. Right now it is only a few of us, and nobody has posted besides us training wise so I am taking this time to figure out future plot. Everyone can continue training as is and once I get things figured out, we'll move right along.
Secondly, I know the feelings you (plural, meaning everyone) have for Sage, but please let's just keep it civil. I have no power in the guild, but I will not tolerate incessant, insignificant bickering. I don't tolerate it at work, I won't tolerate it here. I have enough drama in rl, I don't need it here. I love this place ^^ I can make a life out of nothing and do almost anything. I don't want that ruined.
That said, I have respect for everyone and am glad for the willingness to help. With my work schedule there are days I might not be on, but I will try my hardest to pull through with the village. Here are my goals right now:
1) Create and make a rise to the new council. With the Otokage missing, someone needs to step up.
2) Pick up where Orikami left off. We were making a diplomatic trip to Kiri and were lost. Gid, if you would like, we could make a new mission and go again. Send me what you think ^^
3) Creating some missions for us all. With Yuu and Shimo bordering us, we have some resources to use as missions. I will be working on these missions.
4) With the fire damiyo fighting in the fire country, Oto could be in trouble. There may be some missions regarding that, but not for a while.
5) Make Oto a respectable village. This is our long term goal. With Oto's past, Oto wants to gain some respect (however I may have plans to have a certain someone try to ruin it).
These are my plans. I am open to ideas and suggestions. I'm a likable guy who doesn't bite xD I would like to add that if anyone has problems with what I say, please, please PM me about it. Now, how about we get back to some fun and kick ninja butt? ^^

Qyp You guys seem to not need Sage... It still doesn't give you or Gid any right to deny him re-entry to the guild. He left of his own accord and Kouri was trying to invite him back, but couldn't due to Gaia Errors or what have you. Unless I am missing a piece of info here, you undermined the will of the guild VC, and seeing as Kekaru has been online all of like twice to my knowledge, she is the authority in this guild. Regardless of whether or not we need Sage, people want him here, and you two acting like children, coming in here and trying to talk bad about him behind his back, just because he isn't here ... neither of you are any more fit to be crew than Sage is. Everyone has their problems, but I think Sage provides a lot more good than bad overall. And I much prefer his focused passion-driven anger to Qyp's random outburst of stupidity. "Oh Hiru had babies! Lets make me Vice Captain." Or whatever you quoted me for in hurt and heal ... I'm pretty sure not deleting post is in the rules Qyp, just saying ... And guns exist in Naruto cannon guys, but Kishimoto didn't include them often because he thought that guns would bring down ninja to easily. Not to mention, if they are used as an NPC only plot device and given to people without jutsu, it sounds fair ... depending on the stats for guns ... Point is you two, don't pretend to be so high and mighty on your thrones, as I heard it from Kouri, both of you got crew for one reason only, random happenstance. In fact I believe that Qyp was not a popular choice at the time, and from what I see, he isn't that popular now, but he was active and had experience. Same thing with you too Gid, Kouri was gone to often, so you became crew because you were active and experienced. I see a lot of effort put in from Tai and Proto, and at least Kouri tries to manage things and roleplays with decent length post. What do you to provide as a service that makes you so great as to tell us what we should think oh mighty thought police? Back on track, Sage contributed a lot to this guild, and was willing to help. From what I saw, he didn't want to take over Oto, he didn't want to be Kage, he just wanted to run missions, and if he had a plotline made, thats a lot more than either of you two have ever done, so quit your s**t talking and come back down to Earth with the rest of us. Sorry for having to say that and steer off course, but wouldn't the Otobe have a serious problem with part one? I mean, Ghost established Hisoka as a neutral party, but I doubt even he would let that happen unless said council was all Otobe members. I think its a much better idea to keep the council idea OOC and maybe have an Otobe successor rise up as Otokage or something. I don't like hedpefan's idea of leveling his characters to Kage's he is to new to be trusted with that. And I have seen other people make Kage level character's and abuse them via my years of lurking, I would really like to avoid Kage level NPCs if we do a council so that when the time come to actually have a singular Kage, its not going to be 7 Kage's vs 1 .... 35 or so is enough to be an effective leadership role if you are supported.

Hi Sage... Also that Naruto one shot has nothing at all to do with the actual series, Yeah, the same general ideas for Naruto being a "Demon Fox" is there, and all that, but it's not connected to the Naruto series canon. Guns do not exist in the Naruto world as far as the series goes.

Guns do not exist in the Naruto world as far as the series goes. In fact firearms are the one thing Kishimoto specified would not be included in Naruto. He did say that maybe cars, and planes. And even said simple computers may appear, which they did, but firearms, no. However this is not a discussion for the Oto Chatbox, I think we should relocate this to the main one. Don't want to be cluttering this up now.
