"I'm going to go now. See ya later." Khalid said, waving briefly before quickly going to the front door, stepping outside. He nearly rammed into Yugi on his way out. "Hello, short stuff. What brings you down here?" "Um... I..." Yugi hadn't expected to see Khalid. "Is Kawi in there? She went to drop Kai off at your house and I didn't know what was taking her so long."

Yugi choked slightly, his eyes practically popping out. "She's... what? How?" Khalid draped an arm over Yugi's shoulders, sighing heavily. "Well, you see, Yugi, when a man and a woman love each other very much..." Khalid began to explain, only to have Yugi shove him away.
"Shut up. You're not funny." Yugi grumbled, turning his attention back towards Kawi. "Did she just find out? I mean, she didn't look like she was showing... She must have just found out, right?"

"Nah, I can cook these on my own." Atem said. He hadn't mesed up, except for that one that burnt. "You could get the plates and syrup and silverware out, though." Yugi nodded and went to the cabinet, pulling out four big plates and going over to the table. "Um... Atem, your chair is broken." Atem shrugged, already knowing that.

"I'll tell Khalid to get a new one for me." Atem said, pouring some more oil onto the pan. "It's his fault for it being broken, after all. He..." He glanced around, looking for Ember, and then dropped his voice down to a low whisper. "He was just trying to get me angry, I know, but did you hear what he said? He said Ember's child was going to be a miscarriage!"
